I must admit I'll be waking up for it, cheering Garcia on. Tbf I get up at 5am everyday anyway for work so 4am for the boxing won't do me in too much, but if I didn't want Conor to get peppered with numerous left hooks and pieced up around the ring then I'd probably stay asleep myself.

Meltdown incoming if Benn manages to do it🤣

All jokes to one side though there is routes to victory for Benn, I don't think it will happen, but if Benn can apply educated pressure and take Garcias offense away I give him more of a chance, Garcia can sometimes turn up unmotivated, and his defense is more reactive rather than a tactic in place to keep getting his work off, I know that sounds silly but some boxers have a systematic defense alongside reactive and imo Garcia doesn't have that.

But Benn looks dreadful at the weight and I do see Garcia boxing his ears off.

Can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs.

Two rounds. Over $15 million for this. Well played Zuffa. You know Kugan and Charlie Parsons are blowing up Hearn’s phone right now trying to secure that first 97 minute interview reacting to this.

Its no secret I have never rated Conor Benn, hes not very skilled, hes not this super brawler with "the dog in him", he turned out two performances against a weight drained Eubank and thats about the best he has done.

If Benn was gonna stand any chance, he was gonna need a poor version of Garcia to show up, unfortunately he may have got the best version of Ryan Garcia. Decimated.

I had/have very low expectations when it comes to Benn and he still found a way to be even worse then I expected. He should never have been given a world title shot in any division, let alone one he hasn't fought in for over 4 years. Garcia handspeed, power and level far too much for someone's of Benn's limited boxing ability.

Now he and Eubank Jr can sucker fans in again to watch a third fight between the pair of them, which to be faor is their level at best. To think it took all these years, after so much coverage,  to see him in there there with a live fighter and he gets obliterated in less then five minutes. Shows how far if well promoted, have a famous last name, your best wins are against dug up corpses and popping dirty for drugs can take you. I give Benn one thing, for averageness in the ring, he has made a absolute fortune from this sport. I'm trying to think of another boxer who is as average and made similar amounts to what Benn has made so far in his career, no one from top of my head springs to mind.

John Hedges defending his British and Commonwealth cruiserweight titles against Pat Brown this Saturday night should be a good fight.

As badly as he handled the whole thing from a PR perspective, Conor Benn ditching Hearn and Matchroom and selling his soul for that silly Zuffa dough was the best move he ever made. Hearn did a good smoke and mirrors job with him (PED/eggs debacle aside) but the day was always gonna come when he’d spectacularly find his true level. Might as well make the maximum amount of money possible for the hiding he was always inevitably gonna get eventually. And nobody else was ever gonna pay him $15 million plus. He took advantage of the landscape with Zuffa trying to make moves and grab headlines and cashed out. Can’t blame him. Still a massive twat though. Hope Eubank smashes him in the trilogy.

Tommy Fury? He probably hasn't made quite as much, but he'll have made a chunk. And he's actually shit, rather than mediocre, and yet somehow undefeated.

It's partly why I root for him.
