patiirc
RIP Â Been watching Challenge late at night recently and was suave and sophisticated as the Blockbusters host, gave the programme something special, which has been missing when its been redone since. Also James Bond on the Radio at one point iirc

Richie Freebird
I used to think Blockbuster was well unfair, as a kid. Two against one? Shady bastards.

ItsClobberingTime
Blockbusters was always fun to watch and I learnt shitloads of useless stuff from it. Â It did what Mastermind never manages, which is combine a fun gameshow format with slightly more intelligent questions. Â It's a fine line and the majority of gameshows just insult your intelligence really. Bob gave it an integrity, and the questions were doable but not overly easy either. It was enjoyable and a challenge.

Pier Six Brawler
How would today's average sixth former cope with the questions on Blockbusters? Not very well, I suspect.
