First time I've watched an AEW show top to bottom and I gotta say it was great. The pacing seemed spot on and there was hardly any filler in between matches to make it feel like anything was was dragging. The bouts themselves were all easy to watch and nothing felt out of place. I usually find myself fading badly towards the end of most wrestling shows but after that double pin in the main event I felt a little deflated and actually grinned like a goon when it continued.

MJF is a megastar 

Jericho's entrance was fucking great and I thought he had a banger with Osprey (Cut him some slack you nasty bastards) 

Stadium Stampede was a little much for me but the closing stretch was super fun

Darby Allin will be retired before Sting at this rate. 

Only negative was seeing the Knights paraded out like they mean anything.

Anyway, Bart vs the Space Mutants was a difficult game due to the controls/physics, but the first level (past which I saw little) captured the feel of the show tremendously. Making a prank call to Moe so that he'd come out of his Tavern was inspired.

That first little bit walking down the town of Springfield was cracking and made me beam as a kid. So many call backs. It proper put you in the world. 

All went to shit soon after though. There was a bit I think maybe in Krusty's funhouse where you had to pass over a huge gap in the floor on these jets of air... Never made it past that bit. Infuriating.

Went to visit a mate that night in the city centre, and he took me to a place on (IIRC) the corner of either Newton Street or Lever Street where we could get a lovely foil rectangle full of rice and 3 for a very reasonable £5. Naturally I shared a photo to the work group chat, and I think it may have set a record for the quickest simultaneous reply by 5 or 6 people of "Fat bastard."

Needless to say, I had the last laugh.

Just an update from my growing. 

Sweet Corn has shot up to around 4/5 foot foot since I last posted. It's a little early for the cobs yet from what I've read but I'm amazed how much they've grown in a month. 

The Kale on the other hand is just relentless. I can't eat it quick enough! Tried to mix in a few Mint plants to deter bugs as they seem to be enjoying it too. We haven't bought any Supermarket Kale for about 4 weeks now which is great. Out of everything I've grown, this stuff is just so easy. It regrows super quick and should last well into the Winter. What a plant. 

Plenty of Tomatos on the go but only a few have started to ripen. Might snip off a few vines and leave them inside on a windowsill and see if that helps. 

Good stuff. Costa / Chimaev has me stupidly excited. Build up should be fun.

You have to think this is the end of Chimaev at 170lbs now which I feel is a shame.

I quite enjoyed this although the final episode wasn't much cop.

The series does contain one of the greatest 'reality TV edit outs' of a person that I've ever seen. I had absolutely no idea they existed til around episode 6 or 7. What a hit job. 

I always grab a multipack of the meaty McCoy's rip offs from Aldi. The Bacon Sizzler is passable but the Flame Grilled Steak and the Thai Sweet Chicken are pretty great. 

The yesterday I spotted these for the first time... 

At just over a quid these are absolute class. The 'Sharing' tag is unrealistically optimistic. 

Took part in a 10 mile London Street Skate yesterday starting at Hyde Park. Was aptly entitled 'Bushwackers'. Had so much fun. Never seen so many people on skates. 

I have no idea if he's a massive Trump fan or not. The video I saw showed him jumping out the Octagon to make a beeline for him though. Either way, my input in this was that I'm not arsed about their politics or whatever social ideas they allign with. As you've said before David, they punch each other in the head for a living. What do we expect.

It's six of one and half a dozen of the other. You've got plenty to get stuck into with cage fighters as we're all aware of where the majority stand. You can call me uninformed or ignorant if you like, but I come here to read/talk about the fights, not which political party they support or which ever twat influencer they endorse. If that's your game, then please crack on. Not for me though. 

Can we leave all the 'Andrew Tate lover' stuff please? Tate is a twat no doubt, but the vast majority of fighters appear ultra right, Trump nuts (DDP went over to chat to him post fight himself and appeared enamoured with it all) 

If we're gonna use their political opinions and who they are fans of as a grounds to like or dislike them then we're gonna be left with pretty slim pickings. 

I'm not bothered about in ring stuff much these days but the crowd with their ridiculous energy levels and a handful of cool little surprises were enough to make this a really fun and engaging show. The pomp and pageantry of entrances is more my bag and this didn't disappoint. Cody, Rollins and Cena being showered with noise was just great. Ear to ear grinning fun. 

The Mania at London stuff was some great shit-housery.

I just need to know if there are a ridiculous number of spring board and Plancha! Style moves near the ropes and if you can do the Doomsday Device in tag matches?

Sods law, i have a few hours free today but not tomorrow or the day after…

Not sure if this stuff still works, but people used to change their console timezone to Australia / New Zealand etc to get around this. 

I know the majority here are far into the bubble, but do people actually think they won't end up working together? No way is Punk coming back to sit on some C show away from all of them. There is far too much money left on the table and the logistics of keeping them apart indefinitely are just too much hassle. 

Heat was an absolute killer, but I finally painted the side and back fence of our garden last week. Really happy with how it came out but it's left the little bit of decking we have looking terrible in comparison now, so that'll be next on the list. Excuse the grass, it's been watered and looks a bit healthier now.

Been a few weeks and the Mrs is away so thought I'd treat myself. Forgot black pudding in the shop but it was very decent overall

I tried to crop him out but as always, Hogan must pose.

When I leave the room he'll probably look up to the Heavens in disbelief and finally hand the belt over to the Koala. What a prick.
