Anyone know why? At a guess, I'd say they well and truly lost their arse doing that wrestlecon and decided to call it quits.
big7thletter
Yeah they did an evening with Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and then the London Comic Con and then it went tits up. I'd say they realised they weren't cut out for any of it and buggered off quietly into the sunset
Doctor Whos Next
I think the wrestling show boom is getting to be very much like what we have with comic cons in general. The market is getting very crowded, with new operators popping up all the time. On top of that you've got the regular WWE tours, NXT, the UK championship (or whatever they are going to call it), World of Sport, and I wouldn't rule out Impact to start touring if they can stabilise enough in the states. I think while its a good thing that people get plenty of choice, I reckon that once we get a clear idea about how Brexit is going to affect the economy in the short term, I think the market for these shows could quickly dry up as people don't have as much disposable income.
