There's plenty of fucking great Zandig clips on YouTube. Zandig has gotta' be one of the most ridiculously stupid yet hilarious characters in indy wrestling. His promos are supposed to be dead serious but uusually contain about 3 or 4 moments of sheer lunacy, I love it.
Â
Check these two gems out, I could watch them all day:

Rocky?Demolition Man?I think Stallone is quite under-rated in terms of acting actually.but when my girlfriend said there was a good movie with Stallone in it - I refused to believe it.
-
LOL. What a random but great reference.
-
As to why it
-
Fucking awesome. It's easy to forget how unbelievably entertaining The Rock was. Compare these to naything on WWE TV nowadays and you realise how far the company has fallen.Number 8 may just be one of the best promos I have ever seen.
-
I also got The Proposition which is very enjoyable, but kind of pointless as the film doesn't seem to have a clear message or voice behind it.
-
Calm down ladies.Anyways, has anyone seen The Three Burials Of *insert long Mexican name here* by Tommy Lee Jones? I got it for a fiver at Blockbusters but havewn't watched it yet, is it any good?
-
I thought the first hour was complete shite.
-
I thought Nightwatch was one of the worst movies I had ever seen and turned it off an hour in because it was so mind-numbing it gave me a headache. That's just me though.
-
I just got back from Pan's Labyrinth and it was the biggest piece of shit ever.
Â
Just kidding, it's a masterpiece. Go see it now.
-
I've decided to take the shorter trek to Wimbledon and watch it there. Or Kingston maybe. Still, fuck Vue for not doing a major release.
-
Why? You're only going to reply with a big post on how mis-cast everyone was and how poor the special effects are and it'll just escalate with no one coming to any understanding or compromise. Y'know...the exact same thing that happened in the King Kong thread.I think using stars to judge a film is shit though.I'd love to know why the Lord of the Rings films deserved five stars.
-
...and deservedly so. But let's not revisit that old argument.I enjoy reading Empire, but their reviews can often be shaky.
Empire also gave King Kong and the Lord Of The Rings movies five stars. Fuck Empire.
Empire gave it 5 stars. That's a bit of an eye-opener.I didn't think anyone liked AI.

I think Spielberg can direct brilliant SCENES but when it comes to whole films his record isn't as good as his reputation makes it out to be.For the amount of films he's made there are more clangers than classics.
-
Nah. Shawshank is better.
-
I had the day off work today so have just finished watching The Shawshank Redemption for the 100th time. It always suprises me how unbelievably good that movie is, easily the best film I have ever seen, is miles ahead of possibly every other movie ever made and I honestly don't think any movie will ever be able to top it.

I liked the Joe/Davey segment in the four way. They had a singles match in PWG last year which was incredibly awesome. It was Joe beating the shit out of Davey and cutting him off at every turn as Davey is just getting more pissed off and pumped up after every stop. Then Davey eventually just goes fucking nuts and hits Joe with about 6 big running forearms and then in classic Davey-style hits a huge clothesline while screaming "DIE!" which takes Joe flying out of his boots. It's a great match, when they face off in ROH it's going to be huge.I wish Gabe would book Davey in a proper fued though.
-
Lantern, out of interest, now you've seen his stuff, what's your opinion on Davey Richards?I personally feel that in ROH he comes across as very bland and by the numbers, while in PWG his intensity really stands out and has had fucking incredible matches while nothing he has done in ROH so far has really inspired me.
-
I'm tempted, but the 3 hour plus journey which will no doubt result in me getting lost somewhere is more than a tad off-putting.
-
Does anyone know why Vue cinemas...despite having 100+ cinemas throughout the country is only showing Pans Labyrinth in six of them? Fucking bullshit, I wanna' see this movie so badly but can't find anywhere nearby to see it without having to go all the way into central London...on my own...at the weeked.
-
I want to see it, but none of the cunting cinemas near me are showing it.
-
Some of that stuff is ridiculously funny.

The title of the thread is "DVD's and Films You Have Watched Recently" not "DVD's and Films You Have Spoiled For People Who Haven't Seen Them recently"."Gang Related" with James Belushi and, in his last film role, Tupac Shakur. Both play cops who shoot dead an undercover D.E.A. officer thinking he was a drug dealer. Both fit up this hobbo for the crime. Belushi turns heel and kills Tupac and everybody connected with the crime. Tupac is decent enough playing the face cop. The suprise when Belushi finds out 2Pac is wearing a wire is tremendous.Decent enough film. (***/*****)

Agreed. While I just about preferred the 100th show main event the Cage Of Death was still incredible. Eddie Kingston's entrance is easily one of my favorites moments in ROH this year, the way the crowd reacts to Hero saying "I don't have an ace up my sleeve...I've got a king of diamonds!" and the HUGE heat Eddie gets in the ring. I was just dissappointed he didn't get to do more in the match. Kingston is easily the most under-rated wrestler out there in the US.I know the CZW stuff sagged in the middle, but the blow off in the CoD is immense. I had no idea that ROH could ever book something so close to perfectly. Look forward to it.

I saw X Men 3 earlier and it's the biggest load of wank ever. The film had big managerial problems in pre-production and it shows as this movie is a mess from start to finish. There is absolutely nothing in this film that makes it even worth 2 hours of your time.
