More power to anyone who wants to hear more from Regal, I love him as an on-screen character and I’m sure he’s got tonnes of stories and amazing insight, but I thought his appearance on the Jericho podcast was horrendous and I couldn’t get through more than thirty minutes. The way he kept going off on tangents and forgetting his original point was awful, awful audio. Genuinely stressed me out trying to keep track of his line of thought.

I felt the same and was slightly baffled by the positive reception.

I thought it was quite a depressing car crash.

  2. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves on PS5 is ÂŁ21.99 right now on amazon

Dying Light 2 on PS5 is down to £29.99 as well. Been waiting on this one to go down in price so I have bit the bullet there.

All Dualsense controllers are down to around £45 at a lot of retailers as well

  3. Meltzer has made some vague suggestions that there is more to Punk/Page than meets the eye and compared it to Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels.

Havent the faintest idea what he is on about as I simply cannot listen to Dave without falling asleep lately.

  4. If anyone is in the mood for something a bit more old school then I really highly recommend Infernax

It's on Game Pass but I am sure its somewhat cheap on other platforms as well. Its very clearly a love letter to Castlevania and Simons Quest in particular.

It's got everything you would expect from a game like this. NES style graphics, great music, a map you gradually unlock through acquiring new abilities, RPG elements, a day and night cycle...

It's right in the sweet spot of challenging / frustrating as well I think. Its difficult but never so much so that you think you wont be able to progress. Even the most difficult bits should only really take you a couple of tries once you figure out the patterns.

It's also only going to take about 6-8 hours so not a huge time commitment.

  5. Just had a look at the twitter response to the Gervais content. Quite pathetic really.

I don't think I've seen a single person be genuinely offended. Seems to either be people pointing out that its predictable, tired, unfunny shite OR people going "thank u ricky this gives me hope that sanity will prevail" etc.

  6. Piers Morgan thinks its outrageous, offensive AND funny and people who don't like it are too "woke, humourless and dumb to understand the comedy" so YOU KNOW it must be good, yeah?

Seriously though I just saw a clip and he was on about "women with beards and cocks". AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH brilliant m8. This is definitely really, really funny and topical and clever and not tired, predictable nonsense on about the same level as Roy Chubby Brown making jokes brown people and homosexuals to middle aged people with beetroot red faces in Blackpool.

So last night I went too watch Russell brand in blackpool at the winter gardens. He was absolutely incredible and did a very long and fairly impressive show. It was really weird and unique in the sense he did the first half where he came on and did bits and pieces of material but then did some interaction with stuff the audience had submitted when they bought there tickets and that first half alone was a good 45 minutes.......then he had a 20 minute break where he came out and met fans and whatnot, then the second half was the proper show which I imagine at some stage will be a Netflix special. Then that finished he did another bit of meet and greet with the crowd before doing a small meditation session if anyone wanted to stick around and experience it.

Really really funny and immersive show overall however I did feel that it was very political heavy throughout but I suppose that is what you expect from Russell now.

Then this morning the new ricky gervais Netflix special came out and in my opinion it's his best too date. He speaks about woke culture and focuses alot of that sort of area. I absolutely love offensive stand up comedy so this was exactly what I go for with stand up and I absolutely loved it and can't recommend it enough if that is your sort of thing, however I would bet money on by the end of today articles and Twitter will blow up by people that watched and have got offended and upset about every single bit of the special.

When you die you will ascend to heaven as you have lived your life in hell 🙏

Dark shark is hilarious - the bit with the bear had me in stitches.

The English guy with one line? Is he necessary... ?

I didnt think that guy or the Sarah Silverman tribute woman added a single thing.

    Poopies a new MVP though.

I'm not talking about him being on the telly for wrestling or stuff he did 10 years ago. I'm talking about being on the telly last week with a stupid sad face saying he travels all over the world to watch Rangers and he's devastated that they lost on penalties in the final.

Also so many of the posters on this topic are doubting what I'm saying and just acting cynical without any good reason. I have the image saved on my phone but I can't seem to post it on this thread.

I sincerely hope you get the help you need (and I dont mean someone showing you how to post an image online)

  10. Just a couple of things here.

    1. Its already been posted that he was on the telly. The context being a tweet pointing out the absurdity that of all the Rangers fans interviewed it just happened to be a disgraced former pro wrestler / sex offender.

    2. Why the fuck would anyone want you to have their email so you can email them back with a screenshot of this?

    Fucking mental post.

    I shouldn’t but I can’t help myself.

Which Labour policies do you consider to be far left?
Which of our “enemies” was Corbyn sympathetic towards?

he is in the IRA m8

  12. Meshuggah played their first gig since ArcTanGent 2019 last night. It also marked the return of Frederik Thordendal.

Saw some clips and the setlist and I am so, so excited for the Glasgow date now.

Not a Tory but we’re left with this shitshow government because the opposition gaining power was unfathomable.

Corbyn should never have led Labour. The Tories will stay in power until Labour rids itself of the far left element & aligns itself much nearer the centre & re becomes the party of the working class. Unfortunately that appears to be a long way away. The state of politics in Britain & the US is the most shambolic it’s been post WW2

Not a tory BUT *barely coherent ramblings about Corbyn and Labour "RE-BECOMING" (?????) the party of the working class by being centrists*

I’m surprised it’s now the “Wee Jock” thread. He didn’t know his stuff at all. But Big Jock? Big Jock Knew.

I came up with an angle* for the WWE Cardiff show involving Drew McIntyre becoming "Big Jock" Drew McIntyre, Just lean into the flag shagging, Queen loving, Rangers supporting stereotypes. This later involved Finn Balor becoming Sinn 'Fein' Balor. I cant go into further details here as WWE higher ups could be reading and steal my definitely brilliant and logical idea.

*I was not well and had a very high fever at the time
