Your son having the most popular name for boys doesn’t exactly show your fandom either. Think out of the box next, like with my twin boys Dutch and Dylan

Well i have been a professional musician for 13 years and music is my entire life so my 2 boy's are called ollie and Chester.

In regards to the new bring me album being awful i couldn't disagree more. I think the last 2 releases have been so opposite too there previous stuff it just threw me and i didn't enjoy them. music to listen to - Amo - That's the spirit were just so radio 1 rock friendly and such a drop after their unbelievable album "sempiternal" it just really upset me the route they have been taking.  I will happily argue and stand by the fact this new EP is the best thing they have done for 5 years easy.

    guaranteed

There isn't a doubt in any true mma fan's mind that we will be paying too watch the Conor vs Dustin fight. With the almost certain fact they will change that fight to a title fight to fill the vacant strap that just insures if it wasn't going to be put on ppv before it DEFFO will be now.

That is the issue I have. If you had been watching, the outside the ring Randy has been decent. Really good heel work. But in the ring, it's the same thing we got over a decade ago. I just find him so bland and boring in the ring. They need to create new stars. Stick him and Keith Lee in a title match and you can count me interested.

I've been saying that about the main roster WWE for years now. They have got the best and most impressive roster in the entire wrestling industry overall. On that there is no argument that can be made by anyone. However they just seem so set in making the same mistakes again and again and putting their top belts on the most boring/uninspired talent on their payroll. What i can't understand and get my head around is the fact they have gone around and sucked up every wrestler that has shown anything in terms of ability or excitement but yet they choose to put the heavyweight belt on Randy Orton a guy that hasn't had a fantastic/show stealing match for about 15 years when they could very easily have chosen to put it on someone that has every chance of going out there and making the world watch/engage/talk.

Your not going to get anyone talking about how much everyone in the world needs to stop what they're doing and go out and watch the latest Orton main event now!

nah, this will be on regular BT. The American audience are gonna be asked to fork out $75 for it though.

Thank fuck for that, I will not be entertaining the idea of paying a extra 20 quid for a ppv outside of the Conor vs Dustin show which i would bet my house on them putting that one on BT sport box office.

the problem with Randy Orton is that he's (from what I've seen) been on top form for the last few months, and if it were anyone else he probably would be the right choice for champion. But we've watched Randy Orton on top form for a few months, then coasting for the next six, for years, so it feels utterly uninspired. He'd be better off falling into the John Cena role of having fun matches but staying away from the belt for the rest of his career, but they barely have a main event scene to speak of right now, so who else should they rely on?

It's also odd to have heel champions on both brands - though without house shows and ticket sales to worry about, I suppose that doesn't matter so much, and it's purely a creative issue. Unless this is a short term deal to get the belt eventually on to someone else, having two heel champions when the gimmick of the next PPV is to have them face each other feels like a mis-step, but also having two heel champions toward the end of the year feels like a set-up for two babyface chase storylines going on for Wrestlemania season.

I couldn't agree with you more and you have pretty much mirrored what i was trying to say previously. I haven't really liked Randy for a long long time, He is a boring/safe/complacent wrestler that doesn't exactly go out there and try to have 5 star matches. He is lucky most the time to scratch the 3 star level. I think if they were done with Drew as champ there are a tone of talent on there main roster they could pass it onto which keeps the interest/fresh feel alive and well.

Also the point you made about both top belts being held by a heel is a good/interesting point and another chance for the wwe to try and aim for those new/fresh storylines and babyfaces chasing the top titles. I think what they have been doing with Roman has been phenomenal and LOOK they had someone like jey uso someone who was barely a midcard tier guy have multiple main events with their champion and it not come off as boring or looking like they are short changing the fans.

Where do you even begin with this.

I do need to say here i haven't watched any full shows from WWE since mania. However i have watched bits and pieces and kept up with results and goings on so it's not like i've dropped out the loop and not paid attention at all.

  7. I am THE biggest fan of bring me the horizon ( my firstborn son is called ollie just to give you 1 example of how much of a fan i am)
So i have been fully invested in there recent releases on the road to this new EP out this week.
However, it has leaked and has been out there to find for the past 3 days or so and i am so happy/excited to say this EP is the best release they have done for about 5 years now.

