Merzbow Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) It happened Saturday night at an indie show (Ruthless Pro Wrestling in Illinois), I've included a couple of wrestler quotes but there's already allegations from people at the show saying there was no stabbing or even a knife in play and it's more the wrestlers trying to save face. From Lou Nixon: Quote At the start of the show, I was speaking to Krule. Krule told me that the guy went up to the merch stand at the start of the show, started asking Krule how much all his [merchandise] was, and then went, ‘I’m not f*cking paying that,’ and then walked away. This guy was front row during Krule’s entrance now. He’s like a big monster. He walks around, the guy stepped out the front row and stepped in front of Krule on his entrance and, like, squared up to him. Krule obviously didn’t break character and made him look silly, and then during the match I think, like, the guy got knocked out of his seat. The video that you see happens after the show. Now, currently, the guy’s went up to Krule’s merch table at the end of the show and squared up to him and started going, ‘Let’s f*cking go then, let’s f*cking go,’ and then tackled him. In the tackle, that’s when he must have shanked him because Krule didn’t realise he got stabbed until after. From Mickie Knuckles: Quote It was after the main event. After the show, Krule, SHLAK, and Lou Nixon were out at their gimmick table selling merch, and this fan came up and was just staring down Krule…and so Krule just stared right back at him. Next thing you know, the fan tackled Krule through the table…and while he had him on the ground, he stabbed him in the lower right quadrant of his abdomen. At that point, the boys saw he had a knife, so they just started lighting him up. They didn’t want to take the chance of the motherf*cker stabbing them too. They pushed him towards the door. Somebody Spartan-kicked him down the stairs. Edited March 30 by Merzbow Quote
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted March 30 Paid Members Posted March 30 Obviously you'd need to have more than a few screws loose to pick a fight with any wrestler at a show, but to pick one with that guy?! Yikes. The dude looks like you could chop his arms off and he'd still find a way to disembowel you. Quote
Richie Freebird Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Another account from a gentleman named Jeremy Cline... "First Krule and Shlak were not the Main even. The guy was drunk. I don't know what was possibly said online or before the show. I was was near the the guy during the show and by the merch table after the show. During Krules entrance the guy may have shoulder check Krule. They ended up in a long stare down, but nothing physical. During the match Krule and Shlak were fighting in the crowd and ended up by the guy again. The guy stood in Krules way and tried to stare him down again. Krule pushes him out of the way. That was at the beginning of the match. There was no futher issue between Krule and the fan the rest of the match. THE PART NO OBE HAS TALKED ABOUT Awhile after the show. The guy came up to Krule by his merch table. They were shaking hands and talking. No one was really around or paying much attention but I was right there. It was getting very tense and I could feel something was about to go down. I was honestly ready to help break thinks up. Krule was done with the dude but he would leave. After several minutes Will Carrol came up to help defuse the situation. The guy start talk trash to Will and ended up pushing Will. That's what actually starts the physicality of the situation. After the fan push Will, Krule grabbed him and grabbed him and hit him and started pushing him across the room. Krule ended up pushing the fan into the merch table where the other wrestlers were. And that is when the others wrestlers got involved. I never saw a knife or a stab wound on Krule. No one during or after the altercation mentioned anything about a knife or a stabbing at the venue. I also did not see any cops involed or on the scene. The guy got what he deserved. He tried starting shit with Krule and put his hands on Will Carrol." The videos I've seen show the fan taking a 5/6 man beating and practically no selling the lot. Quote
Kfogg1991 Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Yeah this is fucking mind-blowing I know it's been said but pick your victims your going to attack with a knife.... but this occasion attack and possibly damage NOT FUCKING KRUEL, he is actually a nice dude out of gimmick but look at him he looks like he eats small villages. It's not the greatest thing to be connected with Pro wrestling that several wrestlers are battering one guy two being shlak and krule and the guy takes it and allows it to be his direction to the exit even if he is fucking mangled as a result he didn't even drop to a knee. UFC need to sign that dude he's got some chin Quote
SoloJones Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Sorry for the X link, but looks like there actually was no stabbing, but the pretense has now lead to the Berwyn Eagles Club, a venue that has housed a lot of indie wrestling, to no longer want wrestling on its books. Quote
Snitsky's back acne Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) I'd seen a few people on social media saying that they were there and that the "stabbing* was used as a cover for beating up an annoying fan. No idea what is true and what isn't. Edited April 10 by Snitsky's back acne Quote

No idea what is true and what isn't. Yeah I've seen other wrestlers there like Gregory Iron say there was 100% no stabbing or any kind of blade at all, even during the videos we did get to see we'd surely see people trying to remove a weapon rather than just flailing punches that look like shit. Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted April 10 Paid Members Posted April 10 Yeah, what made me laugh about the video I saw was that so many of the wrestlers didn't look like they knew how to throw a punch for a shoot. Quote

Yeah that was odd too. Apparently the promotion changed ownership that night and some of the wrestlers who worked the show bought it, leading to the theory that the incident was a work designed to generate publicity - the naff punches being thrown by everyone apparently reinforces this. I don't know how true that is at it seems a very odd thing to do and while it did gain a tonne of publicity I'n not sure it is the kind of publicity a company would want. Plus, a stabbing would surely be easy to prove/disprove? Admittedly if you have just worked a deathmatch (as I believe Krule had) then you would potentially have several cuts and open wounds anyway but "He got stabbed" seems very specific. Did the fan have a knife? If so, what happened to it and why is there no footage of it? A very bizarre set of circumstances. Quote

It's very easy to disprove now that another video has come out showing that Krule started the fight with shit punches and the lad simply got the better of him. Quote
Snitsky's back acne Posted April 13 Posted April 13 What a shit show. So I imagine the fan could sue? I've seen reports saying that due to police action and lawsuits the Berwyn Eagles Club has had their licence revoked so I am assuming there is something going on If Krule hit him and then others piled on this could get pretty messy I'd imagine? Snitsky's back acne Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Yeah, Lou Nixon is full of shit. Police confirm no stabbing occurred at Berwyn Eagles Club - F4W/WON Quote
