  1. Theres a real chance I'm gonna die of heat exhaustion tomorrow, expected to be 29 degrees and I work in a shop (that I won't name) that rarely puts aircon on on the shop floor and doesn't allow staff to have access to hand of water on the floor (it has to be kept by the stairwell/lift where it runs risk of a) going warm and b) being binned by dopey cleaners, and even then staff can't be allowed to leave the floor to go take a sip)

  2. A weeks delay isn't took bad and an understandable move considering the live events are the same weekend as Takeover and MITB so they would avoid burnout having 4 live broadcasts on the network across 4 nights as well as producing the weekly TV the same evenings as the UK shows

Apparently they were all supposed to be coming to do a bunch of media stuff in London, but that’s been cancelled in the wake of these reports

Yeah they had been announced for MCM Comic Con from today through to Sunday, the interview broke and suddenly MCM put a tweet out announcing their appearances were cancelled

I - foolishly - left during the credits of Infinity War. I needed a wee. Did I miss something worth going again for? (Not that that's an issue, mind).

There is one post credit scene, featuring two returning cameos and a hint at someone

  7. He’s not completely done, the angle with him since coming in has been him having to go through a weigh in every week to maintain him, he doesn’t make the weight he doesn’t compete

Cracking main event on this weeks show between the Lucha House Party and Tozawa and Itami, I’d they go ahead with bringing in tag titles for the Cruisers then those two teams will be front runners to be maiden champions for sure

  8. Ash vs Evil Dead is getting better and better per episode but it's likely to be getting cancelled due to poor ratings on Starz after the final episode of season 3 in 2 weeks, however there's been talk of Netflix picking the show up for a fourth season or better yet a 4th film (5th if you count the reboot) to close out the franchise

The intro to the old mid nineties wreatlemania song has always annoyed me. Why the hell do they say "welcome to the Survivor Series" at the start?

They don't, the line is 'I said, Are You Ready...(ready) For The Survivor Series' as for why, you'd have to ask Mike Stock or Pete Waterman that as they wrote it

A company called Monopoly Events has just created a Facebook page called "For the Love of Wrestling"

These guys put on the "For the Love of Sci Fi" convention recently that featured David Hasselhoff and William Shatner as well as Liverpool Comic Con that had Edge appear.

It looks like they're now looking to stage a Wrestling Convention in 2019 with this new page they've set up. Whilst no details have been released I'd imagine it'l follow the usual format of autographs, photoshoots and Q&A panels.

Follow the page here for more:

I didn't get to the SciFi con they ran but they done a phenomenal job putting Liverpool Comic Con together in just 8 weeks after MCM pulled out of doing Liverpool shows only 2 years into their contract with ACC Liverpool

That's a great shout. Hadn't even considered Kane. Again, similar to Shane, the only time in what seems like forever that his involvement is an actual plus!

Kane would be a good shout for sure, wonder if they could persuade Big Show to come out of retirement as a one off, playing off on his friendships with both Shane and DB. Jericho would be another one but I think he has a Fozzy gig the same day

  12. Thats what I love about being an uncle, my 6 year old nephew got into wrestling through me so gives me an excuse to stroll round the wrestling sections in toy shops. Hell yesterday I was at Liverpool Comic Con, predominantly cos Edge was there signing (super nice guy btw!) and spent much of my time hunting out for any wrestling figures that he might not have (which isn't an easy feat). Picked up a Mr Perfect figure loose from the Basics line which, to my delight when I gave him it this afternoon, he didn't have. This led to me showing him videos of the Perfect Plex so he could then do the move on his other figures

quick heads up for anyone who loves pick n mix, Just seen confirmed that Wilko half price pic n mix is back from the 19th Feb running until the 25th Feb

That's me sorted for the next two days

  14. I've only watched 2 so far, Supertape 1 and Wrestling Super Heroes, the former featured the Hogan/Beefcake v Savage/Zeus cage match that aired on PPV with No Holds Barred and a hilarious profile segment on the Bushwhackers in which Mean Gene turns full Whacker after eating too much buzzard. Super Heroes is really short and features the Demolition v Powers of Pain/Fuji match from WM5 and the Hogan/Hercules match from an early SNME
