  1. Can you lot all stop being such a bunch of knobs and shut the fuck up with this childish cunty behavior? For some reason in Dream Warriors my favortie bit is the Edgar Allen Poe quote at the beginning. The girl who plays the "biker"-type chick is hot aswell. Also features Renee Zwellenegger(sp?) in her first notable role and she's really good. Also randomly has Laurence Fishburne in it (though he's pretty good too). I think this is probably the last time Freddy was genuinely scary too.

  2. I think This Is England is one of the most overrated films ever. It's short as hell, not paticularly entertaining and has nothing important or insightful to say despite it thinking and acting like it does. And the 11 year old main kid getting off with what looks like an 18 year old was so ridiculous I couldn't believe it. I love Dead Man's Shoes but this movie was pure bullshit.

  3. Just watched Gone Baby Gone. Ben Affleck's first movie and it's really fucking good. It stars his brother Casey(who turns in another great performance from The Assassination Of Jesse James) and features two always good actors Ed Harris and Morgan Freemon. The best performance is easily Amy Ryan (I always love seeing The Wire cast members getting work) who absolutely owns it. The basic plot is a little girl gets kidnapped from her bedroom and they go out to find her but it isn't as simple as that. It's a really great film pretty much from start to finish and doesn't spoon feed the audience any easy answers to the questions it raises. The ending will keep me thinking for a long time.

  4. Went and saw The Orphanage the other night.Awesome film. Thoroughly reccomended. And see it properly!! Either cinema, or if you're gonna d/l it then at least wait for a proper good copy to be available

Just to let people know, a DVD quality copy is out there on the net. That's how I saw it. Great film.
  5. Generico is a medium sized fish in a small pond who wont get any where else with his shitty comedy gimmick.

Generico is not a WWE style wrestler so apart from TNA(which I beleive have stated interest in signing him multiple times) where is there for him to go? He's been booked all around the world, booked in every big US indy, multiple tours with Dragon Gate and alot of high paid European tours. There's not much else he can really do. No matter what his gimmick he wouldn't fit in WWE so why should he get rid of it? His gimmick is really great, a breath of fresh air from all the super serious wrestlers out there and he gives it alot of depth and humour.
  6. Generico is pretty good these days. Generally has good matches, a few opponents bring out the very best in him. The bush league gimmick holds him back though.

Generico has consistently been having great matches since 2005. One of the few guys out there whose matches almost always entertain. And the gimmick makes him so loveable to take it away would be career suicide.
  7. I saw The Mist yesterday. It was okay, there was a better movie in there somewhere. The acting was pretty poor allround and the cg for the monsters was pretty piss-poor for todays standards in my book. Isn't it weird how the special effects in Starship Troopers and Jurrassic Park are better than 99% of movies today despite both movies being about a decade old? Anyways, the ending of this movie was supposed to be extremely emotional and dramatic but I found it completely laughable.

  8. After not watching any films for months this week I have been on a movie watching rampage and haven't seen a bad one yet. Sice I watched Rec and The Orphanage last Sunday I have seen:There Will Be BloodThis is movie is really fucking good. Not much of a plot to speak off, just watching the main characters wickedness, greed and hatred develop over 2 hours 40 minutes. Daniel Day Lewis is excellent and really deserved the Oscar. The final scene is spectacular and features some of the best writing and acting I have seen in years.StardustThis is movie is just a shit load of fun. I can't say a bad word about it. To sum it up perfectly, it's just fun. Watching it was a joy and I had a big grin on my face the whole time. The FountainThis is actually the second time I have seen it. First time I enjoyed it but was expecting the plot to round up the story but second time around as I knew what to expect I enjoyed it a million times more. Visually it's incredible and Hugh Jackman is one of the most underrated actors around. The music is also sublime.Eastern PromisesThis is great. Much better than the shitty overrated A History Of Violence. Viggo completely dissappears in his role. Also features one of the best fight scenes in movie history. One complaint though is when one character goes to a Arsenal/Chelsea match and the producers couldn't be fucked to pay to use the actual team logos so all the fans are just wearing blank red and blue t-shirts.The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert FordIt took me awhile to get into this but by the end I loved it. The actual assassination itself is brilliantly done and the aftermath is really great stuff. Pitt and Affleck are both spectacular in this. Affleck is great as this pathetic, weakling of a man that you almost feel sorry for him and Pitt is always great at playing characters with insane tendencies and he is excellent in this. Highly recommended. Oh and I loved the score too. Someone hook me up with a download of the films main themes please. :)

  9. I watched The Orphange last night. 'Twas bloody good, scary as shit in more than a few places, the ending was a bit predictable and cheesy but thumbs up all round. There's an absolutely terrifying sequence based on the "what time is it Mr. wolf?" game which deserves to be on every top scary movie moments list.

  10. I just watched [REC]. The basic plot is a TV crew is filming a documentary on firemen, they go out to a call and end up being trapped in an apartment building filled with zombies. Similar to Cloverfield but I enjoyed it alot more than that movie. It's really fucking balls-to-the-wall hardcore stuff and scary as hell. Great performances, direction and really memorable. Highly recommended.I also watched Planet Terror last week and really enjoyed it. Not a brilliant film but it's not supposed to be. I found it hilarious fun and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good 90 minute movie to have a ton of fun with and not worrying about anything serious. After I have my dinner I am going to watch The Orphane so expect thoughts on that later.

  11. Eddie Kingston may make me actually buy a ROH DVD. The man is easily my favorite wrestler around today. I hope they don't bring in the BLk Out though, he'd do much better on his own. Plus, ROH's stable wars fued is hella' gay, I'd hate for him to get lost in the shuffle.
