Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted 19 hours ago Paid Members Posted 19 hours ago Was I right in reading that United's recruitment plan for the last couple of summers was to recruit all attackers last year, all midfielders this year, and defenders next? What kind of strategy is that? Surely you recruit in the areas you most need it? What a stupid, hilarious football club. Quote

Just a lazy deduction that a million outlets have jumped to based on the way the last two summer windows eventually played out. Edited 18 hours ago by Arch Stanton Quote

They did buy all midfielders this summer and all forwards last summer, from what I can see on Transfermarkt though? Quote

The Gaffer Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I think things will start to go United's way again when they move into that mental new stadium that looks like a water level from Sonic the Hedgehog. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted 8 hours ago Paid Members Posted 8 hours ago I'm trying to remember if there's ever been another club where the fans hated two sets of owners at the same time. And now Bruno the Rat has turned on Carrick. Marvellous. Quote

I mean it's marginally been different since he left, but no one will ever convince me that Levy was sitting there making the decisions while the Lewis family didn't know what was going on, its their money! Before that we hated Alan Sugar, and before that we hated Irving Scholar. It's a positive club. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted 4 hours ago Paid Members Posted 4 hours ago To be fair, there's plenty to hate Sugar for outside of football anyway. I can't shake the feeling that United's been turned into Spurs In The North. Slowly, it's being turned into (if it hasn't reached there already) a banter club. Quote
