  1. The following has happened since the Money In The Bank match when the final shot was Otis and Asuka holding the briefcases.

Otis lost the briefcase to Miz when Tucker turned heel on him. Tucker has wrestled two matches on television since, one being a 38 second loss to Ricochet.

Otis has turned heel and is Shorty G's tag team partner.

Asuka went from being a entertaining act to quite possibly the worst RAW women's champion since the 2016 brand spilt.

This company really doesn't know how to book professional wrestling anymore

They're doing a sunday special on Bleacher Report on 28/2 with Riho/Thunder Rosa Eliminator Tourney as the big match to catch on the show.

State of the reaction this will get in some places. Honestly I can't hear the most basic complaints about the women in AEW without hearing it in Milhouse and his firework factory voice.

Proper big opportunity this, and actually putting on a women's match is a better option. But yeah, I'm sure the promotion just hate women or something blah blah.

It is the opinion of the of wrestling fans of today. I swear the average IQ of fans under the 25 is below 80

The entire womens division is completely over-rated, you lot who keep stanning it hard are making Wrestling shit as they showcase more matches over people who can actually put on a decent compelling match.

All so you can have a wee willy wanky.

    For shame.

    OK Jordan Peterson

  4. Wrestling wise the show was fantastic except for the women's title match which was so cursed it belonged in The Way.

Post main event angle was real good. UE are probably going to be stuck on Wednesdays for eternity so you might as well break them up. Cole as the heel and Kyle as the face is correct to

As for the Drake signing, I just don't see it from WWE/NXT standpoint. He's old enough to be in the Raw Elimination Chamber. While he's OK in the ring, he's not at the calibre of those we saw on Vengeance Day from the male side. He'd be perfect as an announcer but Wade is there and perfect for that role. Still better than Dexter Lumis though, not difficult though

I’m probably reading a bit too much into it, but did anyone else find having an advertisement for the Nightmare Family BLM T-shirt, then an hour later having an angle similar to the murder of James Byrd a bit tonedeath? Or am I finding something that isn’t actually there

Honestly I haven't seen anything online with people being upset. If anything people were more annoyed when Jake put the snake on Brandi all those months ago claiming animal cruelty.

FWIW, the angle sucked because it looked like the brainchild of Kevin Dunn and this whole Darby/Sting vs Team Tazz feud has got very samey very quickly

Thatcher and Ciampa aren't a real team. I don't think it'd be a massive deal beating them. This way they've got two proper teams in the final and a clear face/heel divide.

Hasn't the Dusty Classic been won by teams that haven't been "real teams". Joe/Balor come to mind as well as Riddle and Dunne

  7. The Gargano segment was awesome. The Beautiful Day mention was a very rare funny one liner in modern day WWE. Good on Trips for being to laugh at himself.

Found out this morning that Cameron Grimes for real bought AMC stock during the whole Gamestop deal and made a ton of money which makes the whole Southern Million Dollar Man deal even better

Not sure its the greatest idea to have Kacy Cantanzaro go anywhere near a 1,000 year old woman at the moment.

Surprised they had Thatcher and Ciampa lose to Grizzled Young Vets. If they want MSK to win The Dusty Classic beating Thatcher and Ciampa would be a bigger deal on the road to victory surely?

  8. What I loved about last nights show was how well the characters are put together.

Sammy Guevara told Jericho if MJF fucked with him one more time he was quitting the Inner Circle and he was a man of his word.

Adam Page outsmarting Hardy was great to see. Basic wrestling logic should have the good guys being smart.

Omega playing golf and needing his ego placated by Callis dropping the ball into the hole was a great heel thing. I also like Alex Marvez in this situations.

Also, AEW know how to do a falls count anywhere match don't they?

Is it only me who looks at that Elimination Chamber lineup and thinks it’s very likely they’ll do a last minute switch and put the title on Orton? I don’t for a second believe Edge vs. Orton for the Title is in their Wrestlemania plans right now, but seeing Randy listed in that match gives me serious Goldberg vs. Bray Wyatt vibes. They’re going to get to the day of the show, things are gonna be ice cold, they’re going to panic and go with the oldies like they always do.

Plus, why stray from tradition now? Might as well keep it going. Edge returns after eleven years, with tonnes of new guys to wrestle in loads of interesting and exciting match-ups, but only ever wrestles Randy Orton until the end of time.

It would be very WWE in 2021 for them to book Edge vs Orton but what motivation would Edge have to pick Orton.

The sadist in me would like Edge to pick WALTER. Give me half an hour of the Austrian Dominic Mysterio hitting Edge very hard over and over again

Oooh, here's one. Angry Mike Tenay on Worldwide in 2000. Especially when it was him and Scott Hudson calling Him and Scott Hudson the internet commentary team when they were in sight of the camera when it was Thunder footage

I vaguely remember heel Mike Tenay but have no idea if it was any good.

Quick search on YouTube during Superbowl halftime was inconclusive

The Steve Cutler release is quite interesting, as the reason for him being released is that he turned up for a Smackdown taping and tested positive. Which on th surface sounds quite harsh, but it has since been released that he attended (or hosted) a New Years Eve party and that's how he contracted COVID and turned up for Smackdown ensuring everyone he is as fine. Roman being immunosuppred, Vince has ensured a safe workspace so when Cutler turned up and tested positive, Vince flipped his lid

Deonna Purrazzo has put a post on twitter calling people out for hypocrisy etc.

Is this the point when I mention that Ricochet and Kacy Cantanzaro do not believe in social distancing

I’m not sure why they need to persist with Kevin Owens/Reigns though. That feels over.

One of the things about wrestling that annoys me is when the guy who loses just moves on. I like the idea of KO just going "I know you've beaten me a hundred times but I'm still coming for you". God loves someone who tries

I appreciate what Daniel Bryan is trying to achieve on the way out, but god he’s cooling himself off.

This kind of thing wouldn't have been tolerated in the 80s.

Have I remembered it wrong or was Cody’s mixed tag match originally announced for the Pay Per View, then switched to Dynamite? Makes me wonder if they rehearsed it and realised it could never be done live due to Shaq and Jade’s inexperience, so they’re going to pre-tape and edit it.

Looks like the PPV will be on the same weekend as the NBA all star game which Shaq will be working on.

I reckon 'compromised to a permanent end' is Vince McMahon speak

It could be that John Cena is a robot.

Listening to Wrestleme covering the Cena/Nikki vs Miz/Maryse match and watching back the stuff leading to the match and the match. Miz's parody hits very close to home.

Mental that the Royal Rumble winner and the guy that's about to headline Wrestlemania, shows up advertised, and not a single shit was given. Product's ice cold.

I can just about live with Marc Lowrance, just about, but yeah Bill Mercer was absolute fucking dogshit.

Other dump - Lee Marshall. Great voice, shite announcer

I enjoyed Marc Lowrance in the Embry/Akhbar feud. I would guess Jerry Jarrett coached him to that adequate level
