Undertaker's advertised for the Mexico tour in October. Seems like a no-brainer to make one of the shows a network special. Day of the Deadman.

Hoping he ends up on the UK tour in November. Also wondering how long it will be before they try one of these network specials here.

In my case i was talking to a FB friend of mine about him as he'd been a dick to the guy. Bowler jumped on the thread. Have no interest in having him on my friends list and sure as hell wouldn't waste my time looking for him on there lol

He was still being a dick to me for no reason as recently as this afternoon. So i just take this as another attempt to try and save face. I also know he told someone he was done with this "shit site" and was never coming back. That seemingly only took him a few hours. It's going to take a little more than a half assed apology and claiming "problems" for me to believe he's changed any. Every other time he's said sorry thus far he's ended up acting like a bellend again when we haven't all got on side.

I've been challenged to many fights in my life, but only once in the form of a wrestling style promo. It's a little surreal to be honest. Well that and the fact he's tiny and seemingly oblivious to the fact he's capable of being mauled by a kitten. Moral of the story.. Boy needs to eat more pies and then he'll grow up to be big and strong!

Beware the legal team! If that fails  you need to fear Bowler! He'll call you chump and challenge you a fight in the style of a wrestling promo!! I genuinely laughed my ass off when he did this to me.

Speaking of legal action, how is your police action against all the UKFF members bullying you going thus far? And how do you plan to go about entering legal proceedings against UKFF for false advertising your show? Genuinely curious as to how a small no name indy fed in Leeds is going to be able to afford to extremely high costs associated with entering into legal proceedings.

In fairness, where it comes from shouldn't matter too much, I'd say. Bowler has done himself absolutely no favours in this thread, but that flyer is a decent effort - if it's from a free template, that's an even better decision: there's no need to waste money on designing a flyer when your promotion's in its stillbirth infancy. Nobody who sees it will care about such minutiae at this stage.

 

Fully agree, smart move on his part here. Wasn't knocking it, more just pointing out why it looks a lot better than previous promotional material for LPW. That template is pretty good in it's original form. I also respect the fact whoever did the flyer has made a lot of alterations and changes to the original version to make it more their own and unique.

Why should my very truthful and honest comments about your shitty attitude towards myself be removed Adam? To make you look better? I could be wrong, but i assume you'd want those removed right? It's about time you faced up to facts mate. Even if ALL the pies, peas, rumble, free entry etc related posts were removed and only factually accurate ones remained. You'll still be seen as a bellend, as you have acted like one throughout. Challenging me to a fight and acting like a bratty kid just because when you messaged me i didn't say what you wanted to hear. Was i rude to you? No. Was i talking about pies? I'd have to disagree with your conclusion. I'd say it's more likely his presence on the card was co-incidental with Tidal's promoters really pulling out all the stops and promoting the show extremely well.

 

 

I understand your logic, but unless Tidal are a particularly internet-based promotion, I would have to doubt that the vast majority of crowds came for the match - most promotions that draw well tend to do so because they put out plenty of posters, and people come to them purely on that basis. I don't doubt that there is a core of a fanbase, but in my experience, it's only the casuals who don't know the promotions' names nor their rosters who really fill the seats.

 

Ultimately speaking, I don't think I'd be able to prove that to you, nor your standpoint to me, unless there was an actual survey done of the fans at that show. I'm mainly going off what's been established as a consensus: that the internet is largely ineffectual for drawing large numbers to shows, and that postering and flyering, which tends to draw people who don't know the product all that well, is much more effective.

 

I can see where you're coming from with this also, but i think it varies from promotion to promotion for sure. In the case of a promotion liek PCW, while they promote the hell out of shows via regular means i.e  posters and flyering. They have sold out a show just via their social media before now (Showdown in June). So the internet can be used effectively as a promotional tool, but only once a promotion has reached a certain level. So i guess i'm agreeing with you here in that flyering and postering is a much more effective promotional tool.

Well i know JD Boom was in one of the top 2 matches on Tidal's last card and they did their biggest crowd to date. So i'd say he definitely helped put bums in seats on that particular night.

A lot of that promotion was around a match featuring Boom though. So yes he promoted the hell out of it, but people wanted to see it. I've gone along to Tidal many times with Boom being something i was looking forward to. So he's definitely a draw for myself and the Mrs, and i don't think we're the only ones. He's booked on a lot by Tidal also as he clearly is a draw for them.

He's a great comedy wrestler and gets a good reaction from the crowd, i know me and the Mrs looked at his inclusion on Monkey Madness' first show as one of the reasons we chose to attend. The rest of the card ended up pretty stacked, but he was definitely one of the early reasons we chose to attend. So i'd say he earns his pay.
