David, have you read Motherwell's statement today? Bit long so don't want to post it all but what I took from it was, "We are voting in a NewCo, please buy season tickets."

St Mirren's statement today is hard to tell how they will be voting:

The Board of Directors as well as all other St Mirren supporters totally understands the sense of injustice felt at this time instigated by the way in which another club in our League has conducted their affairs.

Once all the facts are available to the Board of Directors, they shall take any decisions that are required, in the best interests of St Mirren Football Club only as their guiding line.

The Scottish Football Authorities and Commercial partners, over which we have limited control, have many decisions to make prior to our Board making any valued appraisal.

The Board have a responsibility to make the correct decision for St Mirren Football Club and as Directors of the Company, they have done so over a long period of time, this policy shall continue during this difficult period for Scottish Football.

This is the part that stood out to me the most;

The Directors of any business have a duty to act in the best interests of the company or, in this case, the club. In normal circumstances, decisions are fairly straightforward but in this situation a decision either way is likely to have a significant impact on at least one of our key income streams. It is inevitable that there will be consequences if a business suffers a sudden drop in income. Instead of the usual process of deciding what is best for the club, we are currently faced with trying to decide on which is the least worst option.

The stakes here are high.

When the statement makes reference to it's "main income streams" I'm assuming it's talking about TV money & money from tickets sales and so forth.

It then goes on to say that it must decide on which is the least worst option, which is basically the choice of losing some TV money or losing some fans.

If the club votes in favour of losing some fans over some TV money then the current board simply don't deserve to represent us or our football club.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that two of the main protagonists in this whole Rangers saga are called Green and Whyte?

It hasn't gone unnoticed. Do you know who the last player that Rangers 1873-2012 signed?

Does Daniel Cousin count?

I was making a pun on the name of the club's saviour and a potential name he could have given to his consortium. Sorry to have McWhooshed you.

No, I know exactly what you were doing, which is why I asked you politely to stop being a tit.

Lighten up, you miserable twat.

Seriously man, the whole "jelly & ice cream" lets all laugh at Rangers shite got old months ago. We get it. You're a Celtic fan, mocking Rangers is your thing. Great. There are a million Celtic fan forums full of that kind of childish shite.

It's actually got to a stage now where if the SPL do vote a NEWCO back in I hope they face no sanctions, get a clean slate and wipe the floor with you lot. Just to shut you all up.
