Rory MacDonald is set to face Che Mills at UFC 145 in Toronto.

Ah man that's a tough break for Mills. He was off to a fine start knocking out Chris Cope and now they give him fucking Rory for his second fight.

Dana just announced that the Flyweights are coming 3rd of March - it kicks off with a four-man tournament at the Australia show.

Ian McCall vs Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez vs Yasuhiro Urushitani. The winner of those two fights will then fight each other at a later date to decide who is the first ever UFC Flyweight champion!

This makes the Aussie show more appealing, it's the same card that will have Alves vs. Kampmann, so should be good. Still wish we got a numbered event, we're an awesome crowd, we don't deserve the demotion. The card will be more significant in retrospect now than a Fight Night card.

great news about the Flyweights, guess this is why Ian McCall recently pulled out of a Taichi Palace defence. Great that they've brought him in though, he's been regarded as the top 125'er in the US for some time.

Uncle Creepy's in the UFC!

A bit more info regarding the flyweight tournament and its competitors;

Flyweights are officially coming to the Ultimate Fighting Championship on March 3. UFC President Dana White announced Saturday night at the UFC 140 press conference in Toronto that the promotion will hold a four-man 125-pound title tournament beginning at UFC on FX 2. The man widely regarded as MMA

Where is that article from David? It's abit stupid of whoever wrote it to think Demetrious Johnson is still fighting Wineland 4/5 weeks before this Flyweight fight.

Sherdog.com. They're usually pretty reliable when it comes to shit like this, so I'm surprised they've overlooked something as obvious as that.

it's a bit of a no-lose situation for Mills to be fair. If he loses to Mills, he just lost to the best 170lb prospect in MMA, no big deal, he'll be 1-1 in the UFC and will get another fight...if we wins however he's gonna pretty much announce himself in a big way at 170. Good shit.

anyone see BAMMA? Dunno why Syfy butchered the broadcast down to an hour, the HDNet version in America went tits up too, apparently they pulled the broadcast due to picture problems :(Jimmy Wallhead got another big win though, KO'ing Joey Villasenor early, another big scalp for Judo Jim.Jimi Manuwa got another TKO victory too, that guy just keeps on fucking people up. I can't think of another UK prospect who's ever had the kind of buzz behind that Manuwa has, he's 10-0, he's never fought a big-name really but he went straight into the main event of BAMMA ahead of some big UK names, he's also had the audacity to turn down a UFC offer. Be interested to see where he goes in 2012.

Yeah that was my first thought but I really don't see Mills coming out of that one looking good. Stranger things have happened and like you say, huge for him if he pulls it off. Odd matchmaking though. Rory's not got a lot to gain from it. Coming off dominating Nate Diaz and smashing Mike Pyle I thought he'd get a top 10 guy. Mills is dangerous but outside the UK and hardcores no fucker really knows him yet.

I think he's right to turn down the UFC for now. A lot of people understandably take the chance as soon as they can and it's too soon. It's refreshing that he recognizes he's not ready. Looks good though, I'd like to see him mix it up in Bellator this year. Wouldn't mind seeing him in Strikeforce either now that's being kept alive. The roster needs stregthening.Loved the Wallhead KO. Still wanna see him in the UFC. He's been good enough to be there for a while I reckon.Syfy cutting it to an hour pissed me off aswell.

The Colin Fletcher/David Round fight was a great little fight too. Shame we got such a watered down show.

Yeah forgot that, great comeback for Fletcher too. Loved his entrance and his pic in the prefight graphics.
