  1. Becky just became switch the channel for me. Maybe I can never trust someone who wants to be around Seth Rollins that much
  2. Rewatched the match and it's just excellent and perfectly built. The mad thing is they probably have more to do when they go again.
  3. That Ospreay/Danielson match somehow over delivered. What an absolute belter. Not seen a match that good in a long time, helped by a great crowd who were into it. Swerve winning was great. It felt like they had to put the belt on him now or he may lose some momentum. Joe has been brilliant, looked every bit the man in his run. AEW always nail PPVs really. I don't think they've had many bad ones. Hopefully with Swerve at the top they can get some momentum going. Also, I really like the new Bucks gimmick
  4. True but things change very quickly. Post Mania we'll see where we shake up. No doubt Dynasty will be a banger and hopefully MJF/Omega etc back means it will step up a gear going into Wembley. This was a stupid thing to do but I think there is a slight over reaction here. What needs to change is for them to run smaller arenas, hotter crowds. Get the feeling back. I'm still baffled by Tony Khan's thought process here. What did he think would happen? Go and do a podcast and show the footage if you must.
  5. WWE is on absolute fire at the moment. It clearly has an affect on the competition. AEW is on a bit of a downer but they're still pulling in decent numbers. Obviously there is stuff they need to do better. The annoying this is bringing this back up has undone some of the good work they have been doing. It's pointless
  6. Yeah, he slapped him. That was fucking stupid as well but they seem to have put that behind them.
  7. Just waiting for Drew to call him Jungle Pepsi or something and he'll lose his shit. There's been no fights in the AEW locker room bar the Punk one either it seems. He's the only one still doing this stuff.
  8. But you respect a man who assaults his co-workers. Got it Why would that stop you going to ALL IN? Because some wrestling promoter did petty shit? I would never be at a wrestling show if that was the case
  9. I think a lot of people who might not watch it regularly will have tuned in for the segment through curiosity. Not talking huge numbers but I imagine it will be up from the last few weeks. Problem is there's no real pay off with this.
  10. That was just bland. We all know he was a prat for punching someone and was rightly fired. If they were showing the footage, I thought they would make it funny or something. Have The Bucks do commentary and put the boot in. This was just...what? I don't see how it pushes ANYTHING forward. Nobody is going to change their mind on this. It will pop a rating, but it was all very desperate Bischoff in late 98. I don't see how this benefits Perry. Not the way I would have gone with him. The only person who has won is Drew, who will have an absolute field day with this. Probably will put his hair in a ponytail every time Punk talks. The rest of the show was 'meh' with a shit crowd. If you're gonna drop the footage at least do it on a show which is a banger. Ospreay's line was pretty shit but throwaway. Should have just said I turned you down mate so stop crying and put over the company. Too much to ask. All in all I think AEW are really missing Omega/MJF/Hangman. They need two of these on Dynamite. It just doesn't feel like AEW at the moment despite the good work of Joe/Swerve etc.
  11. He has history with Old' Jungle Boy.
  12. Yup. It's hilarious when people seem to forget Vince fucking loved taking shots at WCW. Hell even when he was kicking the shit out of them he sent Big Show out dressed as Hogan to mock him. They only stopped mentioning competition when there wasn't any.
  13. Think Meltzer said he didn't hear that from Khan himself. I reckon there's a lot of misinformation about to try and shroud it in secrecy. It wont be what anyone thinks it is I reckon
  14. Nah fuck that. Matt and Nick doing commentary on the footage and putting over Jack Perry, pretending Punk isn't even there could be the snarky bullshit I live for.
  15. Agreed. I think it was more 'What's he up to' rather than smiling babyface. Cody V The Rock should be massive and have The Rock continue on this trajectory. He has clearly loved it and it's hopefully convinced him to take some more risks (also in his acting career which has been shit for years) No, especially as I'm not sure him and Rollins are particularly close. Mox loves the freedom he gets wrestling the way he loves. Perhaps in a few years if he feels like hanging it up, but I cannot see him being back there any time soon unless a deal was cut. Overall it was an OK RAW. No real mega surprises. I do wonder where they go from here. Punk/Drew is obviously great fun, but I do question who's facing Cody until The Rock/Roman get back.
  16. The perfect finale for Curb and the perfect last 5 minutes.
  17. Michael Cole was superb on commentary in that Main Event. He's always going to somewhat grate on me, but he can be excellent and last night felt the first time he's called a 'Mania main event and it felt like he added to it.
  18. This is the type of petty bullshit I'm here for
  19. Ha I get that. Someone tried to talk to me about where Spurs were going last week like I wanted to know the blueprint. It was boring for a neutral I get that, but as an Arsenal fan who has seen us get our pants pulled down multiple times in away games, the change was incredibly good to see. You rightly said Spurs went there and scored 3, and have often won there. But that style of football has a ceiling. You'll then lose 1 nil to Dulwich Hamlets or something. We can vary it up this season and we probably should have nicked that game. The lack of defensive resolve during the mid to late Wenger era really bothered me, it meant the football just wasn’t aesthetically pleasing to me even though at times we were lovely to watch. Arsenal don't give chances away now, but can also go out and pummel teams. Against City we couldn't lose. Title race over if so. It wasn't not thinking he couldn't win, it was knowing we could not drop all 3 points at this stage, a marked difference from last season against Liverpool where we tried to go toe to toe and conceded twice and should have lost it. If anything I think it shows Arteta does think we can win the league now. Team who don't concede chances usually go very close
  20. Arsenal have scored the most goals this season and have been smashing teams left and right. But yeah boring
  21. Sorry just saw this. Hilarious and you're one of the good Spurs fans! I would have thought after 9 or so years of United being a mess that it wouldn't still be amusing to me. It very much still is
  22. Doesn't Edge dislike Punk? I remember that Heyman podcast with Jericho and Edge was basically saying 'what's that guys problem' because he called him out about watching a Hockey match or something.
  23. Copeland definitely faces Kenny if he's fit and healthy,
  24. I watched it this morning. It was pretty tame, him just saying how thankful he is for AEW and that he loves wrestling with his friends. But Punk falls out with people over any old shit so who knows.
