What I didn't get was the "It's Romans fault Dean Ambrose left WWE" spiel.Â
Can someone explain to me how that's the case in either "kayfabe" or reality. The line made no sense and as for the reference to winning the belt and blowing him a kiss goodbye. I wonder how many casuals that don't give an arse about the backstage stuff put CM Punk into their Google and realised that next Friday something really interesting is happening that isn't going to be on Smackdown.Â
Also, this obsession with the missionary position in their promos is getting creepy. Get a room guys. Tbf I'm rooting for them to hook up more than I was Indi and Dexter Lumis

Reading some stuff this morning, it's occurred to me that the biggest mistake NXT made was not putting on a proper show on New Years Day 2020.Â
They had AEW on the ropes. NXT looked really strong in WWE canon at Survivor Series and on 18/12 they not only beat AEW in total viewers but also in 18-49 which apparently is the real number. NXT was the one with momentum with Rhea Ripley looking like a star after winning the women's title while AEW had an awful show with that Dark Order/Elite angle at the end.
But then on New Years Day, NXT did an awards show while AEW put on a proper show which was the start of the Hangman Page arc. AEW did a really good number close to a million which wouldn't have happened had NXT had done a proper show that night and they haven't looked back since.Â

Legends night at the start of this year actually turned out to be WWE's version of the Red Wedding

They'll get a better result than asking those fuckwits that run the ITV twitter accounts
My theory has always been that the guy who ran that account quit and took the password with him

I have I stumbled upon a 2003 discussion?
They are leaving money on the table if TNA don't give the NWA belt to Monty Brown.

I hear Jerry Lawler used to do something similar.Â
What have Jerry Lawler and Dave Meltzer's star rating have in common?Â
They both go up to seven.Â

After a binge watch of 90s AJPW during lockdown, I tried 1990s AAA and I gave up after a day mainly because babyfaces submitting really annoyed me. Why should I cheer you on when you quit as soon as a submission is applied. I don't care if its the first fall of a 2/3 falls match and it might be because you are saving yourself for the second fall. I think its really stupid.Â

Think it was half way through the Christian / Hardy match but the JR comment "I'm so glad we have time limits" seemed very sarcastic and snide. It was met with complete silence by Excalibur and Tony Schiavone.
Tbf JR has been going on about time limits forever. In the pre-Conrad days of his podcast, it seemed that he would go on about that should be time limits in matches as well as asking whatever guest was on that week what he thought of CM Punk leaving WWE.Â

Remember when that Elite vs Dark Order segment completely died on its arse at the end of 2019.Â
19 months later a 10 man tag between a face Dark Order and a heel Elite is going to blow the roof off the arena.Â

Question about Cornette. He's publicly admitted that he has anger management issues. Has he ever seeked help for it?

3rd documentary/interview pulled from the Network just as its going to be shown in a short amount of time.Â

There is no way AEW is leaving money on the table and doing Page vs Omega on free television 6 weeks before a PPV. If they break their record for PPV buys (159,000) by a thousand they rake in $8 million.Â
Question is, what do they do for Fight For The Fallen. Page in a No. 1 contender match perhaps (maybe a gauntlet match and Page via the luck of the draw, draws No. 1 and ends up winning) or a Elite vs Dark Order match with Page getting the World title match if Dark Order wins.Â

I'll add Sting winning the title at GAB 1990. I saw the VHS from this event in Discount Video in Birmingham Pallasades when I was 11 and everything from Sting's mega theme at the time which WCW changed to "Man Called Sting" because WCW everybody to Jim Ross' commentary to the post match celebration and Sting marking out when he saw the firework mural of himself was mesmerising. I don't collect wrestling collectables but when I saw his figure from that Bash a couple of years ago I bought it.Â
Only one question comes from that night. How stupid is WCW to have messed Sting up?Â

Jimmy Uso has been arrested on another DUI. Wonder how this will affect the current storyline or whether he will get a suspension?
The most thing to take from this isn't whether a storyline can continue. The most important take from this is that Jimmy Uso can fuck right off.Â

Commentary was a shambles when Zelina came out. Like she’d never been away.
Tbf it's not like when The Rock returned in 2011.Â
I'm not it's the smartest idea to have someone who isn't good at the wrestling in a Money In The Bank match. It could be a recipe for disaster.Â
Also, Zelina deleted her "I support unionsisation" tweet

I mean that's not always true. It can be down to shoving things down people's throats or changing characters etc. It's often down to bad booking. I don't think it'll happen with AEW. They seem smarter than that. He'll be a great WWE champion.
You're JR aren't you?Â
