Ultimate WrestleMania card

I know this is similar to something that’s been done on here way in the past but when we didn’t have as many WrestleManias to work from so there’s a slight twist on the qualification criteria.

With just over 1 month to the 41st edition of the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’/‘Grandest stage of them all’ you have to build your perfect ‘Show of Shows’ using matches/wrestlers from the previous 40 Manias.

However…there are a few rules.

- you have to book an 8 match card for Night 1 & an 8 match card for Night 2

- for each night you can only pick one match from each of WM 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and so on.

- under the original version of this you could only use a wrestler/team once BUT as we have occasionally seen wrestlers compete on both nights since that format was introduced, you can have a wrestler/team involved in a match on night 1 & night 2 in this ‘fantasy’ booking session BUT NOT the same wrestler/team on the same night.

- titles/title matches aren’t irrelevant but not focusing on them as in mine for example I’ve got 2 IC title matches from a few years apart but you’d want both on if you could.

Took me an absolute age to come up with these so didn’t have the energy to also decide on match order but feel free to do that if you want.

A few of these are no doubt up for debate and discussion but having to offset it against the criteria and not having the same person more than once per night and twice across the two nights is the big (and intended) challenge. No Warrior/Savage or Savage/Flair for example is a travesty but just not possible.

Fair play to those who’ve opted for one wrestler one match. I’ve already been highlighted as a fraud from my own (somewhat plagiarised) idea ??‍♂️?

Great cards so far. Can’t wait to see how many variations we get….and I may have to come back with a one for one card too at some point

If I’ve understood the rules…

- Two matches from each group of 5 Manias, one on each Night. I managed this but found 21-30 especially slim pickings. Hopefully it’s alright to have two from the same Mania split across the two nights.

- Wrestlers can be on both nights if you have to, but can’t be on twice in the same night. I had to resort to this but I think just the once (Undertaker). 

- Try not to have the same title be defended too many times. Failed this one, I’ve got at least four Intercontinental matches.

Ive also done a bit of an AEW and struggled to have more than one women’s match per night. They seem to have suffered a lot from being shoved in multi-woman filler matches over the years.

I’ve still broken one rule in that there are repeat title matches but I’ve managed to go one person/team to one match across the two nights. Night 1/WM 1-5 was perhaps the biggest sacrifice match to accommodate everything else.
