  1. I'll be completely honest i was in the pub having some dinner and i watched Colby and Usman go back and forth on the espn post fight show and i out loud said what a fucking dick Colby is for what he just said to Usman.

I'm all for gimmicks, I'm all for pushing the boundaries to get attention/build fights but what he said was straight up racist and that is not only unacceptable but i feel abit disappointed the UFC & Dana are happy to let one of there top guys go out and make such comments

  2. well what a main card that was, It really lived up to alot of the hype maybe bar the main event but i really did enjoy this one.

    Colby Covington vs Tyron Woodley

It was a solid main event showing for Colby he absolutely dominated the fight making Woodley look several classes below him and thats me saying this not a fan of Colby at all. I think Tyron was beat at the end of the third and was begging for a way out. Dana has said he thinks Woodley is done now, I don't disagree and could see the news of him being let go coming very soon

    Donald Cerrone vs Niko Price

I was really routing for cowboy in this one even though it was tough cos i do like Niko. Price nearly finished it in the first round and cowboy looked seriously rattled and abit deflated tbh. Dana has said he needs to have the talk with Donald which is tough to hear but i really do think he is done and needs to have someone say no more as we all know Cowboy will fight to the grave.

I do not agree with the decision 1 bit i thought Price absolutely did enough to get the first 2 rounds, Round 3 was abit more split and Donald was abit busier during but i was genuinely shocked when it came out it was a draw. Even with the point deduction for the eye poke i thought Price was absolutely dominant in the first 2

    Khamzat Chimaev vs Gerald Meerschaert

WOW!! i mean i was on the hype train for Khamzat anyway but that was utterly ridiculous. 17 seconds 1 PUNCH making any one of the doubters out there sit down and say okay this guy is not messing around at all. Dana has said he had alot of scrambling to do before going to fight island today as they are going to get him fighting again on a card over there and i couldn't agree with that more, He wants to fight, he is taking 0 damage and his stock is rising rapidly in such a short period. Love him or hate him you cannot argue for 1 second that this guy is not next level impressive

    Johnny Walker vs Ryan Spann

I really wanted walker to win with a big KO and boy did he. loved this fight it really set the bar in terms of what you want in a mma scrap on a main card

    Mackenzie Dern vs Randa Markos

I am not a fan of women's fights normally bar Nunes and a small set of other fighters but i really was into this one and the impressive submission victory really had me sit up and get excited.

    Kevin Holland vs Darren Stewart

Great scrap to open the main card, i thought the judges gave it to the right man in Kevin Holland and im excited too see what's next for him

All in All a very very good fight night card and it's going to be tough to beat this one next week however i do think it has the potential to be a more explosive card, I have missed being excited for a ufc card and coming away happy and excited for the future for a number of fighters on it.

  3. so yeah it looks like we are going to get the rematch between masvidal and diaz to kick off 2021, Dana is saying he is game for letting it be for the BMF belt too (which he absolutely swore was 1 and done but it makes sense tbh)

As a huge Jorge fan i have to say everything rests on this fight for him he really needs to get a big explosive win to continue his rise as the next McGregor figure for the UFC

    Class Action Park (2020)

I would never have known about this if it wasn't for @Egg Shen's post looking for a copy.  The documentary traces the history of Action Park, based in Vernon, NC, which was the brainchild of Gene Mulvihill.  It was without question of its time, primarily a water park marketed on anything goes and a place where there are no rules, there is not a chance it would pass any of the health and safety measures if it was opening in 2020.  The rides were created out of Gene’s mind or by designers who had been turned away by the likes of Disney World.  And its safe to say every one of them was an accident waiting to happen.  Numerous people would get injured on a daily basis, and the injuries were seen almost as a badge of honour, and then there was a fatality.  It’s all a bit jokey until you here from Esther Larsson, the mother of Gary, the first person to die at the Park.  Mulvihill, who had some shady practices to say the least, even tried to cover that up by lying about the details.  Other deaths followed (two drownings and an electrocution) and as times changes, the “World’s Most Dangerous Water Park” shut up shop for good in 1996.  Comedian Chris Gethard, one of the talking heads, is especially annoying.

Johnny knoxville made a jackass stunt style film which was a biopic on action park. it was funny and knoxville walked out with some major serious injuries but the park was a nightmare/accident waiting to happen and often it did. I'm downloading this one to watch tonight i expect it to be fascinating

  5. i would love too see lesnar vs jones finish out 2020 in a big fashion....... you have to imagine uncle dana is on the phone throwing an unholy amount of money at the beast to comeback before it's too late....

