  1. Monday is usually shopping day so disappointingly, it's not a full house. Was decent enough. Still can't get the Bacon quite right in the Air Fryer though. Toast was off camera.

  2. Let's stir this up.

I could do without Bacon on a Breakfast providing Sausage is included. I'll happily have both, but gun to my head it's Sausage all day.

  3. Thoroughly enjoyable viewing. I tend to mostly ffwd through shows these days but the pacing and overall quality of this made me take it all in. It felt like a really complete package of a wrestling show where everything came off great and you ended up feeling satisfied.

Hopefully tonight is more of the same.

  4. Is anyone watching Rise and Fall? Very similar concept and execution as The Traitors. About halfway through now and whilst I'll likely continue to the end, it lacks the charm of the Traitors and hasn't grabbed me in the same way.

Also, Channel 4 seem to have something in the contract that women need to let the goods hang out. Crikey.

  5. Had a go at that Aldi lasagne earlier.

I'm gonna have to say that as expected, Carbomb's Sister has a more refined pallet than me because whilst it wasn't great, I certainly didn't hate it.

Very much a sad looking, low budget school canteen effort with very minimal meat but kind of enjoyable. Eat Clean indeed, especially for the price. Apologies for the salad.

My sister is a fiend for lasagna, and the one you get from Aldi's chilled section has become her favourite.

    Expecting big things here Carbomb!

  7. I think Burns beats Masvidal comfortably at this point so Leon is better off going with Colby as it'll be a bigger fight than Gilbert anyway.

If he can get through that and the stars align nicely I'd love to see him get the McGregor payday too. I'll be fully honest and say I didn't think he was gonna beat Kamaru in the 3rd fight but fair fucks to him. He deserves to make as much coin as he can.

  8. Every Burger King I've entered for the last 15 years has felt sad and depressing but @Gus Mears is correct, the XL Bacon Double Cheese is king of the fast food burgers. I'd even go out on a limb and say BK has the 2nd spot sewn up too with the Triple Whopper.

    BK is the Carnist crackhouse.

  9. I caught the prelims last night and they were very much enjoyable, especially Davey Grant v Raphael Assuncao... Barmy stuff. Can't help but route for Grant. Seems such a likeable guy that I always wanna see do well.

Skimmed through the main card this morning and there was plenty of good stuff for a low key show. I'll be honest and say I'm not the biggest fan of Merab's style but fucking hell that man puts in some work. Absolutely relentless. God knows what they do with him now and Yan's in no man's land too. If Figgy is coming up to 135 I'd like to see Yan welcome him in to the fold. That would be cracking.

Had the dreggs of my betting account on Merab via decision so nice to be back in the black. Good stuff overall.

  10. I gave one box of the Teacakes to my Dad and I got the "Ooohhh, I haven't had these for years!"

Rang him earlier to do his weekly online shop and he's requested another box!

Ann knows what's she's doing. The sly, old foxy stoat that she is.

  11. If I recall correctly he was 'Phil the Junkman' at one point during the boards very early years but I can't remember him posting much at all. Much like @TheAdder who was also a mod at that time. I'm guessing they were both mates of Moorish when he created the board originally.

The end of Cool Runnings, when they finally cross the finish line and we get the big Disney-score key-change as Derice hugs Irv destroys me on every watch. Not a dry eye in the house.

In fact, the end of any Disney underdog sports movie where the ragtag-upstart-team triumphantly comes from behind to win the big game against the odds. It's stupid, and I know the formula off-by-heart, but something about the music cues and the nature of it reduces me to tears without fail.

I love this film and that scene so much I drew it on here 12 years ago!  Breaks me everytime.

    Photobucket ruined it :(

With Nick Peet being so close to Till you'd have to imagine it's legit.

Till has looked knackered for a while so maybe he's thinking some extended time off is needed but all I can see is him hitting the beers and crashing another taxi in Ibiza.

As always I underestimate the amount of food I cook so there's a bit of plate crowding going on. Bacon, sausage and hash brown were cooked in the air fryer. Bacon looks quite light but it was really good. I'll give myself minus points for tlhe Butch toast. Plus points for tinned sausages and beans.

  15. I don't have any skin in the Khan/Helwani debate but I think it's disgenious to say Ariel is only there because of Nick Khan.

His gig with BT started as a UFC only thing which then spread into doing bits for WWE.  Dana eventually got him canned from BT's UFC stuff but it seemed like BT and ESPN at the time did all they could to keep him, even with Dana doing what he could to sabotage him.

By all accounts he has a good relationship with Trips and Steph and a lot of the talent, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in an on camera role down the line in some heel manager type role. He'd be pretty good at it too I'd imagine.
