Every wrestling move is dangerous if the person doing it fucks it up.
OUCH!Another fine reason why that idiot SSP needs to be banned.Fleisch breaks his jaw against Saito at KoE - http://youtube.com/watch?v=GpcDNUyE55U

I saw Less Than Jake live at Mean Fiddler last friday and it was one of the most fun nights of my entire life. Seriously, the happiest and most feel good band I have ever seen live. To celebrate here's one of my favorites "Five State Drive", so goddamn catchy and awesome. If you don't like this then you are a miserable bastard.

I wouldn't take anything said on the ROH board seriously, they are a bunch of dickheads on there. Rearding Steen, hes awesome because he can do the high impact spot-based style of many indy wrestlers but actually has tons of personality and charisma to go with it. He can play a brilliant comedy role or a spectacular prick heel.

It's got Necro in it which instantly makes it awesome.Book Necro v. Morishima is what I say.
-
I saw 12 Monkeys yesterday. Really enjoyed it alot. Brad Pitt was awesome in it.
-
That Project 616 malarky has turned out to be Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black & Necro Butcher.
-
John Carpenter was pretty much completely awesome up untill 1988 when he released They Live and immediatly after all his genius and creativity seemed to vanish into thin air.

As we are posting cover songs now, here is Tori Amos doing "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Not too shabby.

It was shown at some film festival where it was booed out of the building and it has been in a year of re-editing since.

The Thing is brilliant. One of the best horror movies ever made. The special effects are still incredible to this day.
-
It came out last week in the US but only had a limited release. So the UK is probably only going to get it on DVD.
That does look great. Anyone know when it is coming out ?
Here be the trailer for those interestedIt does look great, and Jeff looks to be his awesome usual self. Plus,it's got Silverman in it! Count me in.There's a movie coming out called "I want someone to eat cheese with" written, directed & starring Jeff Garlin of Curb Your Enthusiam fame. It looks like the sweetest movie ever and I want to see it more than any big-ass blockbuster coming out this year. Look up the trailer.

The minute John Carpenter stopped using his own synth scores his movies went down hill.
-
Fuck that. The synth score is awesome.Escape From New York is still a fantastic film and Kurt Russell will always be one of my Fav Actors, a man who has been great is so many good films. the only problem I have with the film is the synth score which really dates it

Funny you say that because I'm a huge ATHF fan and I HATED the movie. Too much focus on the Plutonians and the Robot Chicken who I can't stand. Easily the two worst characters, they never made me laugh in the show and they don't in the movie either. No where near enough Carl and none of Master Shake abusing Meatwad. I know the show was never famous for it's plots but I think the movie definitely needed a solid plot that actually went somewhere. I would have liked it if the the team were faced off against one of the Mooninites evil plans or something. I was really dissappointed.

Here's a cover of the official most depressing song ever "Gloomy Sunday" by Bjork. It's nowhere near as sad with Bjork's beautiful voice over it though, the intro is fucking amazing and it's just allround musical goodness. If you like 'em slow, epic and beautiful then give it a go.

1408 is actually supposed to be pretty good though. Why not go to a good film for once?

Yeah Ian Rotten is quite the scumfuck.

Anyways:

Abdullah The Butcher smashes a coffee pot over a wrestlers head. This is pretty gross.

Some weird folks go to US deathmatch shows. At the end of TOD3 it shows footage of two 11-12 year old girls asking Necro Butcher for his autograph and while they are doing this the medics are cleaning up not only a shredded elbow covered in mud but also a gash so deep in chest you can see the fat.

It's amazing how even at the very end of ECW with the whole promotion in disarray they still managed to perfectly execute this fucking brilliant, exciting and emotional angle. Rhino beating The Sandman for the World Championship. I forgot how seriously great it was.

That was great, post the other one.And I suppose I couldn't post in this thread without uploading a song, so... this is "Read a Book" off of Dj Yoda & Dan Greenpeace's Unthugged 2: Electric Boogaloo. This song is hilarious, crunk and educational. Check it out! Doesn't quite top "Punch you in the Face" off of Unthugged Vol 1, but still great...

No kidding. "Fuck Da Police" was by N.W.A. not Public Enemy. Good track anyway. This song to me sounds like really early kind of hip-hop (I'm no expert on hip-hop by any means), reminescent of Public Enemy's Fuck Da Police,
-
Yeah, it's fucking brilliant. The quality wanes a bit from season 4 onwards but the first season is probably one of the best run of TV shows ever made.

It's not the best thing ROH's ever done. I have watched alot of ROH and found this incredibly underwhelming and dissappointing after all the hype it's got.
