The Exorcist mini series debuts in the US tonight on Fox. I'm interested in seeing how the storyline based on the movie spreads out across a few episodes. The Syfy channel in the UK have also picked this up and is due to air late October. I'll be downloading the 1st episode tomorrow to see what it's like.

Has anyone watched the first episode of Lethal Weapon yet?

It seems ever since Ambrose done Austin's podcast most of the crowds are thinking 'I can't be bothered with this fucker anymore'.
-
Just a random thought but I wonder who will host the Kick Off show for Clash of Champions now that Renee seems exclusive to the blue team.
-
It's pretty obvious that Hunter will sabotage Seth's chance at becoming champion on Sunday. As it's been rumoured that Triple H is set to return to TV this will properly kick start their build up towards Mania.

I've enjoyed Gotham right from the start. I think Sean Pertwee's Alfred is great. I just watched the Season 3 opener last night.

The Great British Bake Off is causing quite a stir in media lately. But Channel 4 can't be happy knowing that they've paid 75 million just for Paul Hollywood and a big fucking tent.Â

At the time I thought Rico really was gay. He was more camp than Goldust.

If we don't hear them bang on about that 'Season Premiere' bullshit on Monday it means they must've dropped it. How can they even have a season premiere episode when it runs 52 weeks a year with no breaks?Â
-
I've always been amazed that the writers on The Big Bang Theory doesn't have a character that's a fan of wrestling. Infact wrestling has never been mentioned on the show.
-
For fuck sake they really need to stop giving Foley a live mic. Just pre record all of his backstage segments. If they keep building up Strowman I reckon we could see a match with the Undertaker at a later stage. This was one of those weeks where nothing stood out again.

Just a heads up for those interested National Treasure with Robbie Coltrane begins tonight at 9pm on Channel 4. It's about a celebrity being accused of rape from years back. It's basically a drama about Yewtree. Coltrane usually puts in a great performance in dramas. Should be worth a watch.

To be fair If you were over 18 and still watched wrestling even during the Attitude Era you were classed as a sad bastard in the eyes of the non wrestling fans. The haters didn't realise that it was a period aimed at an adult audience. To them it was still fake shitty wrestling.Â

Sky Cinema have been showing the Back to the Future trilogy all weekend on a pop-up channel. You just never get tired of watching those movies.Â

Just avoid An Arse Oddity, it's fucking awful. It's the worst thing Rik and Ade have ever done.Â
-
Watched The Conjuring 2 last night. It was much better than their first effort.

Returning on RAW next Monday and back on the road with WWE according to PWInsider
Â
They'll probably book her into a feud with Nia Jax.Â

Give me Paige over Layla any day in the ring. The only good thing I remember about Layla was her nice arse.

Trish was injured sometime after Mania 17, during the summer of 2001 she co-hosted WWF Excess with Coachman until she was ready to return to action.
see below
Â
If I remember correctly, Trish got injured around the time the Invasion storyline began (I might be wrong but I think she injured her ankle in the paddle match with Torrie just after Invasion), which led to her being out all summer and as part of her rehab she started doing some light training with Finlay and he took her under his wing which led to her coming back as a 'wrestler' at Survivor Series that year.

Yeah but I added the info about Excess.Â
Â
Paige hasn't been involved in any storylines for a while now. Â

I plan on watching The Shallows tonight, I've heard more good than bad about it. Anyone here seen it?

Apparently Stephanie pushed the release date of her book back herself as she wanted to add more stories. She says it'll be available sometime next year. Sounds to me that someone has dropped hints about her book being shit before it was due to be published.

Ha! Fucking hell Byron. Stealing a living, that man.
Â
So is Otunga. He's fucking terrible.

Yeah I've always thought Meltz had a look of the Hulk about him even years back.

The first In Your House event on Sky was Revenge of the Taker in April '97. It was shit that Sky didn't have the rights to IYH for the first 2 years.
