Ps you ultimately swapped a all bottom 6 tie with a Bottom 6 side hosting a Top 6 side (St J 6th Killie 8th St M 11th M'well 2nd)

Och aye, so I did. Well, it was the last chance to include that type of fixture this season, I guess. Congrats on being the top scorer this time out, by the way.

Anyhoo - the results went into the first post nice and early on Sunday night as per usual, but the table was only updated a couple of hours ago, I'm afraid. At the wrong end of it, hallicks closed the gap to seph by 3 points, so it's now down to an assailable 9. However, at the other end, MVP RULZ was the only other participant into double figures, whilst TildeGuy was joint worst performer with just a brace of points. That means the leader's advantage is back up to a whopping 25 with only 6 rounds to go. His nearest challengers will need to take full advantage of the Easter double week very soon.

Not a particularly high-scoring round, but there was plenty of movement in the standings regardless of that. There has been a dearth of draws lately, which seems to have contributed to the lack of big scores, and that pattern continued this time with none among the 10 results. The most guessable scorelines were Hull's narrow home win over Swansea, Liverpool's crucial victory at West Ham and an equally vital derby triumph for relegation-threatened Stuttgart. We could almost add the latest example of Newcastle's continued poor form to that list, except that nobody quite managed to bag a three-pointer for that outcome.

Elsewhere, two suspicious late goals at St Mirren Park cost a lot of people a point or three (and Hearts their top-flight place, even though they're still just about in business as I type) while a triumph on the road for St Johnstone and a repeat of the 2-0 margin in the other German match caught a fair few players out. Closer to home, nobody quite foresaw the scale of Arsenal's reverse at Goodison, just as further setbacks for Cardiff and Norwich - on their own patch in battles against the drop, no less - had surprised many one day previous.

Apologies for severe lateness once again. Unlike the last two weeks, I really have been busy since I made my picks nearly a full week ago, on top of staying up late two nights in a row on Sunday and Monday for obvious reasons. I'll aim to do the next update by Monday night, then back at the normal time for the remainder of the season.

Is it true that stinky dad is on 255 points? if so he shouldn't be that high up.

Whoops, you're right. Failing to play in a given week is a sneaky way not to get noticed, I suppose. You and Mungo should both be one place higher. Will be corrected on the next update.
