Just confirm something for me, Dave Finlay is not a third/fourth generation wrestler, right? Someone just said he was and my head has gone into meltdown,. I'm sure they mean Dave Taylor.

I think Dave Taylor is third generation and he has a daughter that wrestles and she is fourth generation.Finlay's father was a wrestler/promoter, don't know if anyone else in his family wrestled though.

The night after King of the Ring 2000, if I recall correctly. He was in the ring with The Rock and explained how Linda was messing with the McMahon/Helmsley regime because she loved Vince. Vince then had a hunch that Linda wanted another baby. He then said the immortal words "Linda, i'm your genetic jackhammer. DADDYS COMING HOME!!!!"The segment wrapped up with Rock explaining to Vince he was an asshole. Rock Bottom. End of McMahon/Helmsley Storyline.

Cheers.
The segment features on The Best of Raw Volume 3 video, and possibley The Rock-The Peoples Champion video.

Doubt anyone will know this but its always baffled me, why was Ahmed Johnsons run as a heel member of the Nation so short lived?? The build up to his turn was good and well booked then a couple of weeks later with no logical explanation he was turned face again after the Nation attacked him.Anyone know why the quick switch??

He was probably injured, so they worte him out of storylines. I don't remember seeing him again after that angle until he turned up in WCW, single and pregnant.

Even in wrestling, his heel turn didn't make much sense in my humble opinion. That killed his momentum.

Wasnt his short Nation run in late 1997? If so, then he was in Royal Rumble 1998, and in a 4vs4 at No Way Out a month later. That would mean that it cant be injury for turning him back to become a face again. Could it be that he was replaced by Mark Henry in the Nation?I always thought that he was injured round about the time of Wrestlemania 14, and was pretty much forgotten about very quickly.

Ahmed was a heel between June and October 1997, and was supposed to wrestle Undertaker for the WWF Title at In Your House: Canadian Stampede, though suffered an injured knee in a brawl against the DOA. He was replaced in the Nation that October by Rocky Maivia.Henry was brought in as part of The Rock's feud with Ken Shamrock in January of 1998, without Faarooq knowing he'd been recruited.

Help me out guys, can anyone recall the name of a website that was like a wrestling version of The Onion? It had really amusing parody articles on it like "John Cena booed out of family meal", "Dusty Rhodes Resume" and "Goldbergs real WWE contract" I don't think it's being updated anymore but it'd be fun to have a chuckle over at work.

Just had to sit through The Paul O'Grady show over dinner (thanks, mum) and in the 'ordinary members of the public doing extraordinary things' clip package, there was definately some wrestlers.Could someone enlighten me as to who these guys were, and what promotion it was 'through'?Ta much.

O'Grady seems to be a fan of wrestling, especially the old W.O.S stuff, he mentions it quite often. He's also mentioned WWE once or twice I think, I also remember him having Rowdy Roddy Piper as a guest once. He seemed to know his stuff if I recall.

A quick one - has The Hardy Boyz theme, the one Jeff is still using today, ever been put on to a WWE CD? I downloaded 7 WWE CD's last night looking for the theme, but its not there anywhere. At least not on the ones I got. Anybody able to point me in the right direction?

No, it's a public domain track that WWE licence, so they don't have the rights to sell it. You'll sometimes here it in montages on low-budget satellite channels, like when Benoit's WCW music was on Playboy tapes. I'd imagine.

The theme has never appeared on an official WWF/WWE album as it is a stock theme, and not WWE owned. As it is a stock theme, this is why it has appeared in porno's etc. The same goes for the old Cactus Jack and Hardcore/Crash Holly themes. Edited by bwo

Of all things, Steve Blackman's theme was used in a similar way. And possibly Hardcore Holly's...
