Big Rob
Michael Cole having the Texas Longhorn logo on his Titantron got real heat in the home of the horns.  Lillian sang the national anthem, such an amazing voice!  Show started with a recap video of the Sheamus / ADR feud.  Del Rio came out with RR. He cut a promo demanding that he get his World Heavyweight Championship match reinstated. Booker T came to the ring and said that a man doesn't hire goons to beat up one guy. Del Rio says that he spoke to his lawyers, and is interrupted by Y2J, who tells Del Rio to shut the hell up. Jericho says that after he beats Ziggler at Summerslam, he will take Del Rio's spot against Sheamus. General T books a match tonight, Y2J vs. Alberto Del Rio.  Match 1: Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes & The Miz Rey & Sin win when Cody, distracted with trying to unmask Cara, got caught with a 619. Miz ate a 619 after the match and Rey posed with the Intercontinental title.  HHH/Brock feud recap video  Match 2: Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins vs. 2 Unnamed Talents (they got no intro). Reks & Hawkins win the squash.  William Regal wishes Eve luck backstage, and then a stagehand berates him for not taking out the trash yet.  Teddy Long takes a seat to watch the next match.  Wade Barrett video  Match 3: Kaitlyn vs. Eve (winner becomes Booker T's assistant) Eve wins with a swinging neck breaker.  After the match, Eve mocks Teddy Long.  Match 4: Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton  Bryan had the No lock on and Kane's music and pyro hit and Bryan jumped out of the ring. When Kane did not come out, Bryan got back in the ring and took an RKO. Orton wins it.  After the match, Bryan remains in the ring. He says he is not leaving the ring until everyone chants NO! HHH comes out and gives Bryan a Pedigree, and he starts chanting YES! YES! (dark spot for the crowd).  Santino is out to do commentary  Match 5: Antonio Cesaro vs. Zach Ryder Cesaro wins  After the match, Antonio shoves Santino over the announce table.  Match 6: Alberto Del Rio vs. Chris Jericho  Jericho is attacked on the way to the ring by Ziggler. Booker T breaks it up and calls for medics. Back in the ring, Rodriguez announces Del Rio the winner by forfeit. Del Rio calls out Booker T to reinstate his Summerslam match. Instead, Jericho comes out to wrestle. Del Rio wins with the help of outside interference by Dolph Ziggler.  After the match, Del Rio with the cross arm breaker on Jericho as Ziggler talks trash. Sheamus hits the ring and Ziggler bails. Sheamus chases Del Rio into the crowd.  Booker T comes out to the stage and asks Sheamus why he is here. The champ tells Booker to reinstate the match with Del Rio. Booker reluctantly agrees.  Del Rio comes back and brawls more with Sheamus. Del Rio runs off the back and the champ stands tall. ItsClobberingTime
All seems so pointless for a go home show - Hawkins/Reks in a squash? The Sheamus/Del Rio 'call off' is pointless. I just don't care about the majority of it. Â Waiting for the Bryan 'burial' calls now though.
Sexy Dad
I think I'll watch Bryan-Orton as I want to see the two feud. That's the only worthwhile thing on this show and it has nothing to do with Summerslam!

He lost to one of the biggest WWE stars of the past 10 years due to interference.

dangerously420
Is it me or does it feel like storyline/kayfabe wise despite Booker T is a long time veteran wrestler that as a GM he hasn't got good managerial skill at running the B show of WWE? It just comes across like he hasn't got good control of his show where AJ the little skippy girl with little experience in the business is doing a much better job of controlling her show? Paid Members stumobir Posted August 15, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted August 15, 2012 I haven't watched Smackdown for years now, always just read the spoilers and enjoy the recaps of anything major on Raw. After the chore of reading that I'm now asking myself is it even worth reading the spoilers these days, the only thing that would have appealed to me is Bryan-Orton but only if they were feuding, I'm sure it would have been a very underwhelming effort. Presumably nothing to add "on topic" and just being your usual cunty self. Â "You're a cunt Gladstone." Â That would be a better motto. Â

Retro Red
So am I right in thinking Aaron and cactus_stumo are the latest meltdowners/conspiracy mongs and they're picking a fight with Gladstone? This'll go worse than Maven eliminating Taker.
