  1. My guess is it's from that guy who posted on here in a thread about how newcomers can feel threatened by people on the board. What a fucking cunt, I'd fucking stab the prick if I had the chance.

  2. I watched Sunshine on Sunday and found it to be an incredibly convulted mess of a movie that had lots of big ideas and themes it wanted to get across but had no idea how to actually pull it off. I'd recommend you avoid it.

Definitely one of those movies that loses ** in the final third.
I thought it was pretty mediocre for the first two thirds aswell to be honest.
  3. Clockwork OrangeSaw this as part of a College assignment. As a film it raises interesting points about social expressionism and themes like freedom. It's also clever in that whilst you originally find yourself hating the main character, later on you begin to feel sorry for him as the story progresses. Not to my personal taste, but as a film it's certainly thought provoking and interesting viewing.

Another example of a film ruined by not keeping to the books original ending.
What is the books ending then?
  4. i actually find people that get offended by wrestling laughable.

Two faces, in their forties, led the audience, including children, into a chant of faggot.Being offended by this is laughable?
Kind of yeah, wrestling hasn't exactly been P.C for nearly ten years now.
    When was wrestling ever PC?
  5. I fucking love Demolition Man.. It's a really nice family film, at least it was in my household anyway.

Same here. I always see in Blockbusters all these crappy cartoon and fantasy films in the "Family" section. I remember when I was about 7-11 every Saturday my family would sit around and watch a movie together and it was usually some bad-ass action movie, not some stupid kiddies film. Specific family films of mine I can remember are Demolition Man, Die Hard, Speed and Commando. Also, the first movie I can actually remember watching is Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (the Donald Sutherland one) which I think is pretty fucked up by my parents to show a little kid.
  6. This is for lovers of both The Beatles and Wu Tang Clan. A track leaked from the new Wu album and it's "The Heart Gently Weeps" and is basically based on "My Guitar Gently Weeps" but re-recorded featuring contributions by George Harisson's son and rapping from the glorious Wu Tang Clan. This is a beautiful, chilled out rap tune that shows why hip-hop isn't dead because Wu Tang are forever. Everyone should give this a go.

"Treatment Bound" by The Replacements. It's a gritty, happy, guitar track with an insanely catchy chorus and intentionnally sounds like it was recorded in a garden shed in the middle of nowhere with an 8-track that's been run over with a car. Really fun.

And Seven, do you like any songs under 3 and a half minutes? Everything you post is some long, slow building 5 minuter.

  8. I saw Less Than Jake live at Mean Fiddler last friday and it was one of the most fun nights of my entire life. Seriously, the happiest and most feel good band I have ever seen live. To celebrate here's one of my favorites "Five State Drive", so goddamn catchy and awesome. If you don't like this then you are a miserable bastard.http://www.sendspace.com/file/ta6lyi

Which album did you get when you saw them?
I was there on Friday which meant I got "Hello Rockview" which made me extremely happy.
