Brian Foster is still with the UFC, he was given was one of those deals where he could have a comeback fight outside of the organisation similar to what Danny Downes had earlier in the year. Dangerous risk to take though.

Yeah I thought that aswell but they did actually release him in the end. Marc Fiore posted this on Cage Warriors the other week

Brian Foster was not given permission to fight outside of UFC, he was medically released. We would like to thank the UFC for the opportunity they have given Brian to be a part of their organization. Brian has been medically cleared to fight by a neurosurgeon which works with NFL players and also by two other MD's. Our goal is to keep Brian actively fighting and to monitor his medical well being. Due to Brian being released from the UFC, he will be fighting in Cage Warriors in London and with Capital City Cage Wars in Springfield IL on October 15. Our ultimate goal for Brian is to get him back into the UFC.Fiore MMAMarc Fiore(Brian's manager/trainer)

I'd expect he'll be back soon enough, especially if he keeps performing like he did last night.

Has anyone heard Ariel Helwani's interview with

after UFC 135? The guy is a fucking lunatic! I've never seen someone so far up his own arse than this joker.
I think Seagal is clearly a bit mental, but hes also smart, trying to comfy up to the UFC guys and and get a bit of spotlight.Glad Bones told him where to go.Those yellow Sunnies need to go too.

who? Rogan?

think he means Seagal having beef with Rogan. I wasnt aware there was any beef but if there is maybe Rogan calling one of Seagal's TV shows 'some of the funniest unintentional comedy you'll ever see' during Anderson's walkout vs Chael offended old Steven. He seems mental, like a Little Britain character or something but he clearly takes it all serious. Wouldnt be surprised if he was legit offended by Rogan saying something like that haha.

Yeah, Ariel mentioned it on his radio show last week when they were talking about Seagal. He also said that the crazy camera angle, coming down from the top, was "requested" of him.

i watched Justin Lee Collins interview thing with Seagal and that show probably offers the best insight of how Seagal really is, it's a good watch. The whole UFC-situation is pretty f'n weird though, it's starting to sound like he's a bit of a nuisance.

There was a thread on off topic a few years ago about him never "selling" in any of his films and easilywinning his fights that says it all really about him when he's only ever sold for bullet wounds in that movie were he was in a coma. He also probably thinks the casual fans believe that the top UFC guys are the new toughest guys on the planet as they did the action movie stars in the late 80's early 90's and wants to pretend like he's now there master Sensei or something.
