Paid Members Statto Posted 19 hours ago Paid Members Posted 19 hours ago Probably my favourite WWF Hardcore match, that one. Proper banger. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Yeah, always loved that match. Rhino was a bit of a guilty pleasure around that time, he was also part of a decent (from what I can remember) Hardcore Triple Threat against Test and The Big Show the following month Quote
Browser Brady Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I would love it if the Vault posted 1 Squash match of the Widowmaker every single week and just captured his entire run. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted 3 hours ago Paid Members Posted 3 hours ago (edited) How many matches did Widowmaker Barry even have on TV? Can’t have been that many can it? Could probably just fit them all into one 35 minute video surely? Echo the love for the Raven vs Rhyno hardcore match as well. And Rhyno around that time in general. I remember really enjoying a lot of his TV matches that first year he was in the company especially. Some good stuff with Kurt Angle and he even got a clean pin on The Rock in a tag match at some point. He might’ve been the most over of the new ECW/WCW guys on the Alliance side behind RVD at that time, and maybe Tajiri. Can’t remember the timeline of when the neck injury sidelined him but he was out by early 2002, wasn’t he? I’m obviously not claiming he’d ever have had a main event run, especially on that ridiculously bloated roster in 2002/03 when he returned, but he never really regained that 2001 momentum when he came back did he? The tag with Benoit and some US title matches were his peak after that. Edited 3 hours ago by wandshogun09 Quote

Big Baheh Wynndon (Dusty) worked 12 WWF TV matches, all squashes except a Prime Time time limit draw with the ever reliable Tito Santana. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted 2 hours ago Paid Members Posted 2 hours ago Yeah, a real ‘what if’ that run. He was never a body guy in the way Vince McMahon likes but he was in pretty good nick in 89 as well. Even if he just stuck around a year or two, because let’s face it, he never stayed anywhere too long, I’d have been happy if we just got those Coliseum exclusives against Bret, Macho and Hogan. Quote
Chico Torres Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It was sadly a waste but I think it was around the time his old man and brother got done for forging cash and so he was quickly canned. Thankfully we did get this awesome match with Tito His only other non squash is against another unfortunate flop, our Terry the red rooster He was originally announced for the Survivor Series but alas wasn’t meant to me. Would have been a great team (and Dino Bravo) Quote
