matt_dude Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Hey all. Finally got round to posting on here. Just wanted to bring your attention something I got shown by a buddy of mine, John Canton. If you don't know him, he has his own site where he writes about wrestling, mainly WWE. This is his site- www.thejohnreport.net  Anyway, the following is a blog that's been started by a former creative team member with the WWE who was only recently released. He says he is going to write about Raw every week and also answer questions and talk about general WWE related stuff. There's some interesting stuff in there. Reveals a lot about Vince and his views, and the inner workings of the creative team. Some eyebrow raising stuff too. Give it a read and tell us what you think  www.wrestlingrecall.blogspot.com
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted January 20, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 20, 2011 The John Report sounds like the blog of some malingering tart like Belle De Jour. Â I'm sure it's very good though.
dangerously420 Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I enjoyed reading the latest column on the royal rumble. Good find.
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted January 20, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 20, 2011 The John Report sounds like it should be reserved for someone journaling on their bowel movements.
The Invisible Boy Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Thanks for the links Matt, that blog from the former creative team member is very interesting, can't wait to see his Royal Rumble predictions next week and to see what he says about the possibility of Jericho returning in it. It was also very interesting reading that WWE was having a new cage being made until it got too expensive and this guy writing the blog was actually the guy who wrote Miz's victory speech which he actually opposed Vince to try and get the green light for it and then talked him into allowing it to go ahead.
A.P. Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Thanks very much for posting this up, I've just read the TLC blog and it was very interesting, and something different from the typical internet wrestling guff being written.
Checkmate Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 got a feeling thats big dick johnson since he was recently released from the wwe and was a smackdown writer
King Pitcos Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 got a feeling thats big dick johnson since he was recently released from the wwe and was a smackdown writer It's not. It's John Piermarini: http://twitter.com/JohnAsHimself
Paid Members Ronnie Posted January 21, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 21, 2011 The John Report sounds like it should be reserved for someone journaling on their bowel movements. That's an intentional double-meaning. The guy's been writing for over a decade and has always called his column that. There was a time when his site (The Wrestling Oratory) would have around ten or fifteen highly readable columns up per week, and the joke was that you would print his off for toilet reading.
Snitsky's back acne Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 A couple of recent posts...... Â "Vince
Paid Members Ronnie Posted January 23, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 23, 2011 Well, it's down already. Looks like somebody forgot the non-disclosure agreement he signed. Â He's apparently just shot a four-hour interview with the Torch, however.
dangerously420 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 So whats the deal will his blogging days be over?
Snitsky's back acne Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 A few more bits n'pieces from before the blog was taken down....  The storyline between Daniel Bryan and The Bella Twins was actually first pitched by The Bella's. WWE has planned to run with a similar storyline for Evan Bourne before he was injured.  * There was talk that Drew McIntyre would be the man to take out the Undertaker before it was changed to Nexus.  * On the Undertaker, the plan right now is for him to wrestle Wade Barrett at WrestleMania 27, but of course this could change  * Vince McMahon feels that powerhouse Skip Sheffield could become a top babyface behind John Cena.  * On the Uso's WWE introduction and promo, Vince McMahon didn't understand the hip hop culture and the appeal of the tag-team. The original idea for the Uso's was to present them as the opposite of what you would expect from a Samoan superstar - intelligent, educated and wearing boots while competing.   Interesting about Skip Sheffield.
Loligan Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Vince listening to and using ideas by the Bella Twins? Â The man in my sig would not be amused by this. Â Vince don't know his ass from a hole in the ground!
dangerously420 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Has the whole website and all blogs been taken off or is it just the latest stuff he posted?
