  1. I got a ps4 for Christmas (But my partner let me have it early so i've had it since early November) And I've just been smashing the Uncharted series.
I have completed 1/2 I wasn't that into the 3rd one I thought all the strong improvements they made in number 2 got scrapped for the 3rd for some reason.
However now i'm playing the 4th one and i can honestly say this might be the most fun I've ever had playing a video game. It's unbelievably addictive. The graphics/aim assist/Climbing & grappling physics have made sure this 4th game is by far the most complete and perfect package in the franchise.

  2. Wow i think as we all are right now shocked is an understatement. I just heard about his passing on youtube of all places and my heart sunk.
As its been mentioned by pretty much everyone i think Brody was a phenominal big man talent that for so many years in the WWE was under used and criminally underrated.

R.I.P and my thoughts and love go to his wife and 2 kids at this time

You shoehorned in a comment detailing association related to but not specifically on the topic, and to be fair I'd agree with you.

However coming so soon after you detailed an association with Russell Brand it's been picked up for a joke, and I'd suggest you try to take it I the good humour it was probably written in.

While I'm responding I assume outside 2020 it doesn't take 9 months to book an act for a gig?

Very rarely does it take anything close to 9 months to book a headliner for a show. The reason it's taken so long with Kunt is he retired but there was always the open door during our conversations where he said he would be coming back and doing live shows but it was down to when it felt right for him to do so. The longest it has taken me to book a headliner outside of this was either Mallory knox (took me around 4 and a half months to get the contract signed as they were in america recording there last album - And Cancer bats took me about 2 months and then there were further complications after we did sign and tickets went on sale as there management went back on there word/deal and that caused a giant headache)

Kfogg, Kunt and Russell Brand. I can’t wait to find out who’s name dropped next to join this Mount Rushmore.

Oh for fucks sake dude honestly??!! How is it a "name drop" when I'm talking about the person the thread is fucking dedicated too!!

What happened to the days when they used to play all the charts? Even Bruno Brookes had the balls to play Killing In The Name when it charted back in the early 90

apparently they completely skipped number 14-11/13-11. What is the point in putting in the amount of hard work and pure graft to try and get in the Christmas top 40 let alone get positioned from 15-2 only to either get missed out entirely in the show or like kunt did with 0 mainstream help or any of the usual bollocks we see normally in the Christmas top 10 get less than 6 seconds of airtime and he got all the way to number 5.

I know kunt and i've been talking to him for about 9/10 months about getting him for a show down here in Blackpool (before covid hit of course) And the guy is an absolute gent and pleasure to talk to. His music isn't made for the mainstream/top 40 audience but if a artist such as him actually gets where he has got on nothing else but his fanbase then he does deserve a tone of merit and respect but that's the world we live in now

the Jackson thing is weird but it could be a case of them owing him fights? Whatever, Dean Barry seems to have got himself a bit of a soft touch for a UFC debut because Jackson doesn't seem to be anywhere near UFC calibre.

Did Jackson even embarass himself? i thought it was more a case of Dana being upset that Jackson had prolonged Punk being in the octagon instead of just getting rid of him.

I would argue he defiantly embarrassed himself. He has trained and aspired to be a UFC fighter for i'm guessing a good number of years. He goes in there with the worst excuse of a "fighter" I would argue we have ever seen high up on a main UFC PPV and he showboated to the crowd way more times than he did attempt to finish the fight. Like i said that sort of thing would normally just be cringy and MMA fans would just think what a cunt. However this is a one of sort of situation where another WWE wrestler is making the jump to MMA but unlike Brock has 0 training or history in anything that would help you in this sport. Punk was put high on the PPV for the only reason that pro wrestling fans will buy the PPV and watch there guy against this nobody. Jackson was handed a unbelievable gold dust opportunity on a plate and he fucked it up for himself and made the sport (to some people i need to stress) look like a joke

  8. I'm surprised it's not been discussed before now but not for 1 single second can i get my head around the reason Dana has put Mike Jackson on this show after he went in there against CM punk and embarrassed himself and the sport (As alot of none MMA fans were tuning in to watch punks fight) In the post fight presser Dana clearly said he will never be seen in the UFC again and we all watched and unanimously said "yeah alright that makes sense"

What makes it even more confusing is they are about to do a mass firing session from now until Jan-Feb because the roster is so full yet he gets allowed back in.

