  1. What was so ā€œšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ā€ about the clip to her in that case?

Not watched yet but I recently came into possession of some HUSTLE shows. No idea why it was called HUSTLE because I donā€™t believe itā€™s an acronym but the cards sound up my street.
  3. BBC done a report on the radio too and within it said they had reached out to Ticketmaster and were told WWE set the prices. They were also told off the record by WWE that prices were as low as Ā£71 for some tickets but nobody at WWE agreed to go on the record with that comment.
  4. Absolutely. Iā€™ve been to a Mania, Iā€™ve been to Clash, I was at MITB, I was at Raw when it came to Glasgow, Iā€™ve been to the house shows on occasion when they come. I would absolutely have still went to this had I not been able to go to London and back for cheaper than a ticket to this event would cost me (minus costs when down there of course). I donā€™t even need a good seat, I sat back row at MITB and was happy enough. I could probably afford it as well if I REALLY wanted to but Iā€™m simply not paying it out of principle (probably an element of fear trying to justify it to the other half too to be fair). The costs have priced out a lot of working class families and even the middle class would baulk at them a bit. Thereā€™s floor tickets for Raw this coming Monday in the US for under Ā£400, a comparable ticket for SmackDown in Glasgow is Ā£1300.
  5. The most frustrating aspect for me is Glasgow, and potentially Scotland, will now be tarred as a ā€œpoor sellerā€ because we probably have more people that just refuse or simply canā€™t afford to pay these prices than say a London or Manchester would so itā€™s doubtful Iā€™ll see a big event on my doorstep again for a long long time.
  6. Right now a seat 11 rows from the back of the building (furthest away available) is Ā£303.50 just for the Clash event and a seat 9 rows (furthest away available) from the back for the Smackdown event is Ā£191.25. The cheapest duo ticket as a resale for 2nd row from the back is Ā£400 meaning the original buyer paid around that.
  7. Looks like BBC have taken the ticket price story on, my mate is one of the quotes. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cg39e53jvdpo
  8. Individual tickets on sale now. Not that Iā€™ll be buying them, cheapest I could see 2 seats together was Ā£470 each.
  9. They hyped Ricochet as inaugural Speed champion and showed the pic of him with his belt then rendered it so meaningless as heā€™s not arsed about carrying it about with him. Why should I care if he doesnā€™t?
  10. I much prefer the current system of not everyone has to wrestle or appear every show. It makes the matches and appearances that little bit more special and stops characters getting oversaturated. Gunther v Sheamus, while granted is a good idea at any time, only sounds better in France now with hindsight of the crowd.
  11. I think The Rock lingering is really going to affect Codyā€™s reign. What reason is there to have an interest in him or his feuds the next few months knowing that itā€™s all just filler until The Rock or Roman returns? I mean itā€™s fair enough at Backlash because this event is always the same for knowing the outcome and you canā€™t do much to change that but where does he go after AJ as far as a credible threat goes as you say? I reckon it will have to be an Orton turn which is a real shame as Iā€™m loving this version of him. Long term storytelling is great and something we should definitely have for the big names but sometimes things just need to pop off unexpectedly too and you need to find another way to get there. Wouldnā€™t be against Cody losing the title to someone around SummerSlam and chasing until the Rumble to keep things interesting. Iā€™m not really in for a year long Cody reign - he had his moment but ultimately suits better as a chaser.
  12. A hot crowd can make a show where nothing is really happening so much better. They were excellent. And I want to know that phenomenal song asap.
  13. Apologies for the double post but thereā€™s been a small twist here. Johnny has decided he wasnā€™t actually a victim and is on Vinceā€™s side again.
  14. My main takeaway was that Logan Paul had a titantron video and I hope thatā€™s the start of their comeback.
  15. Believe most of them are about merchandise rights etc. that save WWE money rather than about paying a wrestler regularly for being a legend. They have dead people on legends contracts through their family so itā€™s definitely something thatā€™s a money saver for them rather than ā€œjob for the boysā€ stuff.
  16. According to Sportico, Nick Khan has filed to sell all of his TKO shares. I wonder if heā€™s jumping before heā€™s pushed here. Not sure why he would get rid of his interests in the company.
  17. Weā€™ll boo any politician here, we even hate the ones we vote for.
  18. Due to the Euros game, I wouldnā€™t have went to the SmackDown show so far too obscenely prices for me to justify the combo ticket cost just for the big event. In fact to be honest, even with no Euros game Iā€™d probably have refused to pay the prices on offer. Cost me less for a flight, hotel and ticket in Cardiff than the prices that were coming up for me for the back row when I live 20 minutes away from this one.
  19. Not sure how it applies to sub-contractors but the FTC today voted to ban non-compete clauses and make existing ones null and void except for senior executives which may be of interest when discussing releases. I know a lot of wrestlers have actually said they like the non-compete as they can regroup a bit while getting paid.