The entire thing is a real throwback and nod to there heavier day's as a band. With the opener song "Dear diary" tearing your face off and has Oli screaming the entire way through.
The weakest track on the EP by a far margin is the final track with Amy Lee which although it is a beautiful song, It really is a huge contrast to the rest of the EP and end's the release on abit of a low note instead of ending on a massive high with a super fast/heavy song to close this first or three ep's they are planning to put out over the next year.

It has made it's way very high up if not at the top of my album's of the year (And even though this year has been so shit for the music industry thanks to Covid. The only good thing to actually come out of it all is the absolutely unbelievable albums/ep's/releases from bands)

I would give it a 8 and a half maybe 9 out of 10!! If you haven't yet checked it out my god you owe it to yourself to hear it

I do think they’ve been feeding him some shite but in fairness, and anyone who’s read my posts about Hardy will know I’m the last one to defend him, he is still fairly early into his career and there simply isn’t much quality outside the Top 5. But you can’t throw him at the Top 5 right away. Plus they did put him in there with Volkov on short notice. If they were trying to protect him that much they botched it big time there.

Yeah your absolutely right there. However look at what they are doing/have done with Khamzat he is still brand new and fairly unknown but he has a main event fight with leon edwards in December which is pretty much a do or die test for that guy and his chance to prove to the world if he really is the real deal or if it has been all talk.

With regards to Greg Hardy i understand they have this prospect coming in from another sport and they are looking at it in a different way and have played it completely the opposite and so annoyingly safe. I think that is going against Hardy and isn't helping getting people behind him or on board the train that Dana seems to be on.

Not gonna happen unfortunately. Maurice Greene is more of a BJJ guy. He’s never shown all that much in the way of dangerous striking. And he’s not looked the most explosive of takedown artists either in the fights I’ve seen. So we’re probably looking at one of those fights where it’s the grappler against the striker but the grappler can’t get the takedown. And you know what that means. Domestic Violence Gregory by KO.

Aside from the obvious interest in the main event, Bryce Mitchell and the Muradov vs Holland fight are where it’s at for me on the main card.

Fuck sake man. Dana and the UFC are playing it so safe with Hardy man, They are just feeding him opponents that is a relative easy day in the office for Hardy.

Miz has the MITB briefcase, Orton is World Champ. WWE going back to the glory days of 2010 I see.

That's pretty much what i said above. When they put the belt on drew it really felt like they were trying to take a step forward and into the new era with talent coming up. Orton has been dull as fuck for about 10 years now, How can they have thought that was what the company needed??!!

  11. I haven't watched this ppv (I haven't really watched any wwe bar wrestlemania) But am i right in thinking they have taken the belt off Drew and put it on Orton now?

Jesus Christ like i said i'm not a avid fan anymore but making the decision to put the title back on Orton who is dull as FUCK, Really feels like they have taken 3 steps forward and 10 steps back in terms of being fresh and exciting.

I understand the backlash considering its a PPV event, its basically 2 Fight Night title headliners packaged together to make it a PPV. The challengers are far from household names either, if Figueiredo/Garbrandt had stayed together people would have been way more forgiving.

Quality wise though its a cracking card.

Wait this isn't being put on box office over here is it. Because i do have a fucking problem if that is the case!!

  13. Like it's been pointed out above i have absolutely 0 idea how anyone can look at this card and have hate towards it.
From the midway on in the prelims to the entire main card it is a absolutely fucking cracking line up, With fights ranging from super exciting to moderately interesting.

I'm really excited to see Figgy go in there and defend the belt after his absolutely unbelievable outing to win the belt a few months back.

I think it's getting into the teritiory of people moaning and complaining about shows not having Fighters like Khabib/colby/issy level names topping the bill. Unfortunately when you as a company are running shows every single weekend for the past 7/8/9 months you simply don't have the top names at your disposal to headline shows

  14. Looking forward to this cheeky card as a Halloween treat. That main card looks fairly decent however it is going to be super sad to see Silva fight 1 last time.
At least were going into this show/fight knowing Anderson is retiring after it unlike last week where even the Khabib haters were punched right in the gut hearing him call it a day and hang up the gloves.

I really fucking hope THIS is the night we see Greg Hardy loose by a brutal KO......One can only dream right?

