Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 7, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted November 7, 2020 Big Sergei’s still knocking heads off. I’d still like to see him in the UFC. I don’t care if he’s older, slower and fatter. I genuinely think he’d still be a problem for pretty much all of them outside of Stipe, Ngannou and Blaydes.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 7, 2020 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 7, 2020 Never even knew that fight was happening. Sergei probably looks in the worst shape ive seen him there, still wrecking folk though. Legend.

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 21, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted November 21, 2020 Yeah, Pereira murdered him. There’s more on it on Helwani’s Twitter. He walked out of the cage on his own power but was heard saying to the medics “I was fighting?” Also, Kayla Harrison did this to some poor woman over in Invicta;

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 30, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted November 30, 2020 No way! Tokoro is still going? I was wondering what became of him in that Top 50 fights thread when I reviewed his fight with Abel Cullum. Was sure he must be done by now considering his age and near 50/50 record.

He'd book his own mother to fight a prime version of Fedor if it made him a quick buck.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 30, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted November 30, 2020 Sakakibara is also the only major MMA promoter who’s publicly shown interest in booking 85 year old post-UFC Anderson Silva, for what that’s worth.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 30, 2020 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 30, 2020 surely they try roping Anderson in for NYE.

Rizin could do with an attraction for New Year's Eve, but I don't think they'll be able to bring in outsiders this year. Wouldn't mind watching Anderson Silva beat up a 350lb Rampage Jackson on the 31st of December either. The opposite result though, can do one. Realistically though, I think Anderson is done, for the next while anyway. At his price tag and with the comments many of the promoters have currently made, it might just force him into retirement whether he wants to do so or not.
jimufctna24
I wouldn't mind if Rizin signed Anderson. He'd be a suitable special attraction for their NYE shows.
