I thought it could be an idea to have a separate thread for TCG Pocket and just Pokemon chat in general, it's been one of the biggest franchises on the planet since the 90's and doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. I discovered Card Market and I hoovered up so many cards for pennies from various sets through the years. A friend of mine gave me some doubles he had from the very first set from ‘98 or thereabouts. Now they’re all in folders gathering dust. I sold a Charizard full art card last year for £160, now it’s pushing £200. That’ll teach me to wait. I haven’t played the new digital game, as I’m very much a physical copy person. Whether it’s comics, games, films or Pokémon cards, I like to have something in my hand (steady now). Is there actual value if you pull a good digital card? Could you sell it? It baffles me. If I had the patience and know-how, I’d probably look into buying and selling cards on eBay/Whatnot/Vinted etc. They seem like a sure fire investment at the moment. Quote

Not really, no, but a lot of the rare EX cards are really good for battles. I have a few EX Mewtwo's that are a little overpowered with my set-up. Quote

NeverYield Posted February 1, 2025 Posted February 1, 2025 Haven't bought any Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh for about a year but still follow it all and will probably but some ETBs and booster boxes again at somepoint. Still wanna have a pop at the new WWE Topps cards aswell. Once I start with the shiny cardboard though I quickly get out of control Pal of mine got back into it a few weeks ago with the Prismatic Evolutions and has had some great pulls. Quote
