Anyone remember that guy they built up with vignettes for several weeks as a big deal only to have Joe destroy him on his debut (obviously that was the whole point)? Can't remember his name. Is he still knocking around?

Are they gonna stick this 'Starrcade' show on the Network? It looked pretty stacked. I haven't read the results but it looked like there could have been a title change maybe.

There's an LAX Vs oVe 'Barbed Wired Massacre 3' coming in a few weeks which has peaked my interest slightly. Other than that Petey Williams was in the main event fighting for the World Title last week in a match I refuse to watch for that reason.

I'm surprised Paige is still *this* over given the events of the last year. Or maybe that's why.

Anyway the division needs a shake up like this.

It's a lot more interesting than what's going on with Impacts' World Title.

I really like this 'soft launch' approach that Corgan is going with. Right now he has a sexy belt and a champion. He has an existing TV product (however low budget) on which to showcase what he needs to to create videos for the NWA youtube. He has working agreements with HOH and now CZW to push his champion. Obviously 'Championship Wrestling from Hollywood' is not the plan going forward but it'll do until they are ready to tape shows which according to interviews will be around Spring.

I feel like the agents who put together the matches are far less experienced than WWE's, if they even have agents in Impact. It's all so indy style I kinda feel the wrestlers are throwing it together on the fly or just aren't putting any effort in, despite the fact they claim they are.

Border City Wrestling looks so much more watchable than what goes on in the Impact Zone. Look at that crowd, and it's clear to me now that the 6 sided ring is what is hindering my enjoyment.

Oh yeah, i've found it as unwatchable in long form as I do Raw lately, just making do with 15 minute highlight videos. It's the match quality. I find it so uninspiring. Nothing wrong with the production, backstage stuff, Mexico and Japan highlights etc, I just can't stand the action. It just doesn't fit the promotion currently.

Hoping for some improvement after the PPV, as I always do.

EDIT: I should also note that my initial point is more to do with the fact the Impact Womens division is truly one of if not THE worst things I've ever seen in wrestling.

Tessa Blanchard will apparently be debuting for Impact this weekend/next week. Seems a shame as she just got everything together for a proper NXT run after the MYC.

I honestly love everything about NXT as oppose to Smackdown which I can watch in about half the time it's meant to take, and Raw which I find totally unwatchable currently other than in 20 minute youtube form.

It doesn't have to be 5 star matches everyweek. Sometimes it's nice when nothing happens but the action is still good and the booking in most cases is perfect. As long as they keep the Takeovers strong, squash matches, inexperienced women and a feud the magnitude of Black/Dream is utterly acceptable to me.

I think the belts have just had the Global Force part replaced with an Impact plate from what i've seen. Looked alright from the pic of the womens belt I saw.

Not even Shawn Michaels could have a good match with Jinder Mahal. Shinsuke has been booked appallingly but it's easily turned around by a series with AJ or a Rumble win.

Better than No Mercy but everything in the middle was miss-able. The main event delivered for me. The tag Cell match wasn't actually as good as the PPV Kickoff show bout those two teams had back at Backlash/Summerslam(?)

I just started to watch ECW TV from 1993. It's fascinating. I mean mostly shit, but fun and fascinating nonetheless.

I had NO idea Sandman use to have an awful surfer gimmick. Snuka is good value all full of cocaine. Not sure what the big deal about Eddie Gilbert was but I assume he's past his prime here, much like many of the performers.

Well, that was a load of shit.

I'm absolutely positive that Braun wins and marches all the way to Mania.