Lesnar vs Ngannou , Lesnar vs blades.......even though i don't want to see it Lesnar vs lewis

It won't happen, but I would love it if the Krav MAGA poster boy started losing only to black fighters, starting with Woodley. Unfortunately, I think the analysis is right. Woodley's on his way out, and it seems with a whimper rather than a bang, which is not something such a fighter deserves.

Hope Gane keeps this run going, too. An undefeated HW is a rarity; it's why I was in two minds about Ngannou and Rozenstruik. Not that it matters too much, but it's nice to have.

Always good to see the madman that is Johnny Walker on a card. I really hope he can put a collection together, but it doesn't look likely with his style.

That Miguel Baeza intrigues me, like most undefeated guys. "Caramel Thunder" just sounds like the worst pornstar name ever though.

BTW, something shocked me: I don't remember any of the Cerrone/McGregor thing - it doesn't feel at all like McG has fought recently, like he's just been a sideline character for years now. I don't remember the build-up, the fight, the aftermath, anything. Worrying gap in my memory. Fairly sure I'd have kept up with it at the time.

Yeah they did 0 hype or build up for the McGregor/Cowboy show and just relied on Conors name and drawing power for it. I remember being so excited for the press conference because it would be Conor back doing what he does best which is talk shit and get the world excited to see the fight and it just ended up being a really dull guy love session where they both talked about the respect they had for each other ext.

It really is such a shame with how the McGregor career/story has panned out because he went from being the most dedicated/exciting fighter in MMA, changing the landscape of the sport and becoming a global mega star and household name into someone that completely morphed into a guy that cared more about feeding his ego and cocaine instead of absolutely solidifying himself as the biggest and best fighter in the sport he always claimed to live and breathe.

It was because Brock moving over from the WWE back in the day and Connor McGregor why MMA is my absolute favourite sport in the world now but i stopped being the huge fan and caring or being excited about him after he beat cowboy in the fashion he did only too walk away yet again and show he dosen't really care about the UFC anymore apart from a one off multi-million payday every couple of years or so

(sorry for the long reply i was having this same discussion with a friend a couple of days ago haha)

  7. I have been lucky enough to get the email that i've been chosen to be a part of smackdown tonight and get a seat in the thunderdome.

I've honestly not watched wwe properly in years tbh i just applied cos i saw it on twitter and thought i never get lucky with anything like this but in for a penny.

The rules and guidelines ext for it are so extensive and long winded it's a task to read through it all but i suppose after some dick showing a beheading last week during summerslam its understandable isn't it

  8. Mine has to be USMAN vs MASVIDAL.....

I had such high hopes for this one as did everyone else and it just ended up as a boring clintch match which let's face it is smart to win the fight but never going to win you fans and respect from your peers ext. I can't remember a fight without McGregor i was that excited for and i walked away from it so bummed out it almost hurt.

  9. I think personally the rise of jorge has been fantastic to watch, it feels like the birth of a new Conor like superstar and i can't say enough how much that excites me in the sport i love so much.

I think next it should be either Nate or the Conor fight Dana knows that is the mega bucks fight right now and i believe he will offer a truckload of cash to both men to make it happen.

I don't think the Edwards fight would benefit masvidal right now, it's way more beneficial for Edwards

    oh aye, good spot Kfogg.

As much as it'll be good to see, it still isnt ideal, Masvidal stepping in on a weeks notice to fight Usman is probably not a wise move. Id assume Masvidal is in decent nick because he was negotiated to fight him originally, but i wouldnt favour many people against Usman unless fully prepared.

Any other person in this position i would agree but i genuinely think Masvidal will have been training for this fight as i just read this was originally supposed to be the main event for this ppv anyway then the whole money thing came up. Jorge Isn't a stupid guy by any means, he wouldn't offer to step up and fight if he didn't think he was ready, as we all know you can get 1 title shot and that's your lot for ages. He wouldn't squander that i genuinely believe that

Had the global Coronavirus pandemic not occurred it would be interesting to see how this would have played out this month. You had WWE NXT:UK running in Glasgow at Braehead Arena the same weekend as ICW was to run Shugs House Party at the O2 Academy. I'm guessing the landscape of that weekend would be pretty different from the speaking out movement.

Would there be fans snubbing ICW? Would the promotion take a serious stance and not be shying away from everything. How would WWE be handling this with having a relationship with ICW? Would Uncle Paul be walking away from it?

ICW is already in serious decline following their more family friendly product u-turn thanks to all the promises in the world by trips and nxt-uk. Only for wwe to run against them on one of their biggest weekends.

i know we all just shrug it off and say its just Vince innit but some  stuff this company does is beyond scummy
