  1. It's also not the 'original' or 'classic' or 'whatever else you want to call it' lineup that's being rumoured to be happening. The only three members that are rumoured to be part of it are Axl, Slash (which are the only two that I think most are bothered about) and Duff Mckagan. Izzy Stradlin isn't involved and Steven Adler and Matt Sorum haven't been contacted either, so who plays drums?

RHCP can fuck right off, they've always been shit

No Dizzy Reed? He's been the only constant member of the band since 1990 other than Axl.

  2. "According to the UK's Bristol Post, the first announcement of acts playing next year's Reading Festival will be announced at 8:00am GMT on Friday, December 4th, with GUNS N' ROSES expected to be on the bill. Rumour has it the band will play with their original line-up at the event with the festival taking place simultaneously with one in Leeds."

Take it for what it's worth i guess.

  3. If The Hooligans don't end the reign (which has to be approaching 1000 days) it's hard to imagine who will. They've run out of competition almost. How many challengers they've had in total? That's gonna be quite the list to go through.

I'll be shocked if the Hooligans dont take the belts next time out. They are the ones the fans want to dethrone Team Single. I do wonder where Rampage and T-Bone go from there though. I mean they've done everything they can do as a team, and i doubt they'll stay together.

  4. Show 1

Cole over Ligero and Bubblegum in an elimination 3-way to win the PCW crusierweight strap

    Williams over Young

    Samuels over King

    Kirby/Hayes over Castle/Delirious

Mastiff over Strong to retain PCW title

War Machine, Alexander, and Lionheart over Interacial Love, Rees, and Rayne

Team Single over ReDRagon in a street firght to retain PCW tag titles
Lethal over Dar to retain ROH world title

    Show 2
Strong over Garrett, Ligero, Rayne, Bubblegum, and King in a 6-way
    Samuels over Castle
Cole over Smith to retain PCW cruiserweight title
    Dar over Alexander
Team Single over ReDRagon, War Machine, and Hayes/Kirby in a 4-way to retain PCW tag titles
Mastiff over Young to retain PCW title
    Lionheart over Delirious
Lethal over Williams to retain ROH world title

    Show 3

Castle over Alexander, Young, Smith, Garrett, and Kirby in a 6-way

Strong over Lionheart  via count out (Lionheart walked out)
    War Machine over ReDRagon

Rayne, Hooligans, and X-Pac (w/ Hall in their corner) over FWB

Lethal over Hayes to retain ROH world title

    Samuels over Delirious

Dar vs PCW trainee Jack Baron didn't happen as Baron was attacked by Drew Galloway who said he wanted Galloway/Dar III right now!

Dar over Galloway in a fantastic match that went all over Evoque.

Mastiff and Cole fought to a 3-3 draw in a 30min ironman match for the PCW title. Mastiff vs Cole went to sudden death at the request of both men. This ended in a double DQ after Sha attacked both men. Mastiff retains.

    Show 4

T-Bone, Rees, Bubblegum over Delirious and ReDRagon.

    Castle over Young.

War Machine over Roy Knight and T-Bone. zak apparently fell over drunk and hurt himself, so Roy asked for anyone in the back to be his partner. Bone accepted. Bone laid out Roy after the match and zak made the save on crutches. This pretty much sets up a future match between Team Single and the Hooligans for the titles.

    Hayes/Kirby over Interacial Love.

Cole over Bubblegum to retain the PCW cruiserweight title.

Dar over Lionheart via count out as Lionheart walks out.

    King over Alexander.

    Strong over Lethal.

  5. Judas Priest are a name that gets thrown around every year and I love for it to happen, but I won't be suprised if it isn't them. I remember hearing a guy on the last day this year saying. "I'm positive that Judas Priest will play next year" and I'm sure he's said that a lot of times.

It's a similar situation to when we used to say Sting would debut in WWE, if you say it enough times you'll be right eventually.

Tool a possibility for Bloodstock? Surely they're far too big for Bloodstock.

