Soda stream was better than proper pop.

I bought one about a year ago to reduce my carbon footprint buying bottles of Fizzy Water (which is better then still water, i think we all agree). I don't buy their flavours but I do make sparking water and also fizzy squash. Well worth the ÂŁ40 it cost and the gas refills are only about ÂŁ10 if you take back your old one and last a fair while

I'm glad. That's what I wanted to hear, just like the people who tell me Mr Frosty was crap.

it was fucking awful. I remember wanting Mr Frosty so bad and it was used once and never again

The thing about it that boggles my mind is that there is no way Disney wouldn't have vetted James Gunn before they hired him.  So Disney must have known about the tweets and the initial backlash from them, but they hired him anyway.  But they took the cowardly way out and just binned him instead of supporting the choice they made hiring him.  They must have felt he was the right kind of person to direct a Disney branded movie in 2013...not sure what Gunn has done different in 2018? It's not like Roseanne where he is a serial offender.

He even apologised for the tweets before he started filming the first Guardians so they were definitely aware. I think this was their way of cancelling GOTG 3 and cutting the expanding wage bill for people like Chris Pratt tbh. I'm guessing the film will be officially cancelled within the next few months

Great respect for the guy. Not many people stick their necks out like that. I know he's always got a wrestling career to fall back on (let's face it, WWE would have him back in a heartbeat, not to mention he could also make a shit-ton working Japan or the larger indies and conventions), but it's still nowhere near as much as he can make from movies, so fair play to him for being prepared to take the hit.

He hasn't made "the leap" yet. Other then Blade Runner 2049, he still appears in lots of low budget stuff. He will probably still be able to do that regardless because he is a name and people will pay for it. He obviously has Vinnie Mac sized balls though and I admire him for his stance. The whole situation is embarrassing. It wouldn't surprise me if the cast open letter in support was Big Dave rounding everyone up and making them write it!

Without seeming to back the man up, people do get banned to quickly on here? I quite like the musing of trolls like cat crater or not alex shane, makes things interesting. It’s not like everyone doesnt know they are probably trolling, why not leave them be? Anyone who takes the trolls serious need a chill pill.

should have put that in the unpopular thread i guess.

I disagree. You have to continually be a twat before you got banned or really break a rule. I’m surprised he lasted that long tbh

  6. Just saw Teen Titans Go to the movies. Possibly the best DC film since Batman Begins (yeah I don’t enjoy TDK, save for Heath Ledger) and easily the2nd best Superhero film this year. Haven’t laughed at film that much in ages. Definitely worth a watch. Funnier then both Deadpool films combined as well and smarter.

  7. How many times have heel's had to result to being homophobic, racist or mocking the disabled to get heat in the last 10 years? If you are a decent heel you don't need to resort to cheap heat tactics. All this does is shows you are shit at your job that the only way to get a crowd reaction is to be massively offensive

The only one of of his films I actively disliked was Fear and Desire. Would never have guessed he would go on to achieve what he did after that, it's AWFUL. I love Eyes Wide Shut unconditionally.

I used to think that I liked the first half of Full Metal Jacket and not the Vietnam half but I changed my mind on that, they're both outstanding. My favourite is still The Shining, I watch it every Halloween, but yeah. I'm a fan.

I only finally watched The Shining last Halloween after going to the horror maze at Universals Halloween Horror Nights. I don't think it is the scariest horror film I have ever seen, however I do think it is one of my favorites. If you haven't already seen it I recommend watching

    Ready Player one

Jesus H christ on a skateboard you lot really are a bunch of utter snowflakes

I seriously doubt anyone who joyously takes a length up their Jackson on a frequent basis is harmed by an entertainer telling them what they already know they are

Your trolling sucks. You’re not funny at all and just annoying really

Just watched the Wonder Woman film.  Shit a brick, it was bad.  Reminded me of a poor episode of ‘Elllo, ‘Ello.

It’s by far the best of the DC Universe. I didn’t hate Justice League, found it average. BvS was awful. With this I thought it was good, but the rave reviews of it are so off the mark it’s unreal.

I'll be honest D-Mal. I've had a few and I'm watching Eyes Wide Shut with Aoife {the missus) because she wont watch anything rancher than this or Peaky Blinders and Cruise is crying into a pillow over a mask at a weird camera angle and I'm anfry and annoyed.

I do love yhe Shinning though

    But... Full Metal Jacket....

of the films I have seen I have seen I would say he can be a bit of a mixed bag from the amazing to the average.

Yeah, but it's a chicken restaurant, I would hardly say you or I are the appropriate people to be saying it's shit considering we can't eat what it's designed to produce. It may be a 'quick eats' place, but demonstrably one based on chicken to the extent they have a giant chicken as their logo. I can't imagine anyone saying 'let's go Nandos for a Portabello mushroom in a bun', you go for the chicken.

I dunno, the Sweet Potato Burger is pretty great as are the halloumi fries

Oh wow, that's really not that expensive! I think space is probably the biggest issue...

If you have a Barbecue have you looked at the pizza box ovens? Cost about £100 but you can put it on the grill
