Paid Members Ron Simmons Posted April 5, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted April 5, 2010 Randy Savage vignette from the mid-80s. Just hilarious. I wish there was stars around like this bloke today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr_ehvSPynw...feature=related I didn't watch wrestling back then, but from what I did see I was always terrified of Savage. As in I would have actual nightmares about him breaking into my home and chasing after me, shouting "come out, come out wherever you are" in his bizarrely gruff voice. So yeah, this segment brought back bad memories.

Mr Lawrence
the main event - the hebner twins edition, remember watching this when it was on. The harts were meant to fight sttike force aswell - 3 title matches on 1 card - was huge at the time, think 33million watched it in the US, WAS GUTTED WHEN THE HULKSTER LOST THE BELT. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted April 5, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted April 5, 2010 They exaggerate the attenance for WrestleMania III, but they NEVER mention that Andre vs Hogan II drew 33 million viewers. Where's the logic?

Just a total one-off, wacko charisma machine. Segments like that Okerlund interview are what I miss most about 80s WWF.
