Just watched that Joe Riggs bare knuckle video that Ebb posted. Hilarious. He gets a point taken away for landing a take down on the guy! Then he throws an elbow and then a superman punch. Haha!
Got to admit I don't quite understand the whole bare knuckle thing. Seems dumb to me - fighters a bit gun shy because they don't want to destroy their hands. Not to mention that their knuckles aren't actually even bare. Why not just have a boxing match with MMA gloves?

Managed to find the full fight on YouTube;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&persist_app=1&noapp=1&v=7bEK1l3KW4E
Wow, MMA has come a long way, hasn't it! The cage door busting open, the commentators seemingly knowing very little about ground fighting, the sponsor logos on the matt with messed up aspect ratios, the lack of a stoppage at the end of the first round, no on-screen graphics for round time or number ...

Well happy with Mcgeary and Gallagher being added to the London card. Probably looking forward to it more than the UFC show now.
What's the protocol on spoilers for shows broadcast with a delay in the UK? Wait until it's aired over here before talking about it?
-
No extras needed. I think they just brought the presale forward a week. Bagged a ticket for £57. Cheapest will set you back £41 but honestly the floor plan makes it look like you'll have a shitty view in those seats.
-
don't know Chunk but for the last London show im sure they were pretty similar to what the UFC charges.
Cheers. Yeah they start at £35 (£40 with motherfucking charges) and go up from there. Wrongly assumed it's at The O2 though. It's at Wembley, which makes the cheap seats worthless because the venue shape is a rectangle.
-
Apparently there's a presale for the London show tomorrow and Friday. Any idea how you can find out what the prices will be ahead of time? Drives me nuts that you have to wait until the rush of the presale window to plan what you're going to spend!

Streams full of Bellator stuff this morning. This card is better than the UFC card this weekend for me. It's arguably better than the last UFC PPV too. Really refreshing to see.
-
I thought Nathaniel Wood was fighting Vaughn Lee on that card!?
-
The fuck!? That looks like a fake Mcgregor body AND a photo-shopped on head.
One or the other would make sense but both of them together is just confusing.

Don't get the shouting for Cook to step down. For the most part England haven't lost games because of his captaincy being poor and he's actually managed to maintain his batting whilst being captain - something historically difficult to do. Now we've got Root in charge ... putting the batting form of our number one batsman at risk so that we can have a captain in charge who has basically no captaincy experience. Stupid. The likes of Michael Vaughan campaigning for Cook to step down is the sort of shit I expect from football, not cricket.

The more I think about it the less I understand booking Daley against Rory.
Daley Vs MVP and Rory Vs someone else = two fights much bigger than Rory Vs Daley and MVP Vs someone else.
With the London date available, it just made perfect sense to do Daley Vs MVP.
-
Get MVP on that card and I'm well happy.
Any ticket info!?
Edit: on sale 3rd March.

Bellator generally go for exciting fighters or guys who can talk well.
They did sign Phil Davis and he's now their champ, don't forget ...

Asuka demonstrates a flaw with her merch.
Weatherspoon's carpet.

There's a best of Bellator on tonight on channel 5. Their next show is the Tito/Chael one if I'm correct.
You are correct.
-
Spike never did show the Bamma portion of the card right?
Bellator are apparently interested in Ryan Bader which makes sense since he's a former TUF on Spike and has headlined a few UFC fight nights which Spike just love but they aren't interested in Lorenz Larkin.
King Mo & Liam McGeary already lost to Phil Davis for the title, I assume Chael if he beats Tito will wait for Wand and who the fuck knows what Rampage is doing, so Bader would probably get an immediate title shot.
Bader vs Davis. Could you think of a more dull fight if you tried?
-
Feels like a bit of a step down for Mcgeary ... he's only just lost the belt.
-
Woah, that Khalidov fella has a 32-4 record and had his debut 12 years ago! How come he's never moved on to a bigger promotion?
Am I just underestimating how big KSW is in some parts of the world?
-
He would appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone about his busy hands.
Not so much for himself, but he is so respected, it would damage the TOWN to hear it.
Haha, of course! Brilliant.
He was also Jay Sherman 'The Critic' from the show of the same name that also crossed into The Simpsons
IT STINKS! IT STINKS! IT STINKS!

I know him as the guy in the wedding singer:
“He's losing his mind. And I'm reaping all the benefits!”
-
Not really sure what the hell this is, but it does show that Mcgregor isn't as bad an actor as you might think. I'm not saying he's great, but he's not terrible.

If he's smart - which we know he is - he'll start taking his way into the Romero fight now. That way, win or lose, he's still got one more big pay day left in him before retiring.