  15. That entire show absolutely delivered!! What an unbelievable way to end there latest stint on fight island!!

I will give my thoughts on the card as a whole tomorrow, What i will say now is i maybe not a fan of Khabib but i genuinely teared up during his post fight interview and hearing his retirement. He solidified his status as the GOAT and a future hall of famer.

Thank you for stepping in there one last time, you went out there and put on a truly unbelievable fight.

  16. I don't know if you have all seen, But there is some MAJOR controversy over Khabib not making weight and being over & the ufc covering it up.
If you watch Khabib weighing in the guy doing the scales is super shifty and moves the scales before anyone can look/comment.
On top of that i know it's been mentioned breifly above but Khabib looks incredibly angry/pissed off as he comes out, I know he isn't normally the life and soul of the party but even i watched and said too my missus he looks like he is being held there at gun point.

The prelims are never a part of the PPV. The £20 get you access to the 6 fight main card.

Yes they are, it's a 7 hour event and starts at 5pm on box office. & they have been heavily promoting the line up of the fight pass prelims on fight pass of course. Then the prelims on box office & main card on box office.

The prelims are fucking amazing for this card anyway so putting them out for free when you get them as part of the package when you fork out for the ppv is just abit of a kick in the dick. when do they EVER usually feel nice and put the prelims on youtube for free. They are normally on bt sports before the main card.

When this is one of the biggest ppv's of the year you can't charge extra for the fans to watch it then feel bad and stick the prelims (which are absolute fire, just like the main card) out for free

  18. 4 hours ago, Egg Shen said:

the BT Prelims are gonna be on youtube tomorrow too, handy if you dont have BT Sports on your TV or Fight Pass.

I'm sorry to sound like a little bitch here but FUCK BT sports for doing this. I have just paid £20 too get the prelims/main card which we normally get access for free over here as part of your BT sport package and they put the prelims on youtube for FREE. How can they justify doing that when they have been promoting it in a heavy way being on Box office for £20 for the past week

  19. I think that's a really good point. I haven't actually seen that Khabib is thinking about hanging the gloves up, However i think if Justin does pull out the victory it would be the perfect time for him to do it.

In terms of him winning i don't really belive there is anyone in the company that can show up and actually have the tools in order too beat him.
Like i've said even though i don't like him as a fighter, I wouldn't for a second try to argue the fact that he isn't a unbelievable fighter and isn't one of the GOATS within the company.

I think the problem you have with fighters such as Khabib when they are that tough and hold the belt is the division becomes really dull and stagnant at the top of the division because even though yeah you might get some unbelievable number 1 contender fights and great fights within the top 5 ranked but the problem lies where no matter who the number 1 contender is at that time you know they won't have a chance of getting the belt and that just creates a really boring/underwhelming scenario at the top.

Obviously you have to be an elite level fighter to become a champion within the ufc, but it's so much more fun and exciting when you have champions that do have weaknesses and because of that you get new stars coming through and getting the chance to make that leap to being THE guy in that division.

  20. I think that is an absolutely spot on point and one that everyone shouldn't forget. As much as i really do dislike Khabib, You cannot ever take away from the guy that he really is another level in this sport. I do feel Justin has the tools to really test him and bring home the win above anyone else in the company but you cannot and should never overlook the sheer power/talent that Khabib possesses.

I will be watching at the very edge of my seat and no doubt i will be shouting very loudly at my tv throughout

  21. So ive just taken the plunge and ordered it on box office. I suppose i can't be that stroppy about it as it's one of the biggest PPV of year with this main event.

I am absolutely going for Gaethje to take the win against Khabib...... I am not a Khabib fan at all and i think Justin really does have the tools to really bring the fight to him and possibly dare i say it get the KO victory......

It is also absolutely awesome the main card starts at 7:00pm ish our time which means i will be watching live. The main event should be starting around 10:30 here.

I really expected Khamzat to be put on the main card too as he's made the trip over there and was sat side by side with Uncle Dana this past weekend.
What are the chances of them finding him someone and sticking him on there now?

  22. I can't fucking belive this card is being put on bt sports box office over here. It's already so expensive to get sky with sky sports and bt sports to then have to pay an extra 20 quid for this card is absolutely devastating. I could easily wake up sunday morning and download it but i LOVE watching the UFC cards on a sunday morning on my tv. (It's literally the only thing i get to watch on the tv each week as my boy's take over for the rest of the time#0
