I am trying to see the difference between what someone is doing, right now as leader of argubly the most powerful country in the world, and him being allowed to carry on, and a movie director who said some dumb shit 10 years ago and apologized for it before. Trump has caused a rise in tensions and racism across the world. He isn't the host of the Apprentice anymore, he is one of the most powerful men in the world who appears to be made of teflon. I cannot understand why he is able to continuely get away with everything, whilst a movie director was fired. Roseanne Barr, had a history of racist and anti semitism, and they still brought her show back. She was only fired when she was racist again now, not for past tweets. It is either a stitch up, or there are skelletons in the closet. But right now it looks iffy.

I love the GOTG films, I think he is a good director, and I don't think he should have been fired if someone rediscovering those tweets is the only reason why. If there is more to it then that, then I guess they didn't have any choice.

So, in that case where his comments then were very un-Disney, why did they hire him? They knew about those tweets, they must have. And when he was questioned about it (I saw some tweets with someone calling him out about it around 2013 I think it was) and he apologized then, why did Disney do nothing? This isn't a case of being caught doing something they had no idea about, these were public comments. It is the hypocrisy I don't like when people like John Lasseter and Johnny Depp are still celebrated by the company (and in JL's case, still on the payroll).

However, James Gunn is very vocal about Trump. Bob Iger, head of Disney is friends of Trump. I think they have jumped the gun on their reaction to this personally (pun not intended)

I saw a video yesterday on Channel 4 news of people would not change their opinion on trump because of a 1 hour press conference. All Trump has done is made it seemingly ok for people to be out and out racist rather then do it behind closed doors. Like Hulk Hogan,

I didn't rate their dealings last season at all (apart from Marko Aranutovic, though I also felt Moyles would keep them up). But a new, proven manager, their club record signing in Anderson, looking likely to sell Carroll, it's looking good. 

West Ham so far have had a cracking transfer window. I’m starting to think we will have a top 10 season ahead of us. My optimism probably means we’ll be in a relegation dog fight by Christmas

Inventions is a character buffet. Better then cafe Mickey for food and characters. It’s in the Disneyland Hotel. I don’t mind Cafe Mickey but the menu is limited

I am speaking to a lot of people of a similar age (30's and 40's) who have cut ties with one or both parents. I cut ties with my parents a few months after my first was born. I never realised how toxic or evil they were. I always defended them and then it started to breakdown. The last time we were all in the same room, my mum pulled out a prosthetic bra filler (she had a un-necessary mastectomy) and hit my wife in the face with it and then said she was lucky there wasn't a knife in the room.

It later turns out (as my brother still speaks to them, begrudgingly) the cancer she had (hence the mastectomy) never existed. But she still tells people she fought cancer and won. She is messed up.

no not at all. Everything it included. The mastercard thing just gives card holder reserved seating. That show is in the studio (it's not a proper magic show mind), as is the new Marvel Stage show which opened last month and Lights Motors Action which is a car stunt show. Also pretty good.

I’ve not seen it yet, as not been for 2 years myself but my wife and everyone I know has gone says the Mickey and the Magician show is amazing. If you have a MasterCard you can go to City Hall in main st and they have special tickets you can get first thing in the morning for special seats. Hyperspace Mountain, Tower Of Terror, Rock and Rollercoaster, Big Thunder Mountain are must do’s for me. Pirates of the Caribbean is another must do
