Every now and then when you open a tin of baked beans (Heinz)  there's far too much tomato sauce in it ?  I fucking hate it when you have to drain some of the shit off to prevent the other food on your plate from swimming in the fucking stuff. Some tins seem more watery then others.

Who said anything about using the whole fucking tin?  My gripe is that certain tins seems to have a watery tomato sauce.

Really enjoying Shades Of Blue with Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta on Sky Living about corrupt cops.  It's only 2 episodes in but it's great so far.  It actually has a good soundtrack too.

I always watch the PPV kick-offs for the extra matches but there's no point in watching pre shows to Raw and Smackdown.

Makes a change to see 2 babyface General Managers run Raw and SD instead of the usual 'Good Cop, Bad Cop' routine.  Although I think I'll be sick of Mick Foley come September after he spews the same old promos every week.  But I'm really interested in seeing what kind of GM Bryan makes on Smackdown.

Edit:  Like Pitcos said how long do you leave it before you mention anything from Raw outside of the Raw thread?  I just assumed everyone would know what happened by now.

That probably has something to do with the fact that he makes around 5 movies per year.  It's bound to add up.

I hope they keep to the shows they've been drafted to this time.  Last time it was a bit stupid when Smackdown stars were showing up on Raw just to get their storyline over.

But it bugged the Hell out of me that they insisted on calling it ''Smackdown Live'' Every time they made mention of Smackdown

 

Yes we know its Live now but we don't go around calling it ''Raw Live'' Just call it Smackdown please

But it's going to be called Smackdown LIVE from now on. They've already shown the new logo.

I think Vince was more or less telling us that Raw will remain the focus of the weekly programming. By the way he said Stephanie will be running the 3 hour  juggernaut flagship show that is Raw.  Not really making them sound equal is it?

Anyone notice the new Smackdown LIVE logo last night on Raw? 

Stephanie must've felt like a total tit when she almost fell on her arse when she walked down the steps.  To her credit though she got through it by being her usual arrogant self.  

Watched The Wedding Ringer earlier and as expected it was a load of shite. I only watched it for Kaley Cuoco. I just don't find Kevin Hart funny at all.

"Octopussy" and "Never Say Never Again" are both terrible films IMO. "NSNA" had the strangeness of Connery coming back to wind up the Broccollis though. 1983 was not a good year for a Bond fan.

I enjoyed Octopussy. It was a Bond movie that basically had a script for an Indiana Jones movie.

I think it's possible Triple H could be running Smackdown as it was rumoured to be NXT heavy after the Draft.

When I first watched the end of that food fight I thought Owens was going to spit his food over the camera lens.

It looks like the reason for announcing Lesnar's opponent for SummerSlam  48 hours before his return to UFC is obviously WWE's way of telling everyone that he still works for us too.

Anyway next Monday will be the last time the whole roster is all together on Raw.  I much as I like the idea of Smackdown going LIVE I think it's fair to say that Raw will always be the flagship show.  So I'm expecting most of the star power to end up on Raw.

Sir Rog had three good Bond films maximum

Bollocks. A View To A Kill was his only weakest outing . Roger didn't even want to do that one as he knew himself he was too old to be playing Bond at this stage but he was talked into it.  

Yeah I've noticed that trend with ITV.  Connery, Moore and Dalton's outings always seem to air in the afternoons while Brosnan and Craig always get the primetime slots.   Everytime I dip into my Bond collection I always skip OHMSS because Lazenby's performance was as dull as dishwater.  I read that Adam West was offered the role as Bond in OHMSS but turned it down.  Pitty cause I think he certainly would've made a better James Bond than Lazenby. Although by 1969 I think Adam was already typecast after Batman.

LeBlanc blames Evans for ruining the show.  Apparently the BBC are going to put Top Gear on the back burner for a while.   Clarkson and Co must be loving this.
