I very much enjoyed Wardlow being introduced as 'Mr Wardlow'
Would be happy for them to lean into this. Bring back his suits, insist on the Mr.

Third in the Womenâs and top 10 overall - maybe the best Iâve ever managed. Thank you for the effort @Glenryck Pilchards - this year and every year. Perfectly understandable that youâd want to call it a day, so thank you again.

Gravity had bad matches with PAC and Samoa Joe. Thatâs worthy of recognition.

I forgot the Strap match! Thatâs the best Starks has ever looked. One more + in the Danielson column.

I went to see Operation Mincemeat a week or so ago, it's absolutely brilliant. I'm not normally into musicals, but the songs are catchy and great, serve the plot really well, everyone in it is brilliant, and it's hilarious, with some really touching moments too. A very odd story to decide to make into a musical, and they've really made it work.Â
Seeing this tonight. Iâve heard very good things, looking forward to it!

The sheer amount of work done for House Show Happenings deserves recognition.

Some great, great posters in On Topic this year. Air_raidâs House Show thread has been a consistent highlight; Supremo, when something happens he loves, is the best; BomberPat knows so much he wrote a book! But having JLM back, offering weekly reviews of AEW and ROH, has been wonderful, and he gets the vote this time.

I voted for McColls, which consisted of me voting for McColls.

They might Finish The Story this year, but Cody losing at Mania still feels like an all-time silly decision.
-
Itâs got to be All In. What a brilliant day that was!

@Frankie Crisp Gunther vs Sheamus vs Drew will split its own vote being on there twice! Though you could always count them collectivelyÂ
(Not that it matters, Swerve vs Hangman is the winner)
-
Very tough decision - itâs between Christian or Swerve.

OC for me. The longer his first title run went, the more I rooted for him.

Orange Cassidy had an incredible year, but I voted Danielson. Despite all the spells of being injured, this was the year of the Iron Man with MJF, the Sabre match and the Continental Classic. He may be the very best.

Havenât watched since Survivor Series, but watched wrestling this morning. Survivors wasnât long ago but I think theyâve reduced their camera cuts even since then. Makes it so much more watchable.
Womenâs Rumble was better than the menâs. Jade Cargill looked the star we all knew she would be, but Jordynne Grace was probably my standout. Heard the name but never seen her before - she was ace! And commentary put her and by extension TNA over really well. Iâm way more tempted to try out their show after seeing her.
Itâs also good that they no longer have to rely on nostalgia surprises to fill out the field in the womenâs match. Watching the depth of the division here - even compared to last year, when it was hard to tell who was who at times due to similar bright hair and gear, it was much easier to distinguish everyone this time - the difference between this and AEWâs womenâs division is night and day.
The non-Rumble matches did nothing for me.
R-Truth was highlight of the Menâs Rumble, he was great. Average Rumble but the right winner. I didnât think it was going any other way, no matter how many times Punk looked at that sign - you donât use the âfirst back to back winner in 26 yearsâ stat multiple times if Codyâs not winning. Even so, there were moments of doubt so they did a good job in the final stretch.
I skipped all the entrances at Survivor Series because of the ring announcer but saw them here and when did so many entrance themes become so bland? Even the likes of Asuka have lost the music that used to stick in my head.

Hangman and Swerve might be the first time Iâve wanted âfight foreverâ to come true. These two should want to destroy each other for eternity. Their little backstage moment was just brimming with brilliant hatred for each other.

T.L. Russell could do with a name change.Â

Every January I try to find the time to watch a few previous Rumbles on YouTube. One of them this year was 1994, because 30 years ago this year and all that. I counted two people from that Rumble who are still active wrestlers, theyâre both in AEW and both had arguably one of their best career years in 2023. Whoâd have thought watching at the time that three decades on, Billy Gunn would be winning a title at Wembley Stadium and Jeff Jarrett would still be one of the most reliable heels in the biz?

The best part of this show was probably the recap of Joe vs Hook, but that doesnât mean it wasnât a good Collision.
Edge vs Dante was the best Cope Open match so far, mainly because he was against an AEW regular rather than an ROH guy*. They made it clear that itâs an open challenge for young guys to go against a veteran too, which works.**
Six man cage match next week should be good.
Claudio wearing Misawa green and white when heâs facing Eddie in his Kawada black and yellow.
Â
*I know Griff and Moriarty have been in AEW forever but itâs been years since they featured properly in any way
Â**except they then announced heâs going against Minoru Suzuki on Wednesday, so maybe not. Should be a cracking match though - the sort of thing you want to see now Copeland is in a non-WWE environment

I think that's also part of the reason Sting picked them for his final match, that they're the best placed to make him look great on the way out and put Darby over huge.Â
Iâm not sure I can count on this. Nothing to do with the Bucks though. Chris Jericho has VERY SUBTLY said âseek and destroyâ in his last two promos and, unless I missed it, commentary didnât confirm that itâs definitely Sting & Darby vs The Bucks. I think Jerichoâs going to squeeze his way in there.
Anyway, add me to the fans of Joe vs Hook, and for the really touching segment with Mark Briscoe. Lovely stuff.

Been organising a 'money can't buy/big ticket' draw for the Air Cadet Squadron I'm involved with and not expecting a huge amount of response, I've now been able to raise over 30 items ranging from wrestling tickets to signed Oscars programmes to fly fishing lessons to ÂŁ300 gift vouchers to vintage radios!
Â
So overwhelming that local businesses and individuals would willingly donate things like this for the sole reason of raising money for young people and helping give them a chance of experiences and activities they'd not normally get.Â
Â
Thanks Dunmow and surrounding areas!Â
I'd bid for that Oscars programme, I'd love to see that!

Over the weekend the kids roped me into buying Costa Coffees new offering, a hot milkshake. I can't adequately explain how vile this was, the only good thing being I used a reward on it so I didn't pay.
Imagine hot Angel Delight, which actually sounds really nice, but it's not. It was grim. Even the kids hated it.
My wife was excited to try these at the weekend, and that lasted until the first sip. They are horrible drinks.

I'd be more inclined to care about him if he did any actual bounty hunting.