  9. we got told horror stories yesterday about how bad ASDA was so we went at 3pm to do our Christmas shop and i was dreading it. HOWEVER there was no que when we went in although we did spend 2 hours in there and spent 180 quid it was relatively painless.

A very merry Christmas to you all from myself my partner and my boys!!!

  10. I've seen so many people over Twitter and Facebook make a pretty good point by saying does no one think it's funny/weird that this Virus has mutated and we have another strain of covid 2 weeks after they roll out the vaccine? I mean it could come down to conspiracy theories and that bullshit but it does certainly make you wonder.

Another thing i've read on mass is the small amount of trust and faith the mass had in Boris and the government has completely gone out the window now when they said weeks ago we have made the decision to put you back into lockdown so you can have 5 days of Christmas to spend with your family and loved ones after the year from hell, Only for them to pull the rug on it a week before changing it to only mixing for 1 day only. The amount of key workers that have come out and said thanks for that, we have worked our arses off for you and we are set to work Christmas eve and day and now your saying we can't see out families on boxing day or whatever is outstanding. Like i say the little respect they did have has completely gone now and the majority of people will be seeing there families within the original time frame dangled in front of us.

Also Dana: We’re sacking 60 fighters. Merry Christmas.

I thought we would have started to see at least the start of this huge clear out there claiming to be doing by January but nothing really bar the ones we have known about for a couple of weeks which leads me to think (And i could be wrong and speaking to early on this) Dana and the UFC have got abit of a heart and aren't going to show 60+ fighters the door and there P45 on the way out just before Christmas. There are going to be a few fighters that will be shaking like a shitting dog every time the phone goes off but i do agree with why there doing it they have over 600 fighters on the roster man

    Nunes/Anderson re-booked...

Yeah i saw this on twitter yesterday but i don't think it was totally official so i thought i would wait and see. Getting to see Nunes is always going to be a highlight in my year and i think with her having her new addition in her family & the fact she has completely annihilated 2 whole divisions leaves me to accept the fact we may soon see her take a big step back which upsets me but she is far from the fighter that comes in to pick up a cheque and not care about her work. If there is no challenges left for her i can honestly see 2021 maybe being her last year at least as a full time member of the roster anyways.

  13. Man the one thing I'm taking from the UFC from this year is the unfortunate fact that they have this tendency to have a fantastic show from front to back then the following week or two they have shows like this that are really hard to get through and just don't get close to the level of the week before. This show ended up being fucking decision city and the Judges really did have a full night of work on their hands as pretty much 90% of the fights ended up going to the judges decision which just ended up being so boring and meh.

I did however get the Christmas present i wanted which was to finally see that prick Greg Hardy get finished by KO however even that fight was slightly tainted in my eyes which i'll come to bellow.

    Wonderboy Thompson vs Geoff Neal
Jesus Christ man Wonderboy went in there and showed the world that he was a completely different level to Geoff Neal. Neal through everything he could but just got nothing but heavy combos in return and Thompson really did look impressive in there, However man during the covid era i think we have all struggled with the commentary at times but for me this fight really did piss me off royally with the commentary. Thompson was showing his fantastic skills in there and all the commentary would do for the majority of rounds would harp on about how Neal is still dangerous and could finish it all with one punch.....Now i get you have to hype up the fighters in there so saying that once in the first round maybe yeah i get it.......But again and again when he's clearly not getting anything strong against wonderboy just came off as irritating and stupid. That being said great victory for Thompson and he is continuing on his title run going into 2021

    Jose Aldo vs Marlon Vera
I know what everyone was saying going into this one that Aldo had to get a win otherwise he would be a sure cut for the UFC going into there mass clear out but i really don't think he put in a strong enough showing to put him in the safe zone. I think once again he looked like a shadow of his former self and in comparison to the fighter that was played in the pre fight video package he looked way older, way slower and shouldn't be doing it anymore in my opinion. He walks away with the Judges decision is it enough to keep him under contract, I guess we will see??

