It's a weird line, because rivalry is good. They aren't "enemies" would be more accurate ; WWE should want to see AEW thrive. If Cargill works out then you'll have two examples along with the return of the reinvented and reinvigorated Cody as to why rivalry is really important and a second successful company benefits WWE.

Yeah, I thought Heyman was excellent when asked about it. Triple H is just that shit munching smug bastard who still thinks he's fighting WCW

  2. Yup that Celebrity one was huge. It felt like everyone was watching that. Also had the added thing of Chantelle not being a celebrity but passing herself off as one. They cast that series fantastically.

I might be an outlier, but I loved the fourth season. I quite liked the fact that they all got along; sometimes constant arguments and drama makes a series a bit uncomfortable and unpleasant to watch.

They got rid of John Tickle. Unforgivable

  3. Yeah they need to get it back to what it was. With things like Love Island etc. you essentially have what BB was ramping up to. It peaked at Series 5 with the mix of nutters and normals. That can't be topped

  4. Gerard Butler made DEN OF THIEVES he has a pass.

Big Crowe is great. He's having a fecking blast in THE POPE'S EXORCIST

I watched EL CONDE on Netflix. It's about Pinochet being a vampire. It doesn't quite work, but the last act genuinely is one of the most batshit things. I had absolutely no idea where it was going (though perhaps obvious now) Would give it a go if you can. Looks very good.

  5. Edge in AEW is one of those things you just didn't think would happen. And it has. Perfect signing for them post Punk.

Christian rules. We might finally get a banger of an Edge/Christian feud.

The show was fucking great and Danielson is just next level. I honestly think he may be the best of all time in the ring.

If he had made those comments off air to his mate, it would just be a distasteful conversation but to say it in public where he knew she would hear it, I think is harassment.

Absolutely it is. It's bringing a woman's appearance into a news item and then commenting on the sexual nature of that woman. She didn't asked to be talked about like that and it was in no way relevant to the point they were discussing. It also adds to a discussion about how she looks which has nothing to do with her job

Just for clarification, I don’t believe he gets his jollies by looking at kiddy porn, or even looked at any. I think he went about whatever point he was trying to make in a fucking stupid way.

Fair enough. And not particularly a fan of the band,, I just think when lumping certain people in with sex offenders it rather dilutes the point they make as its rather uninformed, which is not the point you were trying to make but the original posters.

  8. If Cole is injured, they have to do him and Roderick skits in hospital together.

MJF. Not much more to say. Has taken to babyface like a duck to water. I was always a bit on the fence with him. He's utterly won me over. If Cole is out for a while they need something big with him.

Eddie winning. Who doesn't love him?

Didn’t it take Townshend, quite a prolific writer, about a decade for his book that he was “Researching” to come out after he got done for noncing? And he said he was trying to prove a link between the banking system and paedo rings. Ok Pete, that’s why you did it, sure.

Again, he's pretty much spoken about this and if you read the book it goes into full details. The Met have said nothing was found, no proof of accessing the sites with child content. The Who did a new album and went on tour, at Daltrey's insistence given what had happened. Also not entirely sure going straight back to writing that book was on his mind straight away given what happened.

All the facts on that case are out there. Whether you believe him or not is up to you, but as mentioned, absolutely nothing was found on his computers or that he had accessed anything. I would say that's a pretty fair defence of the guy.

Yesh, but still why that needs that sort of research I'm not sure. Still off topic and Pete Townsend is by all accounts a nob

He's spoken about it. Its also in his book. Its been out there for years.

"Authorities could not prove that the website accessed by Townshend involved children, and no incriminating evidence was found on his computer. The Met stated that "it was established that Mr Townshend was not in possession of any downloaded child abuse images"

So I don't think lumping him in there is really fair given that. He was told to accept a caution and he did, which he shouldn't have probably.

"Researching a book", although the question of what he's writing about that needs him to research that never really got clarification.

Pete Townshend from the Who seemed to escape a media backlash too after “accidentally” logging onto a child porn site for “research purposes”.

Towensend was quite famously abused as a kid. Its literally in loads of his songs and he has spoken about it. His book did come out and it deals with what happened to him as a child,

He was seen as having paid for a site but I believe it was proven he never accessed it and his computer etc were clean.

He told to take a plea so as to avoid court and allow him to still tour. Badly advised really but he's an emotional guy and he probably would have hit a judge.

Whenever you see that “MSM won’t cover this” bullshit, either they ARE covering it, or the story is bollocks so they don’t / are proof of the conspiracy of suppression.

Also, they always bring up Prince Andrew, like their main 'THEY HIDE THINGS' channel in the BBC, literally exposed the man as a huge bullshitter on  Saturday night prime time.

Throw in the Epstein thing. Well the media MAY be investigating this. We just wouldn't know. Ian Hislop used to say investigative reporting is boring, tedious and expensive with so many legal/blind alleys. Can you imagine a major news organisation investigation looking into something like that? Would take ages. But then again, I bet they wouldn't believe it at all, as they don't believe the MSM.

Has he? They aren’t consistent - how many other YouTubers have been acted in horrible ways and yet remain monetised? A fair few.

If YouTube has strong evidence that these allegations are all true, then they should suspend the channel. All they're doing now is earning OFF it (his next video on there will get huge eyes on it) maintaining his batshit audience and fueling their conspiracy nuts theory around all this,

This doesn't mean that I think he's innocent. I believe the allegations against Brand, anyone around Camden at certain points in the 2000s has or heard stories (along with another long haired comedian) Good on the thorough reporting, and I hope more people can feel they can step forward with their stories. The fact he hasn't answered any of the legal questions after 8 days (which is quite a fair time for a paper to offer) shows both arrogance and fear.

As for the the mad defenders, most it seems have seen this as the latest culture war boat to jump on. They don't actually believe a lot of what they're saying. It's a way of making THEM relevant. Most seem to have not even read the article with the texts etc. I guess they wont pay for the MSM.

Racist language aside, this will always be one of my all time favourite scenes due to the performances of the actors.

The language is what makes it. Hopper is utterly goading Walken and he knows what buttons to press

I watched The Matrix Resurrections last night on Amazon Prime. I really enjoyed it, but I am a big fan of all the Matrix films. I could see why people wouldn't enjoy it, but I thought it was well done. I'm pretty sure there won't be another given that it flopped at the cinema.

I remember thinking it was quite funny and clever how it was done. Basically taking a potshot at the franchise in a lot of ways.

Punk lasted 56 days after he came back and they launched Collision. And, really, you could say he couldn't even go half an hour without stirring some shit (Counterfeit Bucks).

To be honest that line seemed to hint that eventually they would work together. I'm convinced had he put his head down they would have. But alas

I've only seen up to episode five, but the new one could really have done with more crime of the week stuff to keep it interesting like early Justified did. Harlan was an amazing character all on its own, without seeing the smaller stories Detroit doesn't have the same charm.

Well they have adapted the book on this one, switching Raylan in. The original took the elements of the character in the various Leonard books, and the novella and had the freedom to do more.

I think they will do a few more of these, so perhaps like the original series, they will see what really worked and what they can add
