Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 5, 2020 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 5, 2020 (edited) Whyte was behind going into the 11h round though so i see what Kamicazze is saying. Fury looks all but set to fight Agit Kabayel in December. Edited November 5, 2020 by Egg Shen

David Haye recently pointed out in an interview that Chisora unjustly had a point taken of him and that changed the way he fought and made him more reckless which lead to Chisora getting knocked out. That could be used as a selling point for a third fight. Can’t see it happening though.
Gooner
Whyte/Chisora 3 needs to be made. Let them both get more PPV loot and stop the talk about either of them getting anywhere near a title shot.
kamicazze
Whyte will just wait for Povetkin in January. Michael Hunters name has been thrown about, I doubt Whyte is going to be as gung no in his choice of opponents whilst waiting around for a world title fight now - plus Povetkin the man he needs to beat to get back in line. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 6, 2020 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 6, 2020 Hunter's the forgotten man at heavyweight, hes the ultimate high risk, low reward fight at heavyweight at the moment. He cant even get a promoter to try getting him fights.

Whyte was behind and DERECK had a point taken away. Those 2 things don't add up. Haye is just trying to talk up a third fight with Whyte as you said. Haye would probably tell you he was behind before he knocked out Audley if he thought he could sell a PPV buy.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 6, 2020 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 6, 2020 i dont think either man was behind with regards to Haye/Harrison, neither man barely threw a punch ? Talking Chisora/Whyte though. Chisora was deducted two points deducted but was still ahead on the scorecards at the time of the KO. Obviously the corner or Chisora believed the point deductions had put him behind so he went for it.

There's a huge difference between winning by early knockout, dominating to win by knockout, a close fight that is won by knockout and one where a fighters losing to win by knockout. Chisora and whyte was close until the knockout. Of course occasionally there's the argument that a fighter is dropping rounds to set up the knockout as you'll see Canelo occasionally do, this wasn't one of those Edited November 11, 2020 by kamicazze

kamicazze
Correct, though if you're assessing overall performance Usyk was far more decisive. Out skilled.
