  1. I found it quite dull, pointless and not disturbing in the least.

It was one of those movies that for me, when I ifnished it, didn't feel anything. I wasn't even sure if I had even watched a proper complete movie, the film was just there...nothing more, nothing less. I didn't care about the kids getting killed, I didn't care about the killer...I just didn't care about anything in it at all.

The random crazy killer thing has been done a hundred times before and better than this and the psychological horror aspect has too.

Plus, the whole "main character finds the killers personal stash of previous victims" thing is so cliche.

I think my biggest problem was the lack of any backstory to the killer other than "he's crazy". I don't ask for much when it comes to psychopathic murderers backstories and motives, believe me, but I need something no matter how little.

  2. Eddie Kingston is a good colour commentator with the potential to be a great one. He need to work on a few minor things but he is great at getting over fueds and stories which is surely the colour commentators main purpose. With some work to make him smoother and more proffessional I think him and Dave Prazak would be perfect for TNA.

I'm not sure about how Kingston talking about fucking underage girls would go over on National TV.
That's why I said he needed work. Hence me saying "more proffessional".

  4. It was great how you never understood why, what and when about his character, Sy, but you ended up feeling sorry for him anyway.

*spoiler*It's pretty strongly hinted at that he was sexually abused as a child and it involved photos being taken. I think that explains the why, what and when of his character completely.
  5. Bram Stoker's DraculaA huge big budget film based on the original book. Quite interesting and a great cast with Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder especially good. Keanu Reeves sucks out all the life out of every single scene he's in. Didn't find it that great as the story was very choppy and didn't hold much of my attention. Great looking though.

They actually change alot of stuff from the original book. Like the whole, she falls in love with Dracula plot that drives the entire film is not in the book. In the scene in the movie where she is willingly drinking Dracula's blood so that she can be undead with him forever...yeah, in the book Dracula sneaks into her room and forces her into drinking his blood while she begs God to save her.
I read somewhere that it went back to the original source material and based the film on that (that being the book) and didn't just revamp the more well known Dracula tale, I haven't read the book mind so I guess you're right.
There are certain aspects of the movie that are identical to the book. Likewhen Keanu Reeves character (woteva his name is) is caught in the tower is exactly like the book and the same with Daisy turning into a vampire and the insanity of Mr. Renfield. But the love story is not in the book. The book ends with Dracula dead and everyone happy about it.

  7. Requim for a DreamWow, Wow, Wow, Wow. Incredible. The story is based on four connected people from Brooklyn who each have a different addiction or dependency. All four characters are touching, shocking and realistic. You feel what they feel as the characters go through their spiralling addictions and the ending of the film reaches a heartstopping climax. Brilliant.10/10

I thought it was okay.I don't think it's heartstopping, what's going to happen to the characters is obvious. The message of the story is very weak and while it's worth a watch it isn't unmissable.
  8. Jason takes Manhattan is the biggest lie in movie history. He's only in Manhattan for about 10 minutes. But ~~~~ for the boxing scene.Though I do have a soft spot for all the Jason films, they make me laugh more than any comedy. The horrible dialouge, retarded attempts at "cool kids" and the jokes are so shit they are funny and everything is ridiculous and the kills are fantastic (even in the later movies where alot of the violence is cut).Though chapter 4 the New Beginning is probably my favorite, it has made me laugh more than every Mel Brooks film combined.
