  1. Can someone who knows just clarify for me, Callis on Killing the Town called TNA the 2nd biggest promotion in the US, surely for the love of god that can't be right can it? When was the last time they got 1 person to pay for a ticket to watch them, aside from BFG? In fact on the contrary, they pay poor fuckers. How much money do they make from shop TNA, from merch? Basically what I want to know is how much money do TNA make/lose in a year, 2016 for example?

Now I look at ROH, who legit sell out buildings they run, attendances are good, Final Battle has already sold out. They must kill it at the merch stand cos all the indy shirts are cool n that. They have a TV Deal and are on this Fite app, how many people watch there show?

Then I look at a company like PWG, who have no TV Deal but the tickets for live shows are like rocking horse shit, sell out in like 3 minutes and go for decent dollar, they then sell DVD's I'm guessing by the bucket load and again, must do well with merch etc.

  2. Good god, what are they seriously expecting from this? You seen the Smackdown attendances with Owens, Sami, AJ etc etc on the show, dreadful. Are real humans going to pay to see Tony Nese and Mustafa Ali, I reckon 6 shows before they sack it off, they aint drawing 200 to this shit.

Tim Storm is the best babyface in wrestling, 53 year old school teacher and they seem to making that title seem important again, a lot more than most belts in wrestling.

Tim Storm is better than AJ Styles?? It's a good feel good story but let's not go crazy eh.

  4. Yeah fair shout that. Also, not seen him for a while but Timothy Thatcher would be bang on, think he wrestles in Evolve?

Something is drawing me in on this NWA stuff, as bad as that match was, add in that I have an intense dislike for Magnus I still watched it, something about the presentation was comforting. And that title belt, boy what a thing of beauty.

Jim Cornette did say that both Zayn and Owens where hard to work with in ROH, and also Austin Aries, so it turns out that he is right!

hopefully this can all be sorted out as a "moment of madness" or something like that, and both can return, as i am a big fan of both

That coming from the king of diplomacy Jim Cornette.

Problem is Owens and Zayn aint even Black so they can't play the race card to get Vince to like them again. They're fucked.

Cheers lads. I’ll check them out tomorrow.

Isn't there some kerfuffle with next week’s War Games not following the usual rules?

Aye the virgins on Reddit are kicking off about the Wrestlers starting out in pods (is that right) elimination chamber style I think.

They'll get over it I'm sure.

All involved with the Velveteen Dream character deserve a huge pat on the back, I'm entranced by him, the music, the sauntering, but never ever do I not believe he's a badass and is likely to flip. It's such a well done character.

  7. As much as I love the guy I still don't see why Tony Schiavone. He openly admits he stayed away from any backstage drama or politics and seems like even when he was there he welcomed the cheque each week but really didn't give much of a shit.

A WCW retrospective would surely be better suited to a Kevin Sullivan, isn't he on the same MLW network so you'd think it could be arranged. Having said that I can listen to Tony's soothing voice every day and never get bored, I'm actually curious to hear his work on that MLW one shot show, Tony calling Ricochet vs Shane Strickland in 2017 is surely absolute madness.

  8. Has anybody listened to What Happened When from Monday, fucking hell, this is Schiavone's finest hour in the podcast world. Him and Conrad watch the entire Halloween Havoc '95 card and Tony goes absolutely beserk, impressions, running commentary, insults. He must have been on the sauce or something the loon, I was in the gym and legit burst out laughing maybe 6 times when he was on about Hogan and the Yetay.

It may divide opinion as it gets out of control and a bit of a clusterfuck but personally I loved it.

He had a separate, unrelated bin lorry related incident since the PPV. He moved on from ambulances to bin lorries, because Braun Strowman vs. Public Service Vehicles is the feud of the year.

To be honest they would have better matches than Roode and Ziggler.

Jason Jordan is never getting over is he, just release the cunt.

  10. Whoever booked Kane to beat Balor should be fired on the fucking spot. Balor is over, like him or not, and they wonder why there are zero stars in this company, GIVE SOMEBODY SOME FUCKING MOMENTUM. He beats what I would think most people perceive to be the top guy on Smackdown on the Sunday and loses devastatingly clean to a part time goofball the next night. It's ridiculous and indicative of recent WWE booking.

That ending segment was so cringeworthy it's not even funny, nobody ever has, and will never buy into a war WITHIN the company, never. Ever. Seeing Nakamura in that horrific Blue T-Shirt wandering the backstage area like some streets of rage character, FORCING fans to boo Wrestlers they like, the whole thing is absurd. I'm dreading this 4 weeks.
