  1. 13 hours ago, Dead Mike said:

3am start at the new arena that isn't even in the city centre & is charging £9 a pint. I dread to think how much cocaine is gonna be consumed inside. I was planning on going when I thought it might be at the MEN & at a decent hour.

Hahahaha mate I fucking said exactly the same to my missus. The amount of coked up maniacs bouncing around town after seeing Leon and tom defend ready to put there heads through Windows will be something worth documenting for future generations.

Imagine being the police a hour after the pricks filter out from the clubs closing what's that rumble thousands of fucking MMA fans with more confidence and classes in there systems to put the town to shame

  2. I've just gone from stupid levels of excitement to absolute shock and disbelief. They admit we are long long overdue a major UFC ppv here in the UK, they finally move out of London and bring it to us in Manchester......

The top two fights will be Leon Edwards and Tommy fucking aspinall defending their belts on home soil......

But it's still happening at American start times meaning the main card will start at fucking 3 in the morning and won't finish and us fans leave the building for at least 6 in the morning on a fucking Sunday which is the worst day to travel. I truly can't understand this decision it won't impact sales not slightly but the city and now normal patrol with police and whatnot who are outside the arena after shows for obvious reasons post Saturday night logistically seems gigantic

  3. Well I genuinely cannot believe it but they fucking delivered and pretty much every fight was fucking great bar two I think that were fairly slow and sluggish but they just stuck out because of how intense the rest of the fights were.

Fight of the fucking year is going to Holloway Vs Justin hands down no fucking chance is it being beaten.

The main event went exactly how I predicted with periera going full fucking gangster mode getting a huge dick kick not selling it at all waving the ref off and then knocking Jamal Hill into the twelth row was a masterclass and so gangster.

This show isn't being beaten both in terms of the entire show being massive and how they went on the night I seriously don't see them topping it but what a fantastic time to be a MMA fan jesus.

We got announced Dustin Vs Islam main eventing UFC 302 which is deserved but I believe will be Dustin's last fight before retiring afterwards

And the main event we all expected for UFC 303 Michael chandler Vs Conor McGregor which I'm saying chandler is winning and will be the final time we see Conor in the UFC cage I'm convinced he's already pretty much fucked off anyway so this won't shock anyone really

Bring on UFC 301 in may baby

  4. I'm with everyone else and clueless what they thought they would achieve by doing it and there not cool and edgy they have tried to tie it to the current feud with FTR but it had no connection they just wanted to fire back at punk for having his say on the hillwani podcast which I think he came off really well and reluctantly spoke about it not to carry it on but to put it to bed so every time he does media it's not brought up anymore.

Neither one of them came off great,I think it's also pretty convenient they had the footage perfectly there but no audio so you can't hear the conversation and lead up to the end scuffle which I think is kinda important but not seen it being mentioned but it's probably not going to change or clear either of any wrong doing so I hope it's fucking out there system and they can move on

  5. Seriously what a unbeatable two weeks we're getting, seriously so good it's not even funny. I need a couple of days to recover and come down after mania week and then get properly excited and hyped for this one.

We won't get a super card like this until 2029 maybe probably longer for UFC 400 but this one is just silly packed and the fight fans are being spoiled with this card.

  6. Jesus Christ they really did deliver a monumental set of show's that in my opinion felt like a new era and everyone also pushed this fact throughout both nights so the backstage feels it too.

Night 1 I watched live and really enjoyed it for the most part. I am so fucking disappointed with Jimmy Vs jay after it being there all time dream and that was what they did Blow's my mind such a letdown from both.

Main event night 1 was fantastic throughout and delivered from all 4 involved and it was contained to just those 4 no other bloodline involvement which was a great decision with the obvious side winning no one in the world belived Cody and Seth would win but it still had so much drama and ease to forget that and suspend disbelief.

Night 2 though was fucking perfect

I said week's ago we would finally get a successful cash in from priest and fucking hell it was done absolutely perfectly with drew getting that win and nod for what should have been during the pandemic but his own actions were his instant downfall with priest cashing in and I literally woke everyone up in my house and my neighbours when it happened lol sorry.....

The main event was so fucking good and Roman instantly looked like he was more aggressive and getting this win and shutting Cody and the fans up for good was very important and vital for him and the entire match wasn't another paint by numbers Roman match which was needed but refreshing after four and a half years as champion and main eventing . The finish though was a perfect example in the modern era of a real life reaction and emotional response from both Cody himself but the fans and guys in the back also. It wasn't another title change and babyface win for the main event at mania and send the fans home happy mentality and ideology this was real and over 70 thousand people invented and caring about this so fucking passionately and that has been absent in the WWE for a long time

I fucking hope they capitalize and continue this fantastic run because I am so proud to say I'm a wrestling fan once again and not ashamed I cried for twenty minutes after the Cody Rhodes win because I fucking love this and care and that's all down to them and the work they have done to get this response and passion for the company again.