Fully agree i wouldnt be shocked if Priest didn't play. But Vicky saying she wants them to play shows the festival is at least wanting it to happen. And how many moreyears are there going to be to make it a reality? The timing of their tour ending and the announcment being this month lines up well for i to at least explain why they are holding back announcing the headliner. Of coursethat's purely speculation on my part.

Tool i could see at Download as second stage headliner more than i could see them at BOA.

  6. The Bloodstock announcement has now been confirmed.

Gojira are the special guests for Saturday while Anthrax are Sunday special guests and Satyricon play Nemesis Devina in it's entirety.

Means there is STILL a headliner to be confirmed

Judas Priest are being talked about a lot, and Vicky Hungerford has said to me she'd love them to play. So they are at least a possibility. BOA have said the last headliner would be announced this month, which could point to Priest. i.e. Their own tour of the UK wraps up on the 1st, so an end of month announcement won't hurt their own potential salers. Tool just announced they'll be playing shows again as of January, so they have to be a possibility.

  7. I was thinking of going to bloodstock and I couldn't be happier with that announcement, great bands.

Yeah, i'm happy with the bands. Shaping up to be a fun weekend. Then again, much like Hard Rock Hell and Hammerfest, i always have a blast at BOA.

  8. Seems tomorrows Bloodstock announcement is Anthrax, Satryicon and Gojira! The band pages for each band were up on the site (just no links to them), but have since been taken down (once we started discussing it in the Rock Soc group - All the main BOA crew and management are regulars in the group also). Anthrax are main stage on the Sunday. Didn't take note of where the other 2 fall.

EDIT: Looks like Gojira (Sat main), Satyricon (Sun main) and Anthrax (Sun main)

  9.

Had a great time in Manchester, the closing segment was fantastic. A little annoyed Ric Flair came out and essentially spoiled it before hand, but it was still a great moment to be in the building for.

Eh? How did he spoil it? He just came out to annouce/remind that The Undertaker would be on Smackdown. I myself thought when he came out to say that it must mean Undertaker isnt showing up tonight

As i hadn't heard Taker was doing Smackdown until that point, i just figured they wouldn't telegraph a return angle like that, thus he must be returning tonight on the bigger of the 2 shows (especially given it was the show closing angle). With follow up on Smackdown. If he hadn't said anything at all, i wouldn't have even considered Taker as an option for Raw.

  10. Just thought, why are the Stone Roses being talked about in this thread? The Roses are half decent. Also, don't those dates fall a week before Glastonbury? I'd wager on them being a headliner.

If they weren't doing T in the Park than i would have thought it was good odds. But it would surprise me if they were announced for Glasto now. Not that a band headlining both is unheard of, Mumford did it in 2013, but it is uncommon

  11. Added a 3rd and a 4th date Truth, due to the 'unprecedented demand.' Sorted out 8 tickets 4 of those are for my dad's mates mind. Cant wait though. Should be superb. Where'd you end up buying from Truth? Got ours through eventim and seetickets. Although seetickets was useless this time round and I normally rate it as one of the better ones!

    Got mine from Gigantic.

  12. Roses tickets where carnage trying to get. Sorted 8 mind. Saturday. So far doing 4 nights at the Etihad though pretty impressive. Doubt they'll do Glasto anymore.

4 nights? I thought they were only doing 2? I managed to land 2 standing tickets for my Mum and her fella, so thats my good deed for the day done. It was most definitely carnage trying to get them. Sites not loading, no available tickets, sites stalling etc etc.

  13. I'm off to Motley Crue/Alice Cooper in Birmingham tonight, hyped now! l've got Judas Priest and Marilyn Manson later in the month too.

Crue were awesome in Manchester. I'm just sad i only got to see them twice in my life. Killing Joke were on fire in Leeds tonight, just fantastic from beginning to end!

  14.

Iron Maiden are headlining on the Sunday, I'm seeing a bunch of their fans crying because there isn't an actual tour next year.

It is a bit shit to be fair.

If they only play Download in 2016 then one UK show in 15 months after the album coming out is a bit off.

I've heard this is a UK exclusive show, so the UK tour dates will likely be in 2017. On the plus side, this means affording Sabbath tickets will be less of an issue lol