    Michel Pereira vs Khaos Williams
I always do this man i LOVE Pereira, I think he's such a showman and i am one of the ones that loves his flashy/flippy stuff so i was hyped to see his name but then i was slightly worried because Khaos is a beast man and can knock you into next millennium. Once again it went to the judges and definitely the right man won but by this point i was so sick of it going to the judges i was just bummed we didn't get a decisive win from either man.

    Marlon Moraes vs Rob Font
Man this was probably my fight of the night close second is the main event. I think the commentary were absolutely on the mark by saying Moraes just came off a loss and that can really effect some fighters, Marlon went in there and tried to take it to the ground but rob rode the wave and walked out with a huge knock out win quite possibly pushing him way up the rankings as a result.

    Marcin Tybura vs Greg Hardy
As i've said above and a couple of days ago in this thread i was all game too finally see ANYONE go in there and knock Hardy out. There are so many reasons i despise Greg Hardy and one of those reasons plays into Tybura's win. I think in the first round Hardy really tried to do the only thing he can do in that cage which was go forward with his power and try to get the knock out, There were a couple of times in that first round i was watching through my fingers because i thought SHIT he is going to do it again isn't he........Then the second round happened and Marcin went in there and he had pretty much taken everything Hardy could throw at him and Hardy being the total one dimensional fighter he is put all his cards flat on the table and Marcin made the smartest decision by getting the take down as Hardy pretty much has 0 ground game........This is where i got mixed feelings of total happiness someone finally knocked the prick out and fury. Tybura didn't knock him out......Hardy gave up and heard the ref say fight back or do something and just took the loss. I think it was Bisping that said all Hardy had to do was move his knee and push off to get some distance and try and stand back up but he didn't have a clue. He was gassed out and just lay there and didn't try to protect himself or fight forward. So yeah a mix of pure elation and genuine anger because once again he gets put on the main card and Pettis is put on the prelims and it really should be the other way round.

Apart from Pettis on the prelims there really isn't anything i would say go and watch as pretty much the entire undercard went to the judges. With it being the final show of the year and coming off the back of last weeks amazing PPV you really do want it to go out with a bang to put the final stamp on a truly wank year but unfortunately this show didn't do that at all but that's it now onwards and upwards to 2021!!!

Copy and pasted from a newz site (TPWW.net). I genuinely can't think of anything worse to be honest. It's all getting SO convoluted. A development for development? Huh?

    ---------------------------------------

WrestlingInc.com reported that WWE officials have been in talks regarding potential plans for another new weekly series under the NXT brand that is unrelated to their current NXT India plans. This report was later confirmed by the Wrestling Observer to be true.

It was reported that Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently assembled a team to oversee this new potential show, which is currently being led by former EVOLVE co-founder Gabe Sapolsky.

This new weekly show reportedly would focus primarily on WWE’s developmental talent who are not on the main NXT roster and act as a minor league system for WWE’s main NXT brand. This was descried by a source to be an “NXT for NXT.”

There are a couple of sides of this argument you can easily sit on. Firstly yes it looks like it's yet more content there looking to make which will be essentially developmental for the developmental which is really dumb and when will it stop. Secondly with all the fucking talent they are just stockpiling and doing nothing with i suppose this will give them something to do, Meaning there used and able to get themselves out there and see how they do and grow etc etc. But the argument for that is if the talent put on this new show aren't good enough for the NXT brand then why should we be that bothered about them Your just expecting us to watch just because it's dangling the carrot of essentially another INDY style brand under the WWE banner.

  15. I genuinely had no idea until i just read your post with the running order on it that Greg Hardy is fighting again tonight.
While i now sit and hope that the Christmas present i get is finally seeing Hardy get knocked the fuck out, I've set myself up for this situation many times and just ended up sad and disappointed so we will have to see.

That main card though is stacked, This should be a good one

    Uh... what?