One of the best mania's of all time in my opinion just phenomenal work and tonight raw will be very exciting

  7. Once again this isn't a bad fight by any means but it's not a main event. I really think they need to cut back on the amount of cards each year even if it's by ten let's just say. I don't think it will necessarily be a negative decision to the overall product and quality of all their shows

  8. Watching live now jesus Christ I love early fight cards for us they are always so much more enjoyable.

So far everyone has come to get a finish and it's been a good card so far. Very very excited for the entire card thus far has showed up and been great

  9. Jesus christ that is scary it does not feel 20 years ago shit.
I absolutely loved the wrestling channel and it opened up so much for me personally within the wrestling world from TNA, CMLL, CZW even a tiny bit of world of sport although that really wasn't for me personally but i watched bits. The supercard special they had every week was absolutely phenomenal while they lasted. We eventually had them repeated for weeks on end before getting a new one but it was so cool when we got them.

  10. Genuinely cannot believe this one. The Vince era is truly over and behind us because he would never do something like this.

I know that Steph and Brett are friends but I didn't see this on the cards but it could be really interesting and good all round if they don't dictate and demand too much. Could this be a regular thing going forward I really don't know but this is another clear situation showing things are changing from how it was before

  11. I cannot agree and have been saying the same for over a year now. They need to flat out stop trying to push and create a new Conor McGregor because it isn't going to happen. Conor happened because of the right time and shit. Create new star's we all love that and want them but you start talking about them being the next Conor or making those companions and instantly make so much push back and shit for the fighter.

Conor became so big because it happened organically and naturally you fail instantly when you are pushing someone down our throats and telling us it's what we want and need.

  12. I'm really surprised too read you guys saying you found it flat, I completely disagree and had the opposite. I think it set the bar for 300.

The main card really showed a great varieties, the debut of MVP really delivered, Dustin going for a new drinking game with take a shot every gueatine, the main event holy fuck how chito didn't get rocked is inhuman, that knee and the fucking sound of It was brutal.

The only fight that bored us was the women's fight apart from that it was a truly great night

  13. I absolutely agree that you saw for whatever reason in the first round he looked completely different to the fury fight and just couldn't get going which is again shocking and unexpected

Anyways bar that it was my first full boxing card I've watched and I didn't hate it but fuck me the timing was the most atrocious thing I've ever seen it was horrendously over the original expected and estimated time to start for the main which just doesn't seem possible but it happened.

Anyway finish up smackdown then bed before a back to business evening with the UFC ppv lol

  14. We have established this guy's I'm always being serious and legit for whatever reason still on here because it's pretty much the only platform I can talk and get my thoughts about wrestling and MMA out of my head

Yes I didn't expect it at all not Francis and not getting knocked out like that not at all and many others felt and thought the same so it's not exactly outrageous but I get anything I say is ridiculous most the time but I really still feel so shocked and devastated seeing that

  15. Oh my fucking god that was firstly the most unbelievable and shocking result I ever considered so the respect I now have for Anthony Joshua is sky high.

But seeing Francis get knocked out and be out for that long fucking broke me and really did come unexpectedly for me Jesus Christ I'm still in shock

The AJ Vs fury fight has me all the way behind AJ after what he just did there unbelievable but take a bow Anthony fucking Joshua

  16. I thought it was a show of two halves the first two matches were fantastic and I personally gave match of the night too the tag title match but the women's chamber was miles better than the men's like someone said above the men's just didn't get going whatsoever.

  17. I think out of everything thrown around in terms of what to do night 1 the only option that could work is Cody Vs the rock then night 2 Cody Vs Roman

The tag match has so many reasons why it won't or can't work with Seth just getting cleared this close doing two wrestlemania main event style matches back to back feels too high risk for him to get injured again and potentially worse than he's just had.

Roman just isn't doing two huge matches back to back he won't even do two appearances on smackdown back to back let's face it.

Cody really seems to be the only option that's reliable and plausible but it doesn't seem dead set if there going that way I think this weeks raw and smackdown will truly show either way because they won't be leaving it any later and have to promote and build on top with just four/five weeks till mania

  18. The thing that's most exciting about this is how great the time is for once here In the UK it's a absolute rarity this.

Not at all a must watch and cannot miss but it should really deliver those fans were insane yesterday at the press conference.

I am excited for the tag title match and while I would love British strong style to get the win and the belts I really don't see that happening a month out from mania.

Excited and intrigued too see what they will end up having Cody Rhodes do which feels like the biggest thing on the card really personally

Think drew mcyntire will be winning the men's chamber and Becky lynch for the women's chamber both seem abit too obvious but yeah we will see.

  19. Surely any outcome other than Cody finally winning and beating Roman at wrestlemania 40 with all the other add-ons has to be done.

They just about got away with last year and kept Cody on a fantastic track to last till now, if Roman wins again it won't be backlash like last year it will be a negative/bad backlash. They won't get away with it twice
