The thing is, a WWE guys schedule practically demands drug abuse. Whether that’s aderol to stay awake; downers to get to sleep or a fuck load of the latest Mexican gorilla piss to help your body recover from 5 nights a week wrestling plus workouts plus travel.

It’s not even a real sport, it’s frankly obscene we expect them to be anything other than geared off their tits.

It's arguably obscene they expect us to not be geared off our tits to watch it most of the time......

  2. I thought this weeks' show was a hell of a lot of fun. More so than Eddie Edwards did anyway..... I've always found Callihan to be wreckless. He's even worse in Lucha Underground.

They've built up this Impact special next week relatively well and hopefully can retain some momentum going in to the PPV in April, sadly not taking place in Toronto anymore but you know where :(

  3. Maybe the 'kayfabe' toughest test yet with defence No.9 I believe it is.....

I think this was the promotion where Jocephus and Tim Storm first met so seeing as Jo was teasing interrupting one of these bouts and we're due an update, maybe this is where it will happen.

  4. On paper I thought last weeks show was going to be quite good but it was not. They have started wrestling a bit more but the editing is awful (maybe butchered for our version I dunno because it use to be better), the commentary team is dreadful (I know it was a last minute change because Borash) and they've hired (and fired) more shitarse women!

And Del Rio is still about. Instant channel changer material!

  5. Yeah so far it's just interview clips. Edited or extended versions of stuff that appears on the youtube channel or an old interview with Corgan soon to be joined by the one I posted previously. I have soundcloud so I listen on there. I like the idea.

We're a long way from an 'NWA Network.' Long long way....... Especially as Corgan is putting out even the first taped shows on youtube for free to build the fanbase.

Booking Ellsworth was never going to create a classic. It's purely for name recognition while it's relevant. That match has garnered 130,000 views and 3000+ new youtube subcriptions in 3 days. I'd say it achieved it's purpose. Expect Rich Swann at some point.

Needless to say Aldis defeated Bram and Big Grizzly in defences 2 and 3, the latter of which happned in a far more professional looking company.

  6. Corgan has announced Aldis defends against Tommy Dreamer at House Of Hardcore on March 24th. This shot was given to Dreamer when Storm was champion.

Seems like the NWA World Title could end up being HOH's main belt going forward. They seem to have a pretty rock solid working relationship going on.

I watched HOH 37 on Twitch the other day. It's like ECW never went away. I love it. Nice mixture of ex-WWE talent, veterans, Lucha Underground guys in limbo. 2300 arena looks great these days too.

  7. I think this went pretty much how I expected it to. One really good but far too long match and one more incredible performance. The rest was just average to expected. Doesn't look like Ciampa is quite ready to go yet.

I don't think I agree with EC3 going to NXT. I hope this is a swerve because he's so main roster ready it's untrue and Smackdown is crying out for him. Wins Rumble haha!

What 3 shows came above it out of interest?

An old war film at No.1 with 187,000, which is pretty standard for this channel. It's always a Statham movie or an old war film from some afternoon. World's Wildest Weather at 2 (again if it's not Police Interceptors it's some disaster footage related show), and the awesome Spartacus show at 3 with 167,000.
