A second viewing didn't change my mind. I also can't work out if Fett is meant to be serious or mildly comical. The first episode of the Mandalorian shits over this one - also, despite being consumed by a sarlaac he maintained his great white smile.

Just caught PMQs - nothing like watching a drowning man at sea. Denies a party, is disgusted there was a party, wants to move on from the party/non-party and before being completely submerged, throws away lines about playing politics and class A drugs.

 

Shameful.

My initial response was BATB when Hogan comes out and provides the world the greatest heel turn ever seen in the history of professional wrestling.

 

But that HBK Bret tease was absolutely superb. Heel Shawn in full glory - stunning.

I'm not sure what the book of Boba Fett will offer as it feels similar to mandalorian. That said, I'm looking forward to it and hope it explores the underground crime scene. 

(Star wars visions was decent too.)

I rushed in without reading this thread. It's nice to have a nostalgia hit but the lack of games available on launch is disappointing.

After playing Mario kart 8 for so long, going back to 64 feels odd and the controls are jerky. Fingers crossed things get ironed out.

Finished this over a week as Mrs W thought it was too stressful to watch.

Games were fun, the way it was shot was stunning and the character development over 9 episodes was tremendous. That said, the last episode let me down and left things feeling a bit flat. If it could have been summed up in a single series it would have been better but it's all about money....

Just get on the plane for Christ sake.

Spending my Saturday night catching up on the buy-in via YouTube. Suzuki Bryan is something different... I like it and I love how it demonstrates Bryan's versatility and ability to mix styles. 

Compared to 5 minutes of Brock, this free show shits on WWE.

Caught first episode of squid game because I bowed to peer pressure. Very well made and it makes me want to watch more. 

I'm not one to binge episodes so I'll be taking time to digest it.

I've given this some more thought - Jericho is akin to Motorhead. They're recognisable, had a few hits and could quite easily sell out an O2 academy. Getting to sell out the O2 arena? Very very unlikely. Jericho isn't a huge draw but adds something to the card.

The biggest problem I find with Jericho is that he doesn't ooze star power - he thinks he does and it is this false belief that he's a top draw that dilutes any real chance of being considered one of the best. 

I don't know why this bugs me so much.

Jericho is a chameleon. He can adapt his act to a company and/or particular performer - that's talent. 

Do I class him as a headliner? No. Upper mid-card with flourishes in the upper ranks at best. He's not a Hogan, Austin, Rock or Cena and there's times where he isn't even in the league of Bret, HBK and Angle. 

Is he a solid hand? Yes. Can you name 10 matches or moments that cement him as an all-time great? Probably not.

Miles better than Ziggler, nowhere near Austin level.

I anticipate grief from this...

Never have the energy to watch a show but highlights on social media from country boy Brock Lesnar show why he's head and shoulders above the rest. His Hardy interruption was superb.

Smartwatches. Mrs. W has an apple one and it's the best thing since sliced bread (apparently). I'm a shitty android (OnePlus) user and have no idea where to start. I'm looking to use it for messages and notifications.

 

Any recommendations greatly appreciated - no budget.

The Steamboat mini comeback was the first thing that came to mind. Such a surprise and great fun to watch. 

Gigs are much like every other part of life - the majority are sound but there's always a dickhead ready to ruin something.

 

My last gig (ZZ Top 2019) had people smoking indoors next to us which was a nuisance - we moved. Problem solved.

Front row for a small Magic Numbers gig (don't judge me) and some turd pushed ahead - tutting and moaning didn't change anything so I just got on with enjoying the music.

A Darkness gig (Yeah, my taste is balls) had somebody drop several bottles of beer at my feet - I told him to pack it in and he moved. 

Did it ruin my enjoyment of the gig? No. Do I remember it because it's dickhead behaviour? Yes. 

If you're front row, be prepared for physical contact - just make sure you NEVER shake somebody's hand. That is a hangable offence...

Caught the Lesnar highlight on YouTube. Such little effort provides so much entertaining. Just a shame very little else matches him. 

That awful booyaka 619 shit made me dislike Rey Mysterio more than I already do.

When watching a recorded live show (such as ELO at Wembley) and it focuses on twats in the audience who sing the song wrong. Either sing correctly or shut up.

And they end up in the final cut. Shoddy.

Goldberg surprised me. Lynch bitching out Belair was unnecessary and the Edge entrance was decent.