Get him to post a pic of a chippy tea.

Yeah it really was an incredibly amazing and touching turn of events but the really long story short is i've been a huge fan and he is one of my idols and someone i look up to for over 10 years now. He did a charity zoom call raising money for one trust charity (a food bank charity near him) and out of the 209 people on the call i was one of the lucky 7/8 people that got to speak to him and ask him a question. I wanted to ask him if he could offer any coping strategies with my mental health but i got really choked up and ended up sharing abit of my personal story and he got interested and wanted to know more about me. He told me on a Wednesday he attends a meeting in person which is also held over zoom and gave me his email address privately on zoom and said he wanted me to go with him. I did and later on that evening his assistant emailed me saying Russell wanted to pass on his number too me so we could chat and keep in touch. There is alot more to the story but i have kept it as short as humanly possible.

I know it's pretty much a given on this forum that no one is aloud to have a personal opinion or now it seems something they can be and should be extremely proud of however not once while i was typing it out did i have a smirk on my face thinking i was bragging about it. It has turned out to be something that is really life changing and it's not very often i can look at something that has happened within my life and think how lucky i am but this is one of those situations.

Jesus Christ that really does not come off as it is does it. What i meant by that was we have to do the sex offenders training session as with red rose recovery you work with all sorts of people that have in some cases very serious pasts and it's not really a regular occurrence you have such characters coming to your group, However the training is needed so you can cope/deal with it the right way.

Many of the volunteers with Red Rose are victims of abuse in all avenues of abuse so we need the training for it.

  18. There are a few things I'm really looking forward to next year (which i think is the first time I've said that going into Christmas and a new year in a long time so that's a positive itself)

    1. Looking forward to gigs/live shows coming back - I've got a stacked year already with Bowling for soup in Blackpool, My chemical romance in MK, Bring me the horizon in Sheffield, Our hollow our home/Chuggaboom in Manchester & many more. Music is pretty much my entire life and going to live shows in person really does give me that release from the outside world and my mental health so this year has been incredibly hard but I'm remaining optimistic about them next year.

    2. Going down to London to go physically to one of the recovery groups i currently attend on a Wednesday over zoom and also on that trip going round to Russell brand's house for dinner and hang out. I became personal friends with Russell about a month ago in a freak/crazy way and we now text multiple times through the week and he is really helping me with my mental health and recovery

    3. Going full steam ahead with my volunteer work with red rose recovery and start up running the face to face mental health groups again here in St Anne's. I have been going through my training every Saturday for the past 6 weeks and were slowly coming to the tail end of it now with a few weeks to go then I've got another short course on sex offenders and then i will be fully badged up and a full fledged volunteer for the charity which is incredibly exciting and something that has kept me really focused and driven with my mental health and recovery also.

    4. Hopefully (touch wood and crossing everything i possibly can) Myself and my beautiful fiancé can finally start to plan our wedding and tie the knot before the end of next year. We started doing a small bit of planning and whatnot with it before the first lockdown which we were set to attend a wedding fair in St Anne's but lockdown happened and that got postponed until next year so yeah all things going well we can finally get married.

    5. get our youngest son Chester christened. We got Ollie christened when he was around 14/15 months and wanted to do the same with Chester but obviously as the world shut down and human contact became few and far between it wasn't possible so yeah that's also something quite exciting and for us to look forward to as a family

I've seen some next level cunts in and around the fight industry over the years but this prick may very well be top of the list after this video

Am I the only one who thought that Figueiredo won that fight quite definitively? Without the point deduction for that ridiculous low blow it would have been a win for the champ and he'd have moved on to the next challenge.

I don't think Moreno is big enough to cause much damage in the rematch to be honest, and think he took a whole ton of punishment that he's not going to want to take too many more times.

I think Figgy Smalls stops him in the rematch.

I do have to agree i think round 3 could have been argued either way really but the low blow and point deduction absolutely swung it for Moreno.
I dunno though dude i think with a full fight camp for both of them and going in there for the full 5 rounds so they know what to work on i think the rematch could either be even bigger fireworks than this one or a total domination.
