Dixie Stepping Down?

Who's been sexually harrassing people then??

According to multiple employees within Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling, as well as former office employees, TNA President Dixie Carter may have been forced to step down, following the growing number of lawsuits filed against the company.

Our sources confirm S. Bruce of Cageside Seats' report that there are suits pending against TNA, including former "Knockout" women's wrestler Daffney suing for lack of medical coverage; as well as numerous employees reporting the promotion's shady practices to the Better Business Bureau.

The Sports Courier is being told that Carter's mother may be overseeing the company at the moment, while her daughter "lays low" from all of the controversy. If you are wondering why she has not been active in social networking as of late, this is probably why.

The "straw that broke the camel's back" for Carter's reign as president may have been a sexual harassment lawsuit recently filed against TNA, which has been confirmed by multiple sources.

As for Carter's permanent replacement, many names have been thrown around, but one employee very close to the situation tells us that former World Championship Wrestling figurehead Eric Bischoff taking over as TNA President is a very realistic possibility.

Bischoff previously served as WCW President in the mid to late-1990s, in what was a rather successful run, before over-sized contracts, politics, stagnant storylines, and the rise of the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) caught up to him. He later served as the on-air General Manager of WWE's RAW brand, before taking a brief hiatus to work on outside projects.

He is currently an on-air talent for TNA, but is said to have a powerful presence behind-the-scenes.

Keep in mind, Carter could always return to her position as TNA President, when as one source says, "everything clears up." Unfortunately for her and TNA, that does not look to be happening anytime soon. This is further proof that bad business and more so, shady business, will eventually catch up to a company--especially when that company is the number two promotion in professional wrestling.

More on this story as it develops.

So, when the shit hits the fan its Bischoffs fault. When people want to use him as an example of trying to squeeze into the hotseat he's suddenly "on-air talent". Bischoff would never take Carters seat. He runs his own production company, he doesnt give a fuck about wanting to run a wrestling promotion anymore. Anyone who knows anything about anything should know that Bischoff cant be arsed to do the day to day running of a wrestling company at this stage of his life. He's to busy producing quality programing like "Brain Knobs Goes To The Dentist" and "Scott Baio Buys A Hamster and Gets Divorced" to want to get into that game again.

Meltzer basically debu8nked this as being shit. Dixie's mother is apparently controlling the purse strings as they're losing money, but this story is apparently nonsense.

Didn't the original rumour about Dixie come from Honky Tonk Man's website, where he also suggested that Hogan will be walking away from TNA too as his contract is about to expire?

Meltzer is generally spot on with TNA, especially something as big as this. He's mates with a lot of the locker room and no doubt the staff working in the background. Given the way he constantly licks his nuts I imagine minor shareholder Jeff Jarrett is one of his contacts.
