Clearly going against the grain in this thread but I class Jarrett in the same class as Edge, I just don't get the appeal as a main eventer. Solid upper mid card but has never really shone as a main eventer.Â
Tbf my starting point with his career was getting twatted by Chyna and I guess I've never really gotten past that. He has his moments of fun and can be a solid heel but I just don't get it. I can't recall a single match that I would want to watch again.
Happy to have suggestions to change my mind if that's possible...

Currently got into the routine of watching dynamite on itv4. It's easy watching and brings back classic Friday night wrestling nostalgia. Loving the Danielson storyline.Â

My brother bought a SNES in 2001 from a friend for £15. It came with super Mario all stars and I maintain it contains the greatest Mario game of all time, super Mario Bros 3. Not even world comes close imo.Â
A solid console which I revisit on the switch from time to time..

@hallickssorry to hear that your older sibling is being a massive tosser. Try to focus on your children and keep up your record in ignoring those who aren't worth it.Â

Fully support the strikes, solidarity with all who are taking a stand.Â
The Tory press attacking unions and pushing misinformation shows they're getting desperate. I had a conversation with my old man who pedalled the tripe about train drivers making 60k. He wasn't as happy acknowledging the plight of cleaners, guards, ticket attendants....Â
Up the workers, fuck the Tories.

I fucking hate Christmas and the forced fun that comes with it. I teach and have deadlines all around Christmas and generally feel burnt out by students who keep sending drafts etc. So by the time I actually get to end of term, I've had enough and just want to do nothing. That, and previous Christmases have been dominated by Mrs Wideload's family and I fucking hate the Tory cunts. They're the kind of people who harass you for not drinking, are full of little private in-jokes and brag about their bonuses as they work in financial district. Ergh.
Â
That said, I'm excited for my children's sake and have little festive activities planned including a visit to the local farm winter wonderland event.Â
Â
We're moving house on the 17th and will hopefully have my brother and his children round Xmas eve for a little children's party. Other than that, it's eating and trying not to moan about getting shit I didn't ask for or want. Humbug.

There's not one character I dislike, which is odd considering the size of the series. So so so good.
I think Mothma wins best character for me and I love the way her story is fleshed out from her limited appearance in the original trilogy.Â
The complete lack of fan service is so refreshing. Filoni is clearly not needed as much as people think.Â
When I die, I want to be turned into a brick which is used to smash fascists in the face.Â

I've got a colleague who has just downsized and bought a bungalow. She calls it "the bungealow" - ghastly.Â
She's also a hollybobs twat so I'm hardly surprised.

Every episode tops the last one. Easily the best Star Wars TV output and I love it.Â
Serkis is tremendous.
One way out.

Agree with @chokeout - loving the pace. It's deliberate and there's so much character building here. It is so nice to see the Empire being fleshed out politically without stormtroopers and dogfights.Â
More of this content and less fan-service please.

In the last week I've caught Thor 4 and She Hulk. Thor was the absolute pits whereas she hulk hit the mark for me - light hearted, fun and easy to consume. Granted, the CGI was ropey as fuck in places but it was a low stakes marvel series that has tremendous potential.

I've taken no joy in watching Prince nonce Andrew getting heckled as he trails his mother's coffin, none what so ever.
I jest, it's brilliant... Even if people are getting arrested for voicing an opinion.

Nobody will forget where they were.
Whether you are a fan of the monarchy or not, she served her country and there will never be another.

It felt great to be back in Westeros again. I was questioning Paddy as the lead but he excelled again.Â
Lots of gore, plenty of smut and a great soundtrack. I just keep looking at people wondering who'll turn on who.... 10 episodes will fly by.Â

Would very much rather pour hot lead down my japs eye than watch that shite. A perfect example for this thread.

Don’t know why you keep saying this when a quick Google shows it wasn’t the first wrestling game. The release of Nitro was even delayed so as not to compete with sales of WCW vs. The World.
Apologies to both you and @air_raid - for clarification, it was the first wrestling game I played on PlayStation. I shall repent etc...

I take massive exception to this. Compared to vs the World, it was a dogshit button basher.
It was the first game - obviously there's better ones but for the first wrestling game, it was glorious. Nothing quite like having your player taunt on the character select screen. Also, for a gaming novice, Nitro was ideal.Â

What a welcome thread - the second console we owned after the might Sega Megadrive. Christmas 1998, an original playstation with Duke Nukem, Tomb Raider and Star Wars: Dark Forces attached. So many great memories:
Tombi - a great 2D platformer that seems to go for stupid money.
Kula World - the joy of bouncing around platforms as a beach ball, avoiding spikes and gathering fruit...
Rocks & Gems - this surfaced on one of the early demo discs and was a no-frills clever puzzler
My all time favourite: Future Cop: LAPD. Countless hours spent playing multiplayer, racing around in a police mech, capturing turrets in multiplayer and going back to a solid campaign mode. I'd love an updates version.
WCW Nitro was the first wrestling game on there and it didn't disappoint. Thunder, on the other hand...
I can go on, but I won't... for now.
Thank you @FelatioLips - Nice to go back to a simpler time.Â

Babyfaces cashing in after a grueling match is not enjoyable. It's lazy booking. Heels doing it makes sense and provides a platform to hate from, faces doing it makes no sense and does harm to the new champion. Hardly surprising though...

I've got Queen + Adam Lambert coming up in the O2 this month. I've never been before but will be standing. What's it like getting to the front? Any wisdom appreciated...

Spoilers ahead:

I just don't get why they have to fight.. the entire episode could have avoided the fight scene and still been good.. instead it dilutes episode 4 and had some crappy visuals. Highlights included hammer wielding droid and a Quinlan Vos namedrop.Â

Seeing Kenobi again brought out the fanboy in me. I love that all of the shit from the trailer has been covered in the first two episodes, leaving this completely open.
That being said, the cynic in me isn't so keen on yet another childcare storyline - Mando has grogu and bad batch has omega... I don't think we need another one.Â
All Tories Are Cunts thread

All of this Matt Hancock and Isobel Oakeshott fighting highlights how repulsive the lot of them are. Despite all this shit, those cunts are still trying to focus on small boats instead of the criminal behaviour of the Tory party over the last 3 years.Â
Fucking shameful behaviour and the sooner these cunts are gone, the better.Â
